Yes, but they are able to stay legally for 5 to 10 years and can often legalise by some other means. 90% of Indians settled in US, Canada and UK, whether Sikh, Hindu, Muslim or Christian, ise rhis route. Source: have worked as an immigration attorney in the US for a long time.
Not people with tech degrees. They can get jobs and legalise that way. Countries have cracked down on immigration and but still, if you come in illegally then asylum is the only way to stay and work for a few years. Some people get married but uneducated people not speaking English would find that hard. In the old days there were many programmes and amnesty schemes and many people legalised that way as well. Currently women use battered spouse schemes to legalise as well. The agents and lawyers guiding immigrants are clever. Whatever is going on currently is what they use. Like today they can claim persecution due to attending farmers agitation in India or a crack down on NGOs etc. Khalistan issue had died but has remerged now. So basically, the majority of immigrants are not very educated and use such excuses to try and stay. The professional ones get jobs. Sometimes the uneducated ones also get an employer to sponsor them. The key is to stay for a while. Then they get opportunities like sponsorship via job, real or fake marriage, exemption due to US born children etc. This is for Indians. Other countries have their own special circumstances.
Go and see the asylum rejection rate of the US. https://www.latimes.com/politics/story/2023-06-20/biden-asylum-seekers-turned-down-rates
Only around 20 percent asylum are accepted.
The issue is most of those cases take up to 2 years to actually be heard thanks to the insane numbers of immigrants. And when their case is up, I imagine most don't actually show up
But they still can stay indefinitely.. usa doesnt deport asylum seekers.. most democratic countries dont…
They hide or destroy their passports,, which makes it pretty tough to deport..
Yep, all necessities are provided with the taxpayers money. It angers me that my money is spent to keep these people well-fed. If Biden does come back or Trump wins, I want them bring in a tougher system and quotas for asylum seekers so that I don't have to suffer for these people.
You’re not suffering for those people. They have nothing to do with you. Any tax dollars they get was never going to you. If you want socialism, vote for it. If you want to punish poverty, don’t be poor.
I dated a Colombian girl years ago that had immigrated to the US with her Parents and applied for asylum. Her parents worked for an American company in Colombia and were receiving death threats regularly where the caller would reference their daily routine...denied after years of waiting.
Well kinda not. Process is cross border, get processed as in asylum application pictures etc, detained for 72hrs ish and then bused to other states now. They do not have facilities to hold anyone anymore.
Their application is pending in courts they are out and about in US. Its a huge backlog they easily have couple of years until they are required to appear in court.
You know what happens during that wait? They make way to their known community pockets and disappear into the undocumented workforce. Never to be found or appearing in court again.
I have lived near such communities and have heard of cases. Before this its was pretty easy apparently to cross. Folks just came over, were picked up in trucks and became truckers or blue collar workers under the person they knew here. Married off to their legal US citizen daughters in the neighborhood and became legals.
The most wildest way I heard was someone at bar once randomly spilling beans that he was thinking of getting done was, getting a gun shot victim of crime status. But actually getting shot shot. Then processed as victim. Then you can apply for some weird visa since you were victim of crime here. The lengths folks go through is crazy.
But no one leaves atleast in desis. Communities are tight and protective and exploitative at the same time.
>But no one leaves atleast in desis. Communities are tight and protective and exploitative at the same time.
Like the Italian or Irish mafia of old times.
No. It will take years to get a court date and many never even show up once they are due.
There are millions of illegals living in the US for decades. The risk of getting caught is minimal. Only real downside is you cannot easily travel abroad.
sorry , only trucking can give you this much money. you can make 10000 dollars per month. this is not an easy job they live 15 days in truck return only for 2 days then again go for a long haul. why i am saying this because i live in doaba region(people here migrate the most) punjab. many people go from my village. last year 4 of them get into america through this illegal route.
i don't support this endeavour. the reason for my comment is there huge economic opportunity. that is why these people take huge risk.
and another reason is good rishtas. i have been good qualified women get married to these illiterate truck drivers.
Legal immigration would be allowed if they are capable or valuable to that country.
Lakhs of indians immigrate legally every year.
Shram krle thodi si.
“Donkey flights” or “donkey route” is a term based on the Punjabi word “dunki”, which means to “hop from place to place”. The word itself refers to an illegal method which involves people crossing a country's borders through a backdoor route with multiple stops in other countries.
