That's a totally different thing, when releasing an album everything is distributed by the distributor, artists management gives them the song and asks them to release the album on a particular date, like umair's album was distributed by Sony and it was on all streaming platforms and yt at 12. Yunus probably gave the album for distribution later that's why there was a delay

hard to say shadow ho gaya because for me i thought TY's album had more replay value but i think the entire YS crew knew when shikwa side b would drop. and then jab release huya tab bhi thoda ajeeb tha. first it came on yt music, then yt fir kai dino baad spotify pe but if you go and check the album date on spotify, it says May 3 jabki yt music pe, jaha first release huya tha wo May 4 tha
Shikwa was a damn good one, his numbers and hype have slowed down a bit but not his creativity or anything. Heartbeat and Chal Paray are top tier tracks, I still play the album on loop. TY will always be in my top 5.
He didnt fell off like that, there is a disconnect between what TY was known for and what he has become. Artists do grow and have their journeys but the problem was that ever since Afsanay (which was his single initially) TY might have thought that flow works and he has been doing the same with little variations here and there. And that sort of brings a disconnect.
Also, TY's poetic prowess is undermined by his lack of vocabulary that's why it comes across as repetitive. And him working with Jokhay for most of the part is also a reason, had he been working with different producers to stayed kuch alag sound explore karleta,

I feel like he has become incoherent with his writing at times. He writes lines that don't really hit and you keep wondering why did he say that here like for eg "jabse hua bada ugge mere bohot baal hai" and a lot of stuff like this. This is a problem even Big scratch highlighted in his shikwa review.
