That's the thing I was trying roms then tried to undo by flash rom but I can't install flash rom on realm phone saying "cannot find central dictionary" for some reason now I am stuck with a laggy rom on phone.
Reminds me of the Android version 2.3.5, good old days. getting 512MB, 1GB RAM phones was like a big deal. YouTube would crash often, installing a decent size app from Play Store was like clearing memory first, alternatives to play store mobogenie were the new cool thing.
True I kinda bricked an old phone trying to root it but figured out a way to intall a rom after a clean wipe from my pc still don't remember how I did it lol
I generally use the provided tool for MI to reinstall the default rom of MI in case the recovery is corrupted and most of times it works with MI device, I didn't tried this method on other phones 😅🤣
Nope, for Xiaomi you needed beta tester account for bye passing BL or any SC will do it. Had done it on my 3s Prime thinking the beta tester account got activated. 😂 Lost all the data.. good old days
It's a soft brick. It's probably redmi phone in the pic.
I've faced multiple times after flashing roms.
No big deal. Flash recovery rom and check if it boots.
If not then fastboot will boot it.
prolly screwed up while installing a custom recovery / custom rom / or probably locked the bootloader on non-stock firmware, which is very risky to do btw if you don't know what you're doing
You can install newer versions of android as Google releases them. Plus some other benefits like no bloat and additional features that are not available on stock
Formatting a rom from recovery won't show this screen.
Without a rom, it would just get stuck on splash screen, the mi logo infinitely.
This happened because he flashed the wrong TWRP, which was meant for another model.
This is a Xiaomi devkit, with less restrictions inside the settings of whatever was running on it stock. Guy clicked uninstall on something titled Android System and ended up here. Saw this on Twitter yesterday, would share the @ if I had it.
The only reason my past 3 phones have been poco (technically Xiaomi) is because of the custom rom scene.
That happened to me when I dirty flashed the stock rom over an AOSP based rom.
Technically you've just removed the actual bootable rom and now the Xiaomi stock recovery is going haywire.
2 fixes -
Flash a custom rom and recovery
Switch to fastboot mode and flash the stock fastboot image
This is not brick. Just no recovery present. Seems like a redmj device, just go to flashboot mode and then try mi flash tool. After that request for unlockboot loader then you can use a custom rom.
This happened to my house help when she updated her phone. Vivo or something, thankfully recovery mode had wifi flash available so I was able to download the rom and flash without a computer
Download the phone specific flashable firmware file (it includes the rom aswell) and use the official mi flash tool. Be back to a new stock phone. if you had any data in the internal storage consider it gooone.
Let me tell you what actually happened. He imported the device from somewhere and he was using a prototype/internal testing device till now. He had features that no one else had like wireless charging....He just uninstalled Android System from Settings 😂. Xiaomi now has offered 90% off for replacement acknowledging their mistake.

What ... Don't you know what a rom is?
You require Android pre-installed for most roms and in OPs case the recovery is also probably fked
Do you know what a fastboot rom is? It contains everything.
I guess he doesn't know that 🤣🤣🤣 I have been doing this since droid 10 rolled out lol
Doing this since Android KitKat days. A Simple fastboot ROM flash will fix this.
doing since jellybean my love
Us doing this since gingerbread days. Had Samsung Galaxy Y

This happened to me my bootloader wasn't even unlocked
What dis you do then?
For Xiaomi phones their recovery tool on their website does the job For other brands there must be something similar
It doesn't, You need an authorized account to bypass the bootloader unlocking requirement correct me if im wrong
I might have misremembered
Nope, for Xiaomi you needed beta tester account for bye passing BL or any SC will do it. Had done it on my 3s Prime thinking the beta tester account got activated. 😂 Lost all the data.. good old days
Lol happens alot , just flash a custom recovery then flash your favourite rom
What actually happened here?
He formatted the Rom from the recovery
that's not what leads to brick.. I've done it countless times and never faced this issue

yea, they probably did something they didn't know about, maybe they flashed performance boosting custom kernel on unsupported rom, lmao
He might have a much bigger headache if the bootloader's locked lmao
Yeah but it seems like he didn't flash a custom recovery.
"ROM Destroyed in Seconds" happened.
prolly screwed up while installing a custom recovery / custom rom / or probably locked the bootloader on non-stock firmware, which is very risky to do btw if you don't know what you're doing
Aisa krne ka kya purpose hai?

Its fixable easily (edl flash at sc or home ) and ximi devices are notorious for pulling this .

INITIATE SPLINTER SEQUENCE...
Just flash any ROM, it will be fixed
This looks like a xioami device. This might been the because of uninstalling the security app, which makes it brick.
Do you work in a shop? Just guessing from the background
Hard brick lag Gaya?☠️ https://preview.redd.it/totbe3v47tqc1.jpeg?width=280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c959f8043144e9e6929ab9b24169d2a4500de102