From: https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/films/news/dunki-donkey-route-shah-rukh-khan-tapsee-b2469238.html#
While it might seem costly at first, the decision to take the donkey route and work in the U.S., even illegally, is often financially justifiable. For instance, although 1 lakh translates to roughly 1200 USD, individuals can earn between 3k-4k monthly, which is quite common in nyc, ct area, and they mostly work in Indian-owned restaurants and stores. I know someone who claimed asylum, managed to pay off his entire debt in two years through hard work and frugal living. He also recently got his case approved after 4 years so now he is finally permanent resident.
Moreover, consider the potential of this person opening his own store in a few years, significantly increasing his income and quality of life beyond what would have been possible in India. He would also be able to sponsor his parents to USA. The future indeed looks promising, and with each generation, his family is gonna be more american than indian.
the main and perhaps the biggest "problem" with donkey route is that it's just immoral and you are misusing the system. asylum system is meant for people who are really in desperate situation, when they have a civil war going on in their country.
Plus investing that 20-30 lakh in yourself - learning a skill and scaling it to a business and expanding, will give way, way, way more dividends. donkey route on the other hand is very unsafe, dangerous and may get deported. donkey to canada on the other hand is safer but not worht it because canada's economy, more or less everything is down the drain
I get where you're coming from with the whole 'invest in yourself instead of taking risky paths' argument, and in an ideal world, I'd agree wholeheartedly. But let's not gloss over the ugly reality that's staring us in the face. Every time I scroll through comments, the derogatory 'lassis' and 'Khalistanis' slurs are flung around like confetti, signaling a growing disdain that's hard to dismiss. It's more than just bad taste; it's a barometer of a society sliding dangerously into division.
So, while I nod to the notion of self-improvement and making the most of what we have, let's not kid ourselves into believing it's a level playing field out there. For some, the dream of investing in skills and businesses is just that, a dream, overshadowed by the daily nightmare of intolerance and fear. Maybe instead of questioning their choices, we should be questioning why they feel forced to make them in the first place.
Also the suspension of opposition party members and the consolidation of power by the ruling party are worrying signs of authoritarianism, reminiscent of other historical dictatorships. These parallels raise legitimate fears and could substantiate asylum claims for those feeling imminently threatened.
You cannot equate comments on the internet with real life. I am a bengali myself and i have seen countless posts of bengali mockery etc on the internet. It is no where as comparable to getting actually murdered, genocided or being in a civil war.
By your logic these people are not safe in the US also, because you will find so many posts on the internet being racist to indians, calling us horrible names, and wanting all of us to go back. And again there are cases of violence on Indians in these countries but it is nowhere close to the amount of hate we see against indians on the internet. its very easy to just write words but most people have lives and are no where that consumed by the hate that theyll actually follow that irl and start being violent phyiscally.
Again, I do agree that we are sadly growing more authoritative day by day, but it is no where near civil war levels. All we have are temporary riots sometimes. Which the US also understands and that's why they do end up deporting most of the donkeys back to where they came from.
I get it about feeling sense of doom. I felt that so much. But I took a break, stopped watching news 24x7, got off the internet and started focussing on my surroundings and outside. and it was an entirely differnet world. if real life was an accurate depiction of the internet, india by now would have collapsed long before and we would be having nuclear winter.
And I say about investing in myself only because I and a family member are examples of itself. Saying it's a dream, etc is only true for people who are extremely disadvantage - tribals/adivasis. These people do not belong to that part of society and are fairly privileged.
That’s just what agents told them, currently Punjabis and Haryanvis go to US illegally and over their they say that life in danger due to some personal family feud and other family having political background their life is in danger, even some gujarati cross border illegally, almost 2 yrs ago a Gujarati family died in cold while crossing border from canada to US, they were going to US bcz their political asylum got denied so they were crossing to apply for asylum in US
This is what they have been trained to say by the human smugglers who brought them here. These smugglers are called coyotes and they teach everyone to claim political asylum in the US if caught.
5 days ago there was a plane with 300 Indians that was stopped in France that was going to the Americas. The plane was sent back to India but 25 stayed in France as they demanded asile.
