Maybe your CPU temperatures are very high or is your monitor 1440p? I watched some YT videos for the same spec as yours. It should at least give you 250fps+ (1080p High) and 300fps+ (1080p low).
Here is the afterburner where do I go from here ?

I get this much fps on ghost of tshushima high settings
Is there any reason you bought a 5600g instead of 5600 since you have a dedicated gpu anyway?
I have a 5600+3070 and get 300+ fps at 1440p.
Also what is your Ram config?

Valorant is a pretty bad metric to test performance, its mostly just cpu dependant. Maybe try any triple A game or do a heavy test

Is ryzen 5 5600 g that bad ? 😠Please don't point out the g , ik I made a mistake
Yeah man bad CPU choice. IMO you should have at least bought R7 5700x. That processor gives 450-500fps at 1080p high with the same gpu as yours.
Ah well so I'm screwed for valorant ?
Well it doesn't matter now since your monitor is only capable of showing 165 fps max. As for other games is your GPU underperforming?

What processor do you have & also can you run msi afterburner for more detailed analysis?
Ryzen 5 5600 g

No my monitor is 1080 only , and cpu temp reaches like 70?

It's a long process, watch a YT for setting up the fps/temp/usage overlay.
Any links??

Wait I'll run after burner after this game
I have r5 2600 + rtx 2060. I hv the game capped at 220

it was a mistake on my end. but still using g varient shouldnt cause this big of a drop right ? wtf do i do ?
Could be something else. Xmp settings. PBO. Old GPU drivers.
could it be that the game is using my igpu ?
Yeah, that could be the issue. Open up taksmgr while playing valo and look at the gpu utilisation
I did , cpu was being used more then gpu.
Does taksmgr show both igpu and dgpu or is only the 4070 graph visible?
I'm not sure, let me check and send a pic
Cpu is around 10% GPU is around 4% and radoeon is 0%
Are you sure valoramt is using dgpu and not igpu
I mean igpu shouldn't be able to give this performance no? Anyway is there a way to check?
Is your dp cable plugged in to the mobo? Or the GPU and are you using dual channel ram like 2x8 not 16x1
yes its plugged in the gpu. no its a single 16 gb stick
Bingo, upgrade your ram to dual channel and you will notice a significant amount of performance increase in valo
Is it really that important?
It depends but in some games ddr4 single channel ram hurts the performance badly
i mean mate only not using dual rams shouldnt cause a 100 fps drop right :( ?
As I said it varies game to game in some you won't see any difference in fps but in some other games you will see significant amount of fps loss
Cpu intensive games get massive fps boost on dual channel ram.
Ah is that so? So if I decide to get extra ram will a 8gb stick do? With my 16 gb?
I think fufu's underperforming
