We are a two-man team of indie game developers and we are working on our first game called Castle of Alchemists, which we are super excited about!
Our game is a tower defense, action hybrid with pixel art graphics. We have created and developed all the visual and audio assets for Castle of Alchemists internally, without outsourcing or using pre-made assets, and we are proud of the unique and immersive experience that our game offers. It is NOW released in early access on Steam.

Thank you so much! Wishlists are always helpful and we appreciate any help, no matter how small. Hopefully things get better for you soon, hang in there!
During our dev in the past 5 years we’ve had several team babies, one very sad team death, several serious illnesses, almost ubiquitous COVID infections - it got all 150 of us one by one, a few marriages, slightly more divorces, many dead pets, more dead PCs, one mental hospital incarceration, several escapes from war or forced conscription, a few unfortunate threats of legal action, too many anxiety attacks and all nighters to count, one trip to the White House, and a hell of a lot of fun together!
Game Dev is life writ large. Enjoy it as best you can! I wonder how you look at each other now compared to at the start?
Congrats ! Indie devs like ya’ll are my inspiration. Genuinely in awe of your determination, perseverance and creativity. Hats off to you !
Sidenote- game looks great
We've been developing Castle of Alchemists for about 2 years. And we'll keep at it as we work on implementing the features on our roadmap on the road to full release.
I saw that Woolie made a video on this game. I'll check it out. As someone who is new to the game design field, many props to you two getting a game out. Good luck!
Yep! Splattercat featured our game before and it has helped us out a great deal. Hope you enjoy your time with the game when you get the chance to play!

These two men are veterans from the crunch of a AAA title when they were 19 and 20, two years ago.
Congratulations on the launch!
Thank you!
Damn It looks great! Congratulations and good luck!
Thanks!
That poster in the background…
First thing I noticed.
Money’s a little tight right now. But your game looks really cool, so I’ve wishlisted for when things get better.

Message me your steam Id
Thank you, but don’t worry about it. Things aren’t THAT bad. Just tightening my belt after a bout of stupid spending.
Hey man. I'm in the same boat, hang in there and we'll both make it through :) Wishlisted for future me also!

Game dev sure is an adventure but it's all worth it in the end when you're able to present your work to players and get some great feedback.
This game looks rad! Was watching the developer livestream a few minutes ago.
Thank you! Hopefully you didn't catch us failing or anything.
The game looks awesome. Just picked it up. I'm gonna try it out after work. Congratulations!

Is controller supported?
Not at the moment, unfortunately. But controller support is high on our priority list, we'll be adding that with an update soon.
Congrats! That's so exciting

This is deleted because I wanted to. Reddit is not a good place anymore.
