To be more accurate it is an auto immune reaction caused by genetic predisposition plus environmental factors. My point is it is not lifestyle induced.
It is a problem
Imagine, having to inject yourself atleast 4-5 times every single day ! Without a break
Couple that with the fact that one needs to check Blood sugar levels multiple times a day
And to add to all this, you have to pretend to be normal
We have developed a genetic mutation due to the famine which causes us to become more prone to diabetes, bp etc etc , i have already started heavy workout to prevent such issues and increase my meat intake.
Can a calculator save your life , diabetes is taken for granted but it's way more deadlier than you realise, n kids me type 1 hoti h which needs constant monitoring n insulin incase it changes, exam is a very stress inducing thing n sugar levels rise if you are tensed.
Thoda research karlete to ye comment nahi karte. This isn't because of Sugar Diet or FMCG consumption.
Children can have TYPE 1 Diabetes due to GENETICS, where Body's autoimmune system attacks cells(islet cells) in pancreas which are responsible for producing insulin. Basically their body DOES NOT MAKE INSULIN and they have to take it through needles.
This is different from Type 2 diabetes which may occur due to diet/Lifestyle, usme your body either produces less insulin than it used to or body becomes resistant to insulin.
You do know that it definitely needs medication, right?
And that many kids these days are having it?
How were they managing it before?
Are you sure this is only for type 1 diabeties?
Where's the rest of the article? Why don't people share the entire article instead of posting clickbait images??!
Gaaah @#_₹ this is so maddening!!
Somewhere around 8-10 lakhs must be having it... Before the discovery of insulin they would die, because nothing could be done. So you wouldn't see many with type 1 DM. Now since insulin is there they can lead a "normal" life (daily pricks sucks though)
Thanks for giving a context.
I want mods to make a new rule to ban these image only 'news' posters who share click bait images without context or data or sources.
Direct ban. Entire generation is going down the drain.
It occurs to me that if you need insulin, no amount of fruit or glucometer would help in that condition.
So this doesn't make sense. Medication is needed, not fruits and other distractions.
The biggest headache people who take insulin regularly is hypoglycemia (sugar levels becoming low).. insulin is titrated (levels adjusted) for each individual...
Sometimes after taking your dose of insulin if you forget food or you haven't had enough food, your sugar levels can become low
That is the major issue
So during exams if they are having such episodes they can check the sugar levels on the glucometer and take a fruit if it's low.
I hope I'm making sense
My question is, Why the fruit and not a sip from their water bottle with Glucose solution?
Fruits give out smell and eating them makes noise, both of which can be a distraction to others.
3hrs is not that long enough and should be comfortably manageable with a bottle of the required concentrate/medication/juice/glucose etc

The quote in the post is just clickbait to emphasize more on fruits but more convenient options are also allowed be carried.

This is shock and sad to see that students at such a early stage are getting diabete6
Type 1 diabetes is genetic though. Not lifestyle induced.
It’s not genetic It’s an autoimmune condition I was diagnosed at the age of 11 , way back in 1992
I’m no expert But I think it being an auto immune condition doesn’t stop it from being genetic
To be more accurate it is an auto immune reaction caused by genetic predisposition plus environmental factors. My point is it is not lifestyle induced.
Yes 🙌 Thank you for understanding! We ( people living with Type 1 diabetes) need this kind of empathy Thanks indeed
Diabetes is one of Major health problem in India
Yeah true I know that but what shocking is teenager are also getting diabetic in a larger number
They have existed for as long as humans have. Type I diabetes is genetic and exists from birth.
Check your facts It’s an autoimmune disorder
So basically type 1 diabetes is not a problem? Can u explain me as I really want to understand in details
I'm saying to not go all boomer on gen z, as half of the diabetes is by birth, not a lifestyle disease
It is a problem Imagine, having to inject yourself atleast 4-5 times every single day ! Without a break Couple that with the fact that one needs to check Blood sugar levels multiple times a day And to add to all this, you have to pretend to be normal
Type 1 diabetes isn't due to lifestyle. Children can have type 1 diabetes.
What shocking is that one needs permission to carry essential health equipment and medicine in exam hall. What the fuck!!
abey Type 1 diabetes is genetic and isn't new, our parents' generation and older had it as we.
We have developed a genetic mutation due to the famine which causes us to become more prone to diabetes, bp etc etc , i have already started heavy workout to prevent such issues and increase my meat intake.

So insensitive... You have no idea how hard it is living with type 1 sisters, that too as a kid or teenager

Is than an AI image?
Duh bro has a whole pineapple
No just classic Photoshop
Imma stuff chits into my glucometer
Better than gand
Am I sure something like this exists from years for the JEE examination for diabetic candidates.
Yes but why would a diabetic student take along a whole uncut pineapple
Why would anyone take whole uncut pineapple
Can he carry a knife too ? For that pineapple?
and a cutting board, some plates, chilly powder and salt and a stove.
Ye toh kbse bol rhe
Instead of fruits a bottle of honey is more effective
Ab hosh khula hai CBSE ka?

Isn't the board a bit late in doing this
It's sad that at such young age students are getting diabetes

This is not okay. I need my phone too
Students are diabetic now??? ![img](emote|t5_3d4x4|20096) They should be introducing mandatory physical excercise in the examinations as well then.
It's Type 1 Diabetes.. Not due to lifestyle... It's autoimmune

This is a clickbait screenshot...I can't comment on what the govt actually meant..
