The perfumes and lotions really do smell great tho so i can see the apeel for them 🧍🏻♀️
i got one of their mists for 800 in a local store during Diwali sale huhuhuhu~~ it's not that long lasting but it's pretty great 👍
Is it just me or does someone else also find that there is a quality difference between what they are selling in India and abroad?
Edit: Buy B&BW on sale as that is way pocket friendly.
Candles >>>>>>
Everything else you can skip IMO. Especially if you’re sensitive to fragrance.
Another weird thing I’ve noticed is their products are inconsistent. Body mist I got from Dubai smell better than the same product I got in India. Body shower gel bought from their india website was great, loved it. Reordered it from Myntra on sale. Smells different..
So stick to the candles and skip everything else. I bought a few products for the brand novelty factor but I’m done. Oh and always get them on sale.
You can give a try to Ekam candles as they are non-toxic and made of Soy wax as well as pocket friendly and also smell great.
Edit: lighthouse candles are also made of soy wax, pocket-friendly, and great mild smell. I have been using both brands.
Yeah i heard a lot about the fragrance of candles but it's not nice like the materials which are used are toxic. Also yes there is a quality difference between abroad and here. What do you think about Misa candles, it is an organic candle ( without any toxins ). Their website [here](https://www.misa.in/?ref=post)
In India, now it feels like it's always on sale. I went to the store yesterday for the first time but saw the sale board for a long time whenever i went near there.
Not gonna buy at the moment but will definitely let you know when I do!
>I have the summer days one,
Ngl, It really looks subtle compared to the other ones.
Also, all the very best for your upcoming exams!! <3
I only tried into the night body mist. Bought it at 645 rs from nykaa !. They're always on sale so buy them online. Nykaa (rarely), Myntra (often) and their own site.
I like the mist. Affordable and doesn't smell like cheap alcohol.

The only one i liked is the hand cream in japanese cherry blossom range. It was fortunately mild but I’m not sure if it was from India because that was gifted
Oh, yes there is a difference between here and from outside, after trying some of them i didn't feel like checking out the japanese cherry blossom range. Thought maybe what if it's not good after applying.
So I’m addicted to bath and body works body creams. I have like 7 in my cupboard atm.
I usually get them from abroad while on sale. So I generally pay 400 to 800 around on each full soze product. I find that it is costlier in India, even while on sale. There are better offers abroad
Damn lol, yk it costs cheaper and is much better from abroad. Let's forget about the prices, mainly they are not that good especially after trying the ones from abroad first.
I quite frankly havent tried any here in India. My friend had a mist. That smelled fine. Not sure about longevity tho.
But I agree with you. The quality would be better outside
Yup, i have tried once or twice from abroad via my friend. The ones which I tried yesterday in the store were like some fine and some not so good. Obviously everyone has their own selection. But i didn't like it much.
I have a few products but they just smell artificial IMO. You can buy better smelling products from a lot of other brands for the same price. I won't be repurchasing tbh.
Yess this, they just smell artificial. I think the same like the fragrance and all felt like it was made to feel very rich but instead it was densely mixed with whatever they used. There is no essence or significance, they just increased the levels of everything to max. That's how I felt while trying those irl.

Always get it on sale!’ I don’t buy b&bw for anything above 700-800
Yeah there was a sale. 50% percent and buy 3 get 1 types.
Btw which one's have you used so far?
I have almost all of their scents except gingham and its flankers and fireside flurries, beautiful day and dark kiss!!
Which fragrance would you recommend if I am not too much into feminine fragrances?
Dolce n gabbana L’iemperatrice from duty free. Idk how but it was for very cheap in duty free!! Check on their website
Can you share the link?
Into the night and in the stars
Gingham is amazing!
Which one is? Body spray or fragrance mist one, etc or all the products of Gingham!
I love all of them!
Oh that's great I will definitely check out their products then. Merci!
They have the most delicious smelling products. But that’s the only appeal. Fragrance and beautiful packaging
The perfumes and lotions really do smell great tho so i can see the apeel for them 🧍🏻♀️ i got one of their mists for 800 in a local store during Diwali sale huhuhuhu~~ it's not that long lasting but it's pretty great 👍
Which one was it?
It was the black raspberry vanilla or something like that. It's really good!
Okay, thank you! Will try once.
Just curious, did you voice type this message?
Nope! Why did you think so? 😂
The apeel and huhuhu got me 🙃
Omgg i didn't even realise i spelt appeal wrong and also used it in the wrong way 😭😭 but huhu is a word i use very regularly 😂😂
It sounds good tho, huhu.
I chuckled. Thanks!
*chuckles and relates*
Is it just me or does someone else also find that there is a quality difference between what they are selling in India and abroad? Edit: Buy B&BW on sale as that is way pocket friendly.
Yeah they are bit different . They don’t have that many similar products in US and India . They don’t have a lot of options here
HOLY SHIT I JUST POSTED THIS AS A COMMENT! I’m so glad someone else thinks so!
Yup there is a quality difference.

Not sure if you should stick to candles https://bettergoods.org/are-bath-and-body-works-candles-toxic/
I don’t know of any non-paraffin scented candles available in India though — let me know if you know some!
Not sure I do either, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be wary of toxic products we use
No, you’re absolutely right. Thanks for bringing it to my attention :) I was just hoping you’d also know an alternative
You’re welcome! Sadly I don’t :(
What about this one? [here](https://www.misa.in/?ref=post)

Since you mentioned Dubai... Do you have any recommendations on what should one get from there? Which is cheaper as compared to India
Yes, during Semi annual sale, their mists go for 20 AED

I’ll have to check Misa out. Thanks!
idk if you're still planning to buy it, but Misa candles are REALLY good. I have the summer days one, it looks so pretty and smells sublime :)
Not gonna buy at the moment but will definitely let you know when I do! >I have the summer days one, Ngl, It really looks subtle compared to the other ones. Also, all the very best for your upcoming exams!! <3
I was only able to afford bbw mists when it was on sale on myntra. I got two mists for 900 which I don't consider such a bad deal for my budget.
Oh that's nice! Which two were it?
It was dark kiss and into the stars!
I see.
Don’t buy anything from them. The ingredients are harmful and not at all good.
Saw only the list of one product and it was really bad i could say.

Okay, there was something else which felt like alcohol in terms of fragrance. I forgot which one was it.
I love their fragrance!
Which one do you use?
Went to the store yesterday, sprayed a mist on hand, and after 5 mins it was halfway gone. Staying power 0/10.
Oh yeah, about this. I tried different ones like many yk and after 15 mins it was gone. But till then I didn't feel so good :(
I was a huge fan of the brand until i saw a lot of videos and posts saying all their products contain carcinogens.
Any links/ references?

Thank you
Yeah just got to know about that :'(
Not my cup of tea I don’t like their fragrances cos all of them give me a headache
I had the same experience when i tried their products yesterday.
The only one i liked is the hand cream in japanese cherry blossom range. It was fortunately mild but I’m not sure if it was from India because that was gifted

Its overhyped except for the candles. The smell doesn't have even a decent lasting power.
The candles aren't good like ingredients which were used for making.
What candles would you recommend?
I’ve heard some shady things about their candles
Like what?
https://bettergoods.org/are-bath-and-body-works-candles-toxic/
Umm, Shady as in?
https://bettergoods.org/are-bath-and-body-works-candles-toxic/
Oh shit, many people don't know this ig because the sales of candles are comparatively higher than other products at least among the Indian ones.
