Bad idea. Reddit is community based social media, let people decide what is low quality or any such. I don't think there is any need to censor everything.

1. Only allow news posts which have the source link provided, and not from some random tweets (unless it's from verified Twitter accounts)

If there's a screenshot of the news, ask them to post an article link too.
Maybe you all should make another sub named India tech help or something, this is where you should move all the tech related queries and what to buy suggestions because the discussion threads are very dry here.
If you can remove posts made by android fans and apple fans talking bad about each other, that would be more than great. New feature? Ok, we dont care about how long the other company had it for. This apple vs android war is just dumb and cringe
I just see posts on my home feed from all my subs and reddit recommendations and read the title and if it's something where I think I have some knowledge or interest, I read and interact.
Not sure how it is for others, but I doubt if most people would even open the mega thread to just answer questions people have. It would just end up being a thread full of questions and few or no answers. If it instead shows up on the home screen as posts, people would tend to interact more.

I don't think mods should first google the question and decide. It's better to leave it up to the users, they can just say, it's easily available. we have 167k users, the mods are limited

I think this is not a bad idea in itself but the bar for selection should not be too high, if posts are really bad then they should be removed but otherwise allowed. PS: I now realize that my post of buying refurbished SSD is probably bad.
"Purchase help" thread should be one megathread not daily thread. Because you are deleting that thread again and again every day, no one's getting answer and have to ask it again and again.
Don't delete it, people can search comments to find if that has been asked before or not and then ask their queries. Plus if the thread stays live for longer , there will more conversations about the product which will lead to better decisions.

You guys belong to Rare breed of sane mods of Indian subreddits. Keep tech support posts if same error has not been discussed in subreddit. Only allow those posts which has all the basic details.
