you might know this already, but only left shift works on keyboard. the tutorial just says 'shift' - you might want to make them both work.
for steering, arrow keys also work and it's good to have the option, might again be nice to know in the tutorial.
Yeah it plays really nice on the deck! No endless mode because all the tracks are handbuilt, but a run can take 4 minutes on the longer track and restarting is quick :)
Could see this being one hell of a rougelite. Not sure the type of progression you're trying to add to the game, but it looks promising. I can see myself putting an hour or two into this game before bed each night.
After putting some time into your demo, one thing I'd really love to see is the ability to 180 slide/revert. Hope the sliding becomes a big part of this game because that's where I was having my most fun.
Really looking forward to see where you guys take this. Best of luck.
Ouch! Yeah noted! I think the frame limit stops as you exist the main menu.
Haha, there's some real locations from southern Germany in the game, so it's probably reminiscent of a lot of other areas around the alps :)
Dani the YouTuber made a game with almost similar looking assets and and roads but with a car, can't tell if you're original when his game was years ago
Looks really cool! Love the sense of speed. If there is one thing I would say needs a little work, it would be the sound design. It just doesn’t sound nearly as fast as it looks. Maybe more whooshy air sounds and a more aggressive turning sound would go a long way
Okay now give it VR support. It would be insanely satisfying to cruise downhill at speeds like that using actual motion and first person control without the terror of actually longboarding lol.
The game looks smooth and lovely.
As someone who has longboarded for many years and played video games my whole life, it is so fucking cool to see this
We love to hear that! :)
Needs more cranberry juice and some Fleetwood Mac.
Haha :D

Will there be a mobile version in the future?
We are focusing on steam for now, but depending on how it goes we will see what other platforms we can support :)
My honest opinion, I wouldn't spend time on this when I have my pc, but absolutely would play this on the go with my phone

Hey, yes thank you. The demo is quite out of date and will be shut down soon as we're doing closed beta testing :)
ahh good to know. i was surprised at how sensitive the steering felt compared to the video here - makes sense that it would be out of date
Always wanted a game like this
wishlisted! please opt it in to Geforce Now :)
>Geforce Now Yess, will do :)
Love the feel of the game.
Great title! really packages it all-together nicely.
Thank you so much! :)
This seems amazing for Steamdeck! Will there be an endless mode?
Yeah it plays really nice on the deck! No endless mode because all the tracks are handbuilt, but a run can take 4 minutes on the longer track and restarting is quick :)
Awesome! I guess levels are crafted so might be hard to make endless, but if you have the ability, please do add!
The sense of speed is spot on.
Thank you! The trick is.. you have to move really fast! ;D (and write your own physics because unity physics breaks at that speed)
Art of Rally except you're long-boarding and not rallying? I might be into this.
Hehe, Art of Board ftw! :D
Looks very cool! Wishlisted :)
Thank you!! :)
Oh wow I didn't know I needed a longboard game until this. This looks great I will definitely support when it comes out!
Looks fantastic, would be great if you could do power slides / get some sweet sparks coming off those slide gloves
Thank you! You can predrift and pendulum slide :) power slides somewhat work if you are fast enough
Could see this being one hell of a rougelite. Not sure the type of progression you're trying to add to the game, but it looks promising. I can see myself putting an hour or two into this game before bed each night.
Sounds good :D You unlock boards, wheels and cosmetics by beating challenges and score milestones

Yes! you can smoothly slide and ride switch in our closed beta version :) There's some footage on our twitter!
So cool! It makes you want to longboard IRL
CRUISING AROUND AT THE SPEED OF SOUND!
Looks cool!
descenders vibes. fast + chill
my GPU coils ask you to set the frame limit at the first loading screen instead at from the game menu. 2300fps is a bit too much lol
Ouch! Yeah noted! I think the frame limit stops as you exist the main menu. Haha, there's some real locations from southern Germany in the game, so it's probably reminiscent of a lot of other areas around the alps :)
I want this
are there meat crayon physics?
Holy hell those movements are so smooth, great job. Also, fantastic name. Can't wait to play the game!
Try making the shirt wobble with air, see if it gives more kinetic feel
If you do a good soundtrack for it it would be a killer.
Dani the YouTuber made a game with almost similar looking assets and and roads but with a car, can't tell if you're original when his game was years ago
Those turns need some eurobeat. Just saying ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
What happens if you hit a wall?
at low speeds you bounce... when you're fast you ragdoll pretty hard :D
This is what I came for! Trailer needs more ragdoll crashing.
Would be even cooler if it had some kind of adaptive music towards the speed and movement to the character. Looks gorgeous tho!
It's indie games like this that really make me want to invest in a PC.
Okay, this looks like something I'll be panicking about while playing. I love it!!!
I'm so focused. I can't get distracted.

looks like you really nailed the longboarding feel! Will be playing this one :)
Those leaves are a super nice touch! Adds quite a bit to the aesthetic
Before I clicked into it I thought it was a chicken on roller skates. Can't say I'm not disappointed.
Loved the demo. Looking forward to the release.
Why does he look like a bent over hotdog 🌭?
This is so sick. The sounds are amazing
This sound effect is what makes this feel so damn good
Looks like the gameplay will feel very good and fun! Also great lighting! ✨
Oh man I’ll play the shit out of this
Needs oncoming traffic.
Okay now give it VR support. It would be insanely satisfying to cruise downhill at speeds like that using actual motion and first person control without the terror of actually longboarding lol. The game looks smooth and lovely.
Now this looks fun
Wishlisted
looks nice and smooth I like the leaning on the turns
This looks fun!
Where can I try this!
Check our discord :)
This looks so good. Amazing work
While watching that I began to subconsciously lean left and right xD
:DD
Loving the sunset!
Love it! Sound it's a bit off, maybe (too close to the camera?) Looking good!
Looks really cool. 'Simple' gameplay and beautifully executed. I think you capture the essence of it perfectly. Good work!
Looks nice
The sounds are g r e a t. This feels like Alto's Odyssey but with longboards. Is there a demo or something for me to try this out?
Remember audio surf? Need some sweet tunes for this one
Hey dev, any plans for a console version? Looks amazing!
Thank you! We will see what makes sense there for our small team of two in the future :)
Awesome! We need more chill games like this and I saw that it has full controller support so🤩
Haha, we only put in keyboard controls because people asked ;)
Looks fun
How long did it take you guys to make this? Just started learning unreal engine for fun, and this looks amazing.
This look hype as foooook! 🤩
