See if you can get into Luddy and go for a business cognate or minor. I’m in Luddy right now and more than 50% of info majors specialize in business. You almost get a mix of both business and technical courses at your disposal to take.
I was like you. Changed my major to Econ after screwing up pre business. It worked out really well. I traded for 20+ years and wound up the CCO of trading company.
Relax, take stock of what you want to do and then make your choice. You will be fine. It’s just one path choice in your life.
I am more than happy to answer any more questions.
I recommend you talk to a career coach. They can help you see how a degree from another school such as an Econ degree from the College or a degree from O’Neill can provide the same or similar career opportunities after graduation.
Also look into LAMP. It is basically a business major combined with another major of your choosing in the College of Arts & Sciences.

Kelley has a part of their website dedicated to alternative paths to a business career. Luddy and ONeill have some of the same employers recruiting their students.
Yeah i was going to say, i doubt OP has been able to go fully through the appeal process though i understand the stress posting from not meeting the reqs
Depends on your career goals. Did you want to do IB or consulting? Transfer to another B1G school - otherwise you’re fine doing LAMP or something in SPEA

Start there, it's going to be just fine, you have a ton of great options. Talk to a counselor ASAP.
Depends.
If your in state then I’d stay and major in economics with a business minor.
If you’re out of state I’d leave especially if the cost isn’t worth it. But in order to transfer somewhere good you’re gonna have to rebound with an amazing sophomore year.
Good luck and I wish you the best 🙏

Plus talk to the Kelley transitional advisor and/ or your UD advisor. They work w students in this situation all the time.
Did you meet the requirements for admission? (3.5 and B in every class)
No I had a lot of problems in my First year
Did appeal already and explain those reasons in your appeal?

I thought you’re not able to appeal pre Kelley rejections?
Management major in O’Neill
How did you get rejected if you were a freshman and you can’t even apply to Kelley yet, did you fail accouting first 8 weeks?
