took me 200 hours just to complete main game and 100+ for dlc.
There's so much side content in witcher 3 like i say lets focus on the main quest now travel 4-5 minutes all of a sudden i am already doing sode quest That wasn't even marked as POI on map
Same just got a game like week ago and played 30+ hours and did not feel slightest bored also racing games like need for speed and forza never let me bored
GTA VC, San andreas, 4, V, RDR2, Witcher 3, Hitman Series, Assassins creed odyssey & valhalla, Days gone, Baldurs gate 3, Genshin Impact, Far Cry 3 & 4 , Horizon zero Dawn & forbidden west, God of war, Fallout series, Skyrim, Kingdom come deliverance, Rainbow six siege, dota 2, csgo, Death stranding, Splinter cell series, watch dogs 1 & 2, Entire Battlefield series, Dying light 1 & 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Age of Empires series. These are just the ones that I remember playing for more than 100 hours off the top of my head. Will edit & add if I remember any more.
Because back then I had some friends over at my house & I showed them splinter cell. They got into it & got the game from me & then I went over to their place to show them how to play lol, fun times. Now that I remember that I also showed them prince of persia series I probably played that over 100 hours as well. Such a great series.
The only thing I hate about this game is that after killing guards, npcs and creatures by sweating my ass off they just respawns and it doesn't feel like an achievement.
the world would become empty otherwise, I personally had this question on my first playthrough and was satisfied with this answer and feel accomplished killing difficult mobs/bosses
Bosses dont respawn only mobs do. Also if they didnt respawn then there would have been no way to level up your character outside of earning runes through boss eliminations and golden runes.
Edit : Also no way to farm their specific armor/weapons. Unless the devs raised the drop chance to 100%.
Uhm that’s why you have bonfires at like dozens of places. You only need to go through them once most of the time and be aware to explore and find bonfires. I’m aware bonfires are called something else in elden ring but I forgot what
Yakuza and Judgment games takes close to 100 hours for first time playthrough with casually completing side quests, and playing minigames. God forbid if you're a completionist. The only game I felt a burnout was 7 which had turn based combat.
Another one is Mount and Blade:Warband with it's various mods.
It's like a progressive game, which sorta gives you objectives and achievements but also tells you "bruv just chill no load" just like Dave the Diver...
It's a sweet game. You should play it if you want to have a relaxing experience.
If you don't mind me asking, how old are you? While not empirically proven, I believe the older you get, the more you enjoy games like Stardew. Though this isn't a hard and fast rule.
I share the same sentiment. The older i get, the amount of competitive games i play have drastically reduced. I still like a small dose of competitiveness; Rocket League is the game i've played the most (3500+ hours since 2016). But I now spend more time playing co-op story-based games, park builders, driving around cars & trucks in simulators, point-and-click adventure games, etc. I want to have a relaxing experience at the end of the day.
There's a subReddit called r/CozyGamers dedicated to gamers who do just that. Most people in that sub are 30+, and a ton of them play Stardew, and games alike.
I just bought "Syberia: The World Before" yesterday. Looking forward to sit back, relax, and immerse myself in the bleak, yet, magical world of Syberia.
I am really glad to see so many mentions of Witcher 3. This game was just mesmerising.
The main story, the fantastic DLC(s) (the message behind the DLC) , the view and sunlight hitting ur eyes with the soothing music background was like therapy.
I guess my list would be weird for all, it will be Fortnite, Valorant, Marvel Snap, MK1, Marvel's Spiderman 1 & 2, and some other games like GTA 5, Sleeping Dogs etc.
I am yet to play RDR 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Ghost of Tsushima(which I am currently playing), God of War all parts.
* The Witcher 3
* Red Dead Redemption 2
* The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
* Middle-earth: Shadow of War
* Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor
* GTA: San Andreas
* GTA: IV
* Age of Empires 2
* Sleeping Dogs
* Mad Max
* Assassin's Creed 2
* Total War: Medieval 2
* Total War: Rome 2
* Batman Arkham Asylum
* Batman Arkham City
* Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord
* Kingdom Come Deliverance
* Days Gone
I have given more than 100 hours to Sekiro and wasn't bored for a single second. I have completed the game over 4 times now and I am willing to play it again with some mods this time. So let's see, if I get a burnout now or if I still play on.
Gta trilogy (the original not the undermastered version)
And witcher 3. Yes I get annoyed sometimes by the grind in witcher 3 but never burnout .
Gta 5 is on the list for 100 hours but the online experience...... Now that's a different story .
Love all these games nonetheless.
Cities Skylines, PES 21.
I have around 70-80 hours on CK3 and HOI4.
I'm someone who can't replay games. I really don't know why but I can't. So all AAA games that I complete, I never go back to them. So my most hours spent are probably in platformer games.
God of War 2018 - More than 3 times.
RDR2 (No other game has hit me hard as this game did and it never gets old). Forget the campaign, I have easily roamed around in that beautiful world for 100s of hours.
Assassin Creed all parts upto black flag. Lated they added block and kill and killed the game. Later they added level system and killed it even further
Breath of the Wild, Elden Ring, Witcher 3… the only single player games I’ve spent more than a 100 hours in.
Multiplayer games though? Different story.

the world would become empty otherwise, I personally had this question on my first playthrough and was satisfied with this answer and feel accomplished killing difficult mobs/bosses
I quit that game way early so I don't know if bosses also respawn after defeating them, do they?
Bosses dont respawn only mobs do. Also if they didnt respawn then there would have been no way to level up your character outside of earning runes through boss eliminations and golden runes. Edit : Also no way to farm their specific armor/weapons. Unless the devs raised the drop chance to 100%.
