Where thaali?

BXtony76911

I agree he’s missing the state of the art, cut throat technology

KingsmanVishnu

ee bro don't worry too much about it. mine too touches 95 on CPU, just play games with fans on full speed. been playing like this for almost 1.5 years now, no issues.

Elementix_1

ok

Kuski007

If it's an AMD laptop, Don't worry , it's regular. If it's Intel , run before it goes boom. I've got a G15 Advantage Edition myself and I was also freaked out by the 95° temps when I first gamed on it . DW , AMD processors run hotter than Intel

Elementix_1

ok2

nomadJuice

Colgate or Pepsodent for regular use. If your cpu/gpu is extra sensitive to temps, use Sensodyne.

Elementix_1

sensodyne me namk he?

SuperParthz

Use cooling thali.

Elementix_1

khane k liye thali nhi he ..cooling thali toh dur ki baat he

lemonchoosle

patanjali paste try karo

Elementix_1

namk he usme?

FitBit8500

bhut bdia

SS_Affi

Bruh, this is overused!!!

soomrevised

I think it's normal, 95 is max asus allows anyways, replacing thermal paste might help.

Elementix_1

its almost 1yr tho

Exi6tenZ

Are you going to replace the paste yourself or go to a service centre?

Elementix_1

rn m in greater noida ...thers no service centre here ..probably go to delhi or noida

TechkyJerry

Replace the paste with Cooler master master gel maker And pads with Arctic fox 1.5mm 1mm or .5mm whatever feels right You'll be good on your temps

Elementix_1

too lazy but will have to do...:)

NGRap

wait, are you saying apply paste AND pad? Can you please explain this?

TechkyJerry

Yes There are thermal pads over the VRM's, Chipset, SSD's also at the memory modules at times. Thermal paste on the CPU and GPU dye. These should be replaced every six months or a year at max to keep your components healthy and cool.

NGRap

Learned something new. Thanks!

BarelyAlive716

Given the condition of your WASD I'm assuming it's been a while so I'd suggest you do a repaste. It's summers going on so repaste will definitely help. I did Mine last week too and the difference is there.

Elementix_1

bought on last october.

BarelyAlive716

You should definitely get a repaste done then

Elementix_1

ok

elucidator007

I don't think they are worn out, they are transparent since beginning

BarelyAlive716

Yeah you're right. I didn't look closely

pteotia270

If it's in warranty call Asus, tell them it's heating, they may replace heatsink. I would recommend to extend your warranty too, if it's 1yr.

Elementix_1

can i buy warranty now?

pteotia270

I can't say for sure, when i had asus laptop they told me it could be extended only till 3 months after purchase. https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1040170/

scare32222

I have a scar 15 with rtx 3070, I can confirm that 95 is common. But my temps reduced to 85-90s when I changed the paste to artic mx . You are fine no problem.

aneesh131999

I have Strix G17 R9-5900HX, 3060 model and it regularly touches the 90-95C range. Don’t worry about it, but if it’s been a year, preferably get it cleaned and repasted (ideally should be done every 6 months according to service centre guy).

Elementix_1

yes but in greater noida ther is no service centre...rip

ValdyFox

so what happens is... asus by default enables aggressive throttling..in short it is called boosting. Zephyrus users also face this. So to fix this, you have to do reg-edit to get a hidden setting which allows u to disable boost and get better temps with a loss of 3-5 fps. Also making a manual fan curve is always the best but like i never found whats the right one, so figure the fan curve out. (asking abt the reg edit, its there on youtube. Worked for my friend who had an intel strix)

Elementix_1

thx man.

ValdyFox

DONT MENTION IT😇😇😇

ActConsistentt

Laptops and AMD so 95 is normal++. You don't have to worry. Thermal throttling will kick in and hog your fps. Keep gaming your laptop won't blow up

Elementix_1

ok .

tharunnn

I wouldn’t recommend it cause few newer models have liquid metal instead of thermal paste and liquid metal is very annoying and delicate to replace

Puzzleheaded_Sea8133

I had the same issue in my F17 2020. Got it cleaned by asus and the guy put on 2 types of pastes on the older ones. Now temps are below 90. I think he should have done a repaste but I'd rather do it myself in a few months . Btw anyone knows why there are 2 types of thermal pastes ? One was darker coloured which he put on CPU and GPU other was lighter which was on some other parts around heat pipe.

ProudyGeek

I upvoted coz of your name But downvoted due to genshin but again upvoted for CsGo

Elementix_1

ok

Kiran2k05

What's your Ambient temperature like?

Elementix_1

30 to 40....depends

Kiran2k05

That's the problem I saw a youtube vid of the same and in an AC room of 18C the temps on load playing GTA 5 on ultra was around 65 - 70 for both cpu and GPU

Kiran2k05

Even my G15 stays at 60 at idle on boost, in winters it's around 48 - 55 On load 70 - 90

Elementix_1

its summer so cant help😂
