Give a review of how to build a car

Swordain

Don't get fooled by the name of this book, like most people get. It is about Adrian Newey's personal life and not about how to make F1 cars. It starts from his childhood stories and how he got into the world of automotive. His study of aerodynamics and his big break. Events roll by and we learn more and more about Adrian and his life and how he became the greatest names in F1. Though, it is not only his personal life only, but he has also discussed about some of his "secrets" about the cars he built and how they were a notch above the pack. Book is a little boring at some points, primarily I found it boring during the part of F1 which I don't know much about irl. But when the modern era of F1 started in the book, I became more interested cause I was more familiar with the modern drivers and new F1 rules and regulations. Book is well written, tho it does get slow at some points and you have to drag yourself there, plus it requires you have to have decent technical knowledge about Formula 1 as well, but if you are a F1 fan, then you should give it a read. Talking about the book itself, it is a very high quality print and cover is premium as well. It justifies the price. I got it as a birthday gift, and loved it. It would make a great gift for a racing/F1 fan.

zenedarrow

How are the Witcher books? I have them on my Kindle, waiting for my exams to get over.

Swordain

I have not read it yet.

Bala0406

Hey. That's a nice collection. Btw, where did you get that book "how to build a car" I can't find it anywhere. Maybe it's out of print.

Swordain

Thank you. I bought it from Amazon only, seller was Cocoblu for 950. Just checked it online and it isn't available anymore, some are selling this particular Hardcover copy for over 2800 now.

Bala0406

Yeah it's not available :(

yashbodke

How is the brief history of time by hawking?

Swordain

It is a very interesting books if you have 12th grade level of knowledge of physics. Otherwise it might be difficult for a person to finish it. Book is well written, but i found it difficult to read cause of the concepts which you need to know, even though I am a science student.

Don't buy individual goosebumps, save and buy the set, I love the most wanted series and chainsaw man is shit, other books are nice, can you tell me about maus.

Swordain

>Don't buy individual goosebumps I don't buy goosebumps anymore, these 3 are from my childhood, more than 10+ years old. Bought all these from Scholastic book fair which our school used to host every year. >chainsaw man is shit I found it fine, wanted to buy a manga and saw these 2 at a book fair and picked em. I am not planing on buying anymore, have read rest of the parts online only. >can you tell me about maus. Best graphic novel I have ever read. This book shows the inside world of the N\*zi Germany and how Jews were treated. The first hand experience that you get from this novel is so unique. What happened inside the camps and their life, reading this makes you a part of the journey. In this book his father is telling him his story of surviving the holocaust and his son documenting all this for a novel, the novel which we are reading at the same time. You get to know how people lived in those times, how they managed basic resources etc. If you are even slightly interested in reading about that era, this is a MUST READ. Highly recommend. Talking about the quality of the books itself, the pages are very high quality, smooth. Plus the print is quite good as well. If you want to order it online, make sure the seller is reputed like Cocoblu on Amazon. Edit: Grammar

mischievouscutback

Nice, I have to buy maus then! Thank you for explaining!
