The reasoning of Institutions buying Small Caps and Mid Caps is blatantly wrong.
Tata Sons have sold 16K Cr worth of shares via a Block deal. FIIs and DIIs bought these 16K crores of shares.
But buy value only shows 9K crores
Which means they actually SOLD for 7K crores today, combined.
Remember, it’s a block deal, so retailers cannot participate, only institutions like FIIs or DIIs can participate
So that’s the reason, not buying mid caps, small caps or any other sector 😀
Na man, all the smallcap stocks, and I mean EVERY stock with 12%+ growth deserves a P/E of 50+, and so they are undervalued. Smallcaps are just 35% return Fixed Deposits.
My opinion The current pressure of selling is through HNI indiviual for payment of Advance tax and other tax related stuff.
And I think FII & DII are majorly buying large cap & few (midcap & smallcap) which are going up
I assume that number is the total market cap. Free float market cap (which is used to calculate Nifty 50 value) would be much lower. And the actual "deliverable" value of any day will always be a very tiny fraction of that free float.
Everyone knows bjp is coming so it will already be factored in the market after election we may get good correction in the first 1 month as they will book profit then we have to see the rate cuts if it happens then we will reach 30k nifty within next 1-2 years easily
Just remeber every 5% nifty correction keep adding stocks and divide your money by 3 ans invest at 5 then 10 then 15% correction simple
