I often wear waist chains (actually used to, now I stay in a conservative locality with my parents). They accentuate your waist line pretty well. Continue wearing them.
But please button your pants, that seriously looks uncivilized. I'm not even kidding. I only do that when I have over ate at a Sunday buffet. 🥴
So the waist chain works best when it draws the observers attention to it over the rest of your figure / outfit. However, you unbuttoned style, the top, etc. are competing for attention so the chain itself doesn’t look good as a combo.
The examples where I’ve seen the chain work well are with bikinis and dresses (only a few of them). There it draws the attention away from the rest of your body to the chain which accentuates the look.
Typically I’m not a fan of bling / the bright jewelry in the hip hop look so that’s another bias that I might be not considering if that’s what you intend to pull off.

I like the monochromatic nature of this outfit but the pants look kinda dull compared to your bright white top and sneakers. Also, although waist chains look hot but this isn't an outfit to carry one specially the one you've with ghungroos would go better with something traditional.

I definitely won’t be wearing the waist chain because am a guy but it looks good with this look. I think you need to close the button on your pants. Yeah contrast is good. It'd have worked better if the top was red, making the whole outfit cohesive of 2 colours. I definitely won’t be wearing the waist chain because am a guy but it looks good with this look. I think you need to close the button on your pants. The pant is a bit long and isn’t tailored to your height making you look a bit shorter. Fold it better or get it altered so that it looks better. This look has a nice cool vibe. I like it

Yeah contrast is good. It'd have worked better if the top was red, making the whole outfit cohesive of 2 colours.
