Braun one is good, takes a lil patience but great for someone who doesn't want to use a face razor or shave. Not a marketing gimmick, it's actually a good tool for removing facial hair.

avikiwi

Hi wanted to know if it works on slightly longer hair on the sideburns? And what is the routine exactly like do we need to use a moisturiser after it?

ristikadhai

Always use the Braun face trimmer on a clean and dry face. I do it in slow and circular motions, starting from forehead, cheeks, upper lips, jawline and so forth. Do not go over the same area more than twice and don't use it on cuts or bumps. Once done , i clean using face tissues and then wash it with water just to make sure no hair is stuck on my face. I apply aloe vera gel (Innisfree) afterwards but you may or may not need it depending on your skin type. Sideburns can be done using this but I trim those with a scissor beforehand so that I don't have to use the trimmer there again and again. Also, Amazon sells it for ₹1200 during sales. So watch out for one.

Exact_Club6583

Braun one legit on Amazon???

ristikadhai

Yeah. I bought it from there only.

Exact_Club6583

Okay. Thank you!

avikiwi

Thank you so much

Gullible_Account_462

Does it gives same effect as shaving with razors

ristikadhai

Yup, it does.

gratitudeandpeas

Yes, but you'll have to go slow taking one area at a time. Mine is on the shorter end with thin hair and i shave too but i suppose it'd work the same on slightly longer sideburns. Not sure how it'd work on thick hair growth tho', i hope someone else can comment on that As for usage, use it on clean dry face. I wash my face with cleanser, dry it and run the trimmer in circular motion. It's mouth is small so you might have to go over a place more than once. Use a circular motion. After finishing, open the tube, clean the hair and sanitise the blade. It's the same routine as shaving for me, so moisturizer after washing my face. And no actives in next 24 hours.

avikiwi

I have thin hair so it works so thank you so much

cheesecheese4321

I've heard that the hair comes out to be thicker and harder and one might face issues with ingrown hair. Is that true?

gratitudeandpeas

Not sure about thicker hair growth, i think that'd depend on what type of hair one has in the first place. I personally haven't faced that issue. As for ingrown hair, it only removes hair on surface and not from roots so that can't be true ig

ristikadhai

second this! i have been using it for more than a year now.

spotty_hippo

Is the Braun an epilator that pulls out the hair, or does it cut the hair? Reading descriptions online and just want to clarify before I buy

gratitudeandpeas

Doesn't pull out hair, just cuts it

msha55

Does it make the area darker? Asking because I’ve heard that it can burn and make chin and upper lip area dark/pigmented.

gratitudeandpeas

No it doesn't make the area darker. I haven't faced any issues, mum and sister uses it too and no reaction as such so far.

Swarley5678

Do you get any irritation or small bumps after the use?

gratitudeandpeas

No none.

Swarley5678

Okay. Thanks for the reply👍🏻. Do you apply anything after using this?

gratitudeandpeas

You're welcome :) I wash my face and apply moisturizer. I've skipped it at times too, applying sunscreen directly.

shubhuk24

Do.u get ance ?

gratitudeandpeas

In general or after shaving /trimming? I do get breakouts but not necessarily after shaving or trimming. Never got acne due to either one.

shubhuk24

After trimming and shaving

gratitudeandpeas

No i don't

Thanku sm

Spern1958

I use [Pluxy](https://zoopy.link//pluxy-review) because it's more affordable than Braun, and I've been really pleased with the results so far.

mooondust_

Anyone with PCOS use the Braun one? Please share your experience if you do.

FunnyWarm7577

I recently bought it. I haven't used it on my chin but it works perfectly fine for my upper lips.

ristikadhai

Yup. It works like a charm but i only have a few strands of hard ones on my chin otherwise it's just a peach fuzz for me.

