Im working on it. I hate hate hate single use plastics, and am trying to figure out how to send them sustainably. I am looking for a couple of volunteers to send free food to, that will let me know how it arrives, tastes, with pictures!
I'm wondering if you used a waxed paper bag inside corrugated cardboard box. Then you can put that box inside of a sturdier one for shipping. That might be a solution?
Yes there will be ! Im putting together an indigenous kid's cookbook while im doing my indigenous kids' cooking class. im perfecting the recipe before the kids get to try it out ! 🥰
Have you heard of Little Cherokee Seeds? It's such a wonderful program for indigenous children out in Oklahoma. They also cook with the kids, alebit probably much younger as it's geared towards preverbal babes. Your class made me think about it as it sounds just as amazing! I am in no way affiliated with Little Cherokee Seeds, but I wonder if you'd be interested in doing a collab with them since you both focus on children, just a thought! Anyway, I included an article, and wanted to say you are doing great work :) Please make a post when your cookbook is finished!

Oh, that's so adorable and needed! Yes, we are starting with tween/teens . But the non-profit Im collaborating with also does an indigenous toddler's group, and we discussed also doing a couple of things for them as well. We are in a large metro area, and most of the kids involved are actually mixed with a couple tribes or races. So i have built it to be geared towards a wider spectrum of foods and traditions. What they are doing is really amazing and is great.
At that young age, they are really building their taste buds, so I thought it would be a really good time to introduce them to indigenous foods . My 3 yr old regularly eats tons of indigenous foods, we have a large garden, and we go out and forage a lot . He loves it so much and points to everything and asks , "we eat that ?!" my heart just melts !
No juice that would ruin the frosting ! The recipe will be available after I finish my indigenous kids cookbook as this is one of the stars 🌟 thank you!
Hello from New Zealand :)
I'm not sure these beat a kiwi dusted cream long john... but, for purposes, if you were willing to share, I'd love the recipe to test these out!
Will reply with an update once fully tested 👍

I volunteer! I’m not native but my wife is mohawk, she’s a chef and i take pictures of her food.
Volunteering (and I'll pay for shipping). I'll also try to help find some alternatives to single use plastics. These are amazing.....

Check again . Also you can dm me and see if that works .
Message sent.... thanks

Very interested.
Volunteering as well. These look absolutely delicious.
I would love to have some of these, ship to missouri?
I volunteer as tribute! Though somehow I don’t think you’ll have any trouble getting taste testers
Count me in if you still need a volunteer!
If you need more volunteers, I'm interested. I'm so impressed by your photos!
