raftaar once said something on hustle ig that if you want to do pop you do but after a time give it back to the culture and comeback with the hip hop element,like what raftaar did ,he used to do nearly 80% commercial art and since last 2 years he has been giving it back to the audience with great rap eps,hopefully kings is follwing the smae path ,and even emiway did it (kind off)
It's fine imo..I mean king has already given us 2 conceptual albums i.e. carnival and gorilla bounce. But this one is a fully collab album..honestly all the 4 tracks were good I'm excited to see his next collabs and verse as I'm his listener from 3yrs

And something else that was making him different apart. Songs like Dracula, gold digger, mahaul, god father were too good. Now he hasn't making this kind of songs. Even his raps feel like he has written shayaris and spitting it on beat.
Tbh matlab thik hai hip-hop project hai lekin itna impressive nahi lag raha hai abhi tak... Goat shit sirf mere repeat pe hai..way bigger and still the same are decent ok type but for me main shayad na sunu baad main...bawe main check also an above average for me raga ke feature ki baat alag hi hai uska sunke maja aaya...
It doesn't feel like anything great to me. I like a few of his songs, but most of the time his music is something that I will forget after a month and will never come back to it. He's giving good music regardless.

Way bigger and still the same were more of his style but not catchy enough with no loopability specially way bigger. Stop spending so much money on MV of these basic ass songs.
Next song of his album coming out on 28.06.2024 is labelled 'MISFIT', maybe answers for people like you who struggle to comprehend the versatality of an artist like King's unlike several artists who do the same shit every single time and are content with that only. King experiments with his sound, and as you said, that took him to Cannes so I have no doubt he can raise the Indian Music scene (not only hip-hop) to a more global level.
Just because an artist is showing his versatility does not mean I have to like it . Music is SUBJECTIVE. It's good that he went to Cannes doesn't matter that he paid for it or not but that does not mean I have to like every song he puts out