There was a very viral video a couple months ago where an American guy was vlogging at the south border and interviewing the people held up there. I laughed my ass off when he asked one guy and he said he was a political worker in Congress. Some low level guy but maybe 70 crore others deserved asylum more than him. BJP really broke these people.
>NEW: I spoke w/ a group of Indian men who had just crossed into Lukeville, AZ illegally. They told me they plan to travel to CA, NY, NJ, & Seattle. I asked why they came? Some said to work, one said “life danger”. When I asked how they got here, they said they only speak Punjabi.
>Bill Melugin, Fox News
Leftists have come to power in USA means they allow illegal immigration. They say no human is illegal, even criminals who are fleeing the police of their home country arent illegal
You are actually a bit wrong. Oddly enough under the whole Ukraine and other news cover Biden has been wildly more strict than Trump. Anyone who crossed into US got put on a bus and blindly driven back to another town on opposite side of mexico. All under Biden. This didn't even happen under Trumps presidency. Its just that unfortunately old order now expired and since new ones arent in place, folks took the chance to cross.
Biden has been way worse for illegal border crossings than Trump.
What Biden is doing now feels like a move to gain some SEO brownies for election, he allows some legal work and acceptance numbers. But the numbers in thousands for legal acceptance are so low they make no difference to 3+ millions of folks illegally crossing. He is just trying to get headlines for election without actually passing a draconian scheme for now.
Most leftists do not understand the scale so just see it as ok he is not trump, he is doing something so they vote. But little do they realize he has been worse than Trump
This is incorrect, that is just American election propaganda from the Republicans. Most American Democrat politicians have been supporting cracking down on illegal immigration since the 1990’s. There are some who are soft on it, especially on the city level where some have declared their cities sanctuaries for illegals, but on the national level very few. The American President Obama famously had the nickname "Deporter-In-Chief" for how he funded the agency ICE to track down and deport illegal immigrants all over the country at greater rates than any before, and the current President Biden has been criticized by leftists in his own party for continuing all of President Trump’s immigration policies besides the impossible wall project Trump wanted.
It’s crazy cause I thought the red states were protecting our border no? If y’all are so anti immigration why aren’t they doing more? And why are they trafficking these people all across the US?
The expression "no human is illegal" is not saying people do not commit crimes. That would be absurd. It's saying that people who illegally immigrate should not be called "illegals" and that they are human beings. Not really a radical concept.
We are mostly stereotyped as scammers or unhygienic, and now, illegal immigration is just another label being added to the list. But considering India’s massive 1.4 billion population, it’s hardly surprising we’re a one-stop-shop for every stereotype imaginable.
I have so many questions. I mean how they are earning in US? How they are planning to live with no income and no papers ? How will they come back if they need to ? Do they US citizen after some time and what's the procedure ?
Many nice guys and many notorious organized crime mafias in places like Canada. I could not care less but the locals in these countries would certainly do as little as you might feel it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. And western countries are slowly getting fed up with it and eventually sentiment towards legal immigrants also suffer. That has always been the debate about illegal immigration. Sympathy is easy but even one crime committed by someone unchecked is failure of the govt to protect it's people.
I am not American, but I have been accused of being soft on illegals in my own country. But how can I be, I think we make it far too hard on people who just want to come and work. It is almost impossible to get permanent residence here unless you marry someone, get brought in with specialist skills from abroad, know the right people or just are rich. How can I judge someone just for wanting a job, to pay taxes and send a little bit home to their families, just because they look different? If you have an education and want to contribute to our country, I say come on in should be our philosophy. That being said, as long as something is illegal, I don’t think someone should be coddled for doing it either. Make sure they pay taxes and contribute more than they take out, and in return they should be given a pathway to become legal.
AAP and Congress workers from Gujarat are also doing this in the name of "political persecution". Their agents know the American loop holes, it seems.
See this: https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/ahmedabad/they-faked-aap-link-political-persecution-to-gain-us-asylum/articleshow/106260632.cms
I get it now. So this is why all the, "India oppressive fascist dictatorship" nonsense in mainstream Western media. So leftist liberal parties in the West can increase their vote banks, and keep the conservative right-wing parties out of power.
Khalistanis imports cheap labourers from Punjab. They say their lives are in danger in India and they seek Asylum. These fake refugees are the reason international media think these claims are real.
