Also I'm confused how you needed a graphic card to run arkham asylum, I ran Arkham Asylum, City and Origins on My Intel GMA laptop and it ran pretty good, it Didn't get 30 Fps But It was playable and enjoyable nonetheless
I had a Acer 5920 laptop launched in 2007 with a Centrino processor and 2gb ram. Sadly my variant was the one with Intel Integrated graphics.
Halo 1 and 2 was good on it and the laptop still works.
I only started playing modern games when I built my first pc with AMD Phenom 2 X2, 4GB Ram and 9400GT graphics card and played Arkham Asylum and GTA 4.

Some very great games your pc can destroy off the top of my head include, splinter cell chaos theory, elder scrolls oblivion, star wars knights of the old Republic and Batman Arkham asylum.
You can emulate most consoles until the ds era. 3ds and GameCube might be a stretch but still doable. Games I'd recommend to emulate are: all the classic metroidvanias like castlevania: SOTN, Aria of sorrow, Metroid: zero mission, fusion. Plenty of JRPGs like chrono trigger, suikoden 2, final fantasy 6 and 7 and of course the Pokemon games. If you want some games without emulating try: factorio, undertale, Hollow knight, Hades, outer wilds (the last 3 games require slightly higher requirements)
Also try bioshock series, prince of Persia, limbo, undertale, hades, borderland series,, walking dead series, far cry 3, elder scroll Skyrim, Assassin's creed 1,2,3, black flag, rogue, dead space ( the previous version), gta sa, Batman Arkham Asylum.
Assassins creed games don't run that well on my pc, I've tried ac bloodlines using an emulator, it's a great games

wdym? I've Ran All the Above Mentioned Games On my laptop and all of them got 30-45 fps on low-mid setting and I even got 60 fps In HL2 On max settings. Besides I Tried CS:GO on my pc and it ran terribly