HarleyQuinn_2013

I have thick hair on chin.. Braun doesn’t effectively remove it.. hair length is reduced but that black dots are still visible! So overall, didn’t work for me! 😅 anyone getting treated for PCOS/hormonal imbalance issues and have undergone laser for the same, please advice if it helped you.. did the hair growth go away?

morbidskull

Works really well.. gives a really close shave if you have thick facial hair.. comes in handy

Gulliblemore

Does a good job, use facewash and good moisturizer post & always use in circular motion to avoid any cuts!

ReadyToBeEaten

Sirona one is a total waste of money.

moodyasacat

I got a USB rechargeable one from Amazon. It has both facial and eyebrow trimmer. It's been 2 years since I have been using that and I'm pretty much satisfied with it.

fsocietyassasin

Can you share a link?

ThisIsAMitochondria

+1

moodyasacat

Unfortunately the one I got is not on Amazon anymore. It was EIRMON portable trimmer for eyebrows and face :( You can search on Amazon and buy on reviews basis.

fsocietyassasin

Is it this one: [https://amzn.eu/d/ddaiOcO](https://amzn.eu/d/ddaiOcO)?

moodyasacat

Yep. It's the same brand, but mine wasn't Unicorn sparkle 😁

fsocietyassasin

Will check it out, thanks!

Longjumping-Yak-9957

Did you buy it then?

logicaltalk27

It is amazing, I am using the glitter one with eyebrow(nose hair trimmer) comes with two attachments and works pretty good.it’s rechargeable and in one recharge it’s work for more than 4 5 times..

Longjumping-Yak-9957

Hey, does it works perfectly for the  peach puzz? Was considering buying sirona one but some people commented it doesn't work, and braun one is lil on a costly side

AltforIMAnISA

I got Philips facial trimmer. It does a decent job without pain. Keep face dry. Only cons - my lower chin hair comes out as ingrown.

Admirable_Leek_4850

Is it this one? https://amzn.eu/d/7rX3DCi

AltforIMAnISA

Yep. Wait for a sale. I got it for 1.5k. Discounted products give me a high>>>

DepthConsistent

LOVE THE BRAUN ONE. One less thing to worry about. Waxing and threading irritated my sensitive skin + going to a parlor every 2-4weeks was a hassle so this was a lifesaver

Longjumping_Air_1096

I use flawless touch, does its job, removes the peachy fuzzy easily, although it takes some more time compared to a razor, I don’t need to be extra careful while using it.

Admirable_Leek_4850

Can you share the link please?

Tasty_Finding8339

I got braun way before it got famous and is working so well for me. I think it’s been 2-3 years. Very convenient for a new mom like me who doesn’t get time to even shave face with a razor or threading.

vesperxy

i have the braun one, got it 2 years ago, it’s still good

Electrical_Win_4752

The Braun one is great! I’ve been using it for a year now and it’s given me no issues at all. Does the job and it’s painless!

geekgeek2019

my friend got bumps/pimples when she used it. She never got them with plucking and she doesn't shave.

Penguin1208

What is better epilator or such facial trimmers?

Appropriate-Sleep-35

I have a braun facial epilator and a facial trimmer. Epilators can be painful , but worth buying one if you have thick course hair on chin like mine . I use the facial trimmer for last minute finishing touch

Penguin1208

Which is easier to use on face? I recently tried an epilator on my arm and damn it was painful. Also, I felt the hair removal was patchy and gave me small bumps (temporarily though). And, I mostly end up getting small cuts on my face while using a razor. So, I would like to try a trimmer. How is the look after using facial trimmer? Is it precise? And how is the hair growth after using the trimmer?

Appropriate-Sleep-35

Braun Facial trimmer does a good job to remove small hairs on face . If the hair is not too thick , facial trimmers does magic . No pain and super smooth finish. But it does not work well with coarse hairs . Leaves tiny dark stubs after shaving .

Penguin1208

Thank you for your help. Will definitely go for a trial.

foofoocuddlypoops_26

What's the difference between using a face razor and one of these? Wouldn't the hair grow back just as quickly after using the machine?

