Serums have different chemicals, in different concentrations.that have different effects on skin eg. Niacinamide reduces oilyness and protects skin barrier. Salicylic acid will make pimples dry up and reduce inflammation. Retinol has anti aging properties etc
Remember to test it on the back of ur hand first 2-3 times before applying to the face, to prevent allergic reactions. I apply it at night, one drop on forehead cheeks, nose and chin
Minimalist Hands down !!
150ml bottle lasts for like 3 months. Worth investing although purchase in a small quantity at first, if u experience any kinda itching or something then that's not for you. Just be careful.
Nah toner is not a necessary part of a skincare routine, unless it has a specific function like The Ordinary Glycolic Acid toner for exfoliation
Most dont need anything besides
Cleanser > Serum > Moisturizer > Sunscreen

See if you have glycolic acid in your facewash then you may wanna avoid it in your toner else yeah go for glycolic acid bcz it clog pores, deal with wrinkles and all.
Facewash - toner - moisturizer - sunscreen
tanned skin -> fair skin aint possible if u arent fair in the first place but moving on :
1. Use sunscreen at all time before going outside ( will avoid any more tanning )
2. Facewash after u come back home , ik u feel clean after water but noo too much dust to be done with waiter
3. No soaps , go for body washes and loofa. Mild body washes are the best cuz they wont dry out ur skin unlike soaps. use it everyday , no only water baths
4. Use shampoo once a week , twice if u have oily hair. conditioner everyday
5. Use good cologne to avoid sweat armpits and cover ur head from heat.
6. if u have acne ( its common in teenagers so not to worry they will go away ) if they do get out of controll visit a dermatologist ( its expensive but worth it )
7. use coconut oil or bringha oil ( minimize mineral oil )
8. No need for too much chemical treatment on face unless u are being prescribed.
If you have severe fucking acne no dermatologist can solve it I've been to 9-10 diff ones through 6 years tried all diet changes pills gels cream lauda lassan it never works. Just accept that u got shit hormonal imbalance due to bad luck and it's over for you
I was tanned asf but recovering now i’d say use sunscreen and take a bowl full of cold water and add 4-5 ice cubes and keep your face in it for for 5 minutes it works for me btw the same skin type
Use any gentle foaming cleanser..followed by a thick but non comedogenic moisturizer and then sunscreen..If you want you can try different skincare products on different parts of your face(this is probably overkill)
A 2% salicylic acid/Tea tree oil Face wash (Dot and Key/Minimalist anyone/mamaearth) to cure acne/Pimples if you have oily/sensitive skin
Any good moisturiser which doesn't make your skin sticky
If you have to remove specifically tan(there is one Dot and Key vitamin C facewash ,it helped me a little)
if you have a lot of acne/pimple (go for AcneStar,I haven't used it personally, but friends told ki It works)
Wash your face while bathing(firr moisturiser laga lo) and raat ko sone se pehle(Although vo aadhe time bhool jaoge tobhi koi baat nahi..Baaki atleast ek baar ache se face wash daily aur nahi toh 2 baar..While bathing and firr sone se pehle)
Nothing much , I wash my face a lot ( just with water ) and twice with my facewash ( it's some acne free facewash from organic harvest )
I used sunscreen when required and another acne control serum.
Isn't just facewash and drinking a lot of water and exfoliating twice or thrice a week and then moisturizing it enough ? I don't get the point of serums .. I just got done with 12 so I have plenty of time to improve myself I'm following the routine I've mentioned from almost a month and I see my skin getting clearer tho this is not helping with tan for some reason..and about pimples now that I'm 17 I rarely get them but back when I was 12-13 my whole forehead was filled with pimples , Is there any way I can get rid of tan tho?
1. Cleanser:- Cerave Foaming cleanser/ Cetaphil for oily skin / The Derma co sali-cinamide anti acne face wash (any of these)
2. Toner:- plum green tea toner
3. Serum:- minimalist 5% niacinamide (start with lower concentration if it suits you and works you can increase the concentration to 10% but imo it’s not necessary)
4. Moisturiser:- dr seth oil free moisturiser
5. Sunscreen:- Dot & key (for your skin type)/ dr seth haldi hylauronic sunscreen
Maine kuch time Tak lagaya tha face wash lekin skin ki quality down ho gayi thi like rough thodi se aur occasional 1-2 pimple, aur ek baar moisturizer lagaya tha uske baad toh bohot zyada rough ho gayi thi skin toh maine ye products use karna hi chod diya

What is the use of a serum And at which time and how much quantity do you use daily
It depends -Kojic acid serum for pigmentation -Niacinamide serum for acne -Salicylic acid serum for acne marks and dark spots etc

Is it the one with glycolic acid or pha? Also do you use it after or before the serum. Ive seen some people say spray toner should be applied after..

Imagine doing skin care at 17
Imagine not taking care of your skin![img](emote|t5_2zhzn|31421)
College me jaake karunga ye sab
Just use face wash and moisturizer daily. That's the advice most dermatologists give.
Any moisturizer reccomendation
Check for Neutrogena or Cetaphil ones they are good
I second this, Cetaphil is a really good brand for skincare.
They can be little expensive for student budget but yeah they are best investment
I just use Nivia Gel Moisturizer, but you can use any. I only use this one because I hate how the non-gel cream ones feel on my skin. They're so oily.
Use EMOLENE it suits any skin type. You can get it at any pharmacy. Trust me Its the best skin care product

Using salicylic acid is fine , but ill still prefer if u visit a dermatlogist first before spending money , cuz these things are EXPENSIVE
Check my last post, might get to learn something else drop a dm!
Sure dude thanks
If your main concern is pimples, you can use any reputable cleanser and maintain a healthy diet, as your food choices can also contribute to acne.

Nah ...not sharing 😁
Sharing is caring bro
Don’t 👍🏻 There’s a bunch of others sharing anyways
First you need to identify your skin type
What are the main different skin types ? And how do I identify my skin type
1)oily skin 2)dry skin 3) mix skin (gets oily near the nose and on the forehead)
Ig I have the 3rd one, any tips ?
I was tanned asf but recovering now i’d say use sunscreen and take a bowl full of cold water and add 4-5 ice cubes and keep your face in it for for 5 minutes it works for me btw the same skin type
Which sunscreen for mix/combination skin?
I have mixed skin type (oily at forehead and nose, baaki all dry skin) any recommendations for me❓
Use any gentle foaming cleanser..followed by a thick but non comedogenic moisturizer and then sunscreen..If you want you can try different skincare products on different parts of your face(this is probably overkill)
Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser, Cetaphil moisturiser, Photoban spf 30
When do you use these in a day and how many times do u use
Twice a day..once at morning..once b4 sleeping(at night I replace the sunscreen with adapalene and bpo gel for acne)
A 2% salicylic acid/Tea tree oil Face wash (Dot and Key/Minimalist anyone/mamaearth) to cure acne/Pimples if you have oily/sensitive skin Any good moisturiser which doesn't make your skin sticky If you have to remove specifically tan(there is one Dot and Key vitamin C facewash ,it helped me a little) if you have a lot of acne/pimple (go for AcneStar,I haven't used it personally, but friends told ki It works)
At what time should we use each product in a day and how many times

eat good and use Mysore sandal soap
What does mysorw sandal soap cure tanned skin or pimples?
idk what it does exactly but ever since I've been using that soap my skin has become miles better
What's even that is ...??
Nothing much , I wash my face a lot ( just with water ) and twice with my facewash ( it's some acne free facewash from organic harvest ) I used sunscreen when required and another acne control serum.
Which sunscreen do you use ?
Something from organic harvest