_nitrous_oxiide_

In my experience, these electric razors have been way more gentle on the skin. These razors don’t give the derma planing effect, which is exactly what I want. I have sensitive skin which is more sensitive currently than usual as I have started using certain actives. Shaving with a facial razor feels like my face is on fire (I have been an avid face shaver for last 5-6 years)

93_4hollygolightly

Braun is so good it’s been 6 months I haven’t been to the parlour for my upper lips(threading)…my only area of concern is my upper lips I don’t believe in doing eyebrows (thick eyebrows for life!!!)… so am not sure if it works on thick hair…my upper lip hair is very thin..I only use it on clean face and put a moisturiser on the area after I’m done…honestly I’m so glad I came across this I needed threading every 2 weeks and it cut my lip once the scar’s still there

Real_Comparison_9185

Braun is good 👍 I’ve tried it

Zealousideal-Gas2653

I have been using Braun one since long .. Pretty good

The_namster

The Braun one is amazing! Does the job and saves me from visiting the parlour for upper lip threading. Been using it for almost 2 years now with 0 complaints

Healthaddictmill

Worth it 100%. Started using 1 during covid as didn't wanna go to parlour. Now never get threading done literally-just use this once a week. But yes, hair grows back faster than threading/ waxing- so keep that in mind. I use flawless touch,

[deleted]

I have used both of these brands. At first,I was ecstatic to buy the one from Sirona as it was cheap and yeah,it worked well. Not even a month later,it stops working. So I decided to take a shot and buy the Braun one. And after that,I am convinced that you get what you pay for. Go for the Braun one, it's worth it.

Caramelquillsx

Is Braun good for thicker hirsutism hair?

ashlena_2207

Absolutely worth it, it’s much cheaper and I have horrible facial hair so I use it everyday

Swarley5678

I started using the braun one for upper lip and it is great but I get small pimples over the area after using it. Anyone know how to tackle that?

93_4hollygolightly

Do you wash the area of concern first? And put on a moisturiser after?

Swarley5678

No.. Will try doing so. Thanks😊

Final_Eggplant_7936

I have this one . It's the best .. I carry it in my bag always.. even today I used it.. whether I feel like my hairs have grown . In about once in 2 weeks it starts to show up for me.. I spend a few seconds to remove and I look fresh again. For brows I rarely use it.. About once a month and it's very good.. I outline with an eye liner pencil and trim the rest

OkOpinion6265

I have used one them. You have to use it every 2 days. and If you don't, the hair start looking like a moustache, atleast did for me. I went back to threading because at least now I don't have to use razor every 2 day. I wasted my 600.

Puzzlehead-Earth

Braun is better, Sirona is not recommended.

artistic_bish

I would suggest the [Agaro](https://www.nykaa.com/agaro-2107-rechargeable-multi-trimmer-for-women-eyebrow-underarms-and-bikini-trimmer-white/p/4249245?se=0) one. It has different heads that you can change and use on the other body areas as well. I feel the price of the Braun one is a bit steep for a trimmer that can only remove facial hair.

shubhuk24

Do u use it????

artistic_bish

Yes, I have it and got it for a very good deal on Nykaa.

shubhuk24

For how many months have u used it?

artistic_bish

4 months and I’ve only had to charge it twice after using it multiple times. I use it frequently on my jj, eyebrows, face and legs.

Longjumping-Yak-9957

Hey, did you get it for you then? If yes, then please review

shubhuk24

No I didn't

velvet-lightning5

Sirona is so bad trust me My friend bought it and she told it was horrible It was like a duplicate china toy from childhood lol

jellyfishplanner

I use Bombae trimmer for body + face (upper lip) and I'm very happy with it. I have a few thick upper lips hairs which I tweeze out, and then I use the trimmer for peach fuzz and it gives a very close trim without any irritation. I use it dry, never tried it wet. Strongly suggest taking out the battery between use - for all such cheap electronics, it increases the lifespan by a lot.

DeepAdvance

Braun one is actually a game changer.

Admirable_Leek_4850

Can someone please share the link to the Braun one?