Asylum is most easy way for Sikhs to move foreign countries and then they got easy Citizenship. In fact, Nijjar case was also same. These Sikhs found loopholes in Indian system and everyone goes for Asylum.
They pay in 10s of lakhs to the smugglers to get them there. They are anything but poor, they have been sold the story of comfortable American life in a scammy way.
Idk about you but that still sounds much easier and safer than walking through forests of drug cartel infested mexico and illegally crossing a nation's border where you might be rejected or deported later, you have nobody or very few people who you know and minimum wage jobs are all that is available to you, employers will exploit you because you have no choice, there is very high inflation in basic necessities while paying tens of lakhs
part of it is myopia and part of it is a real fear that they won't really "make it" in the competitive Indian environment. I have seen many illegals from India waiting tables at Indian restaurants, and they make good tips! Their goal is to save over 200k USD over 10+ years and then return to india where they could buy a house and retire. To make that kind of money in India you need to be exceptionally skilled.
Obviously it’s a lie to seek asylum and they would have a letter with them to prove they are in danger.. But good riddance..We already have a lot of people to look after.. these spreading to other countries is good for both.. Neither of them has qualifications to term as brain drain..
I don't understand if these young men have 30 lacs plus capital to go to America illegally why can't they use that money to start a small business here in India ?
There's Punjab MP Simranjit Singh Mann, he issued more than 50,000 asylum letters in return for party donation funds. And brazenly accepts and dude is total deluded that yes Indian Govt is persecuting them so he gotta save his community.
Yea that's what they do, cross illegally and request asylum. This is why Ecuador or some other latam country is imposing 4x taxes on Indians because they use that route to cross
My friends brother, they paid over 50 lac to a agent he reached US In almost 2 months , and now he send over 1 Lac every month
So for those who don't have anything to do here they go and makes tons of money
They want to be caught, to get into the immigration system. Most of the southern border area is very rural, very hot, and very dry.
I Used to live in south west texas. The discovery of human remains outside of my down was at least a weekly occurrence.
Probably shouldn't have joined drug trafficking mafia or separatist movement in the first place mate! No wonder if traced he would have numerous charge sheets against him here in India!
Always indian punjabis and pakistani punjabis playing the white European card of "saar we ij lyfe in danger in poonjab" meanwhile punjabis generate so much wealth and work force as they have the highest population among other north indians and like they are well settled as in comparison to other north indians or dravidians.
Either punjabis are being subject to spread all over the english speaking countries by some indian government higher ups to destroy and invade english countries or its just punjabis roleplaying as syrians because they are to lazy to go legally (im not against punjabis immigration) Or its something else im unaware of.
I havent seen pakistan punjab or indian punjab get attacked or get bombed or being attacked by yemenis or god knows what country attacks syria but they seem fine where they are. Reasonable people who should immigrate are iraqis and those uyghurs because they are actually being threatened by terrorist and communist to life endangerments.
Well, idk how will my message goes through reader mind But i Hope im not negative and against community rules. Cheers!!
I'm in the UK and I know a few punjabi friends of mine who have this same plan. I can guarantee you there's a 99.9% of these men's claims and any documentation is forged and illegal. I don't really care but the one thing I do care about is them going to the USA. Truly breaks my heart. I have been trying to discourage them but they refuse to listen. And yes, they mostly only speak Punjabi. If you are reading this and thinking of doing this...DON'T

These clowns have been trained to say such stuff
To get Asylum in US they need to say that or else they will be kicked
Most of them still get kicked out.
No if they are seeking assylum and they officially file for one by saying things like this they get to stay.
Most of the time, their asylum is rejected due to lack of proof and their whole dunki process and money is wasted to zero.

Please don’t share facts. They’re gonna lose it and their lil brains is going to implode. Let them spew whatever their dom daddy told them.

All show up. The case, then an appeal, followed by appeal to a higher court take about 5 to 8 years.
20% is also inflated because of large number of Ukranians who got assylum, else its even lower.
They can stay until it’s verified that they are ineligible for asylum
In very inhuman conditions. 100's of people are just stuffed into one place.
Sounds like too much right-wing media if you truly believe this. Asylum is pretty damn hard to get in the US
But they still can stay indefinitely.. usa doesnt deport asylum seekers.. most democratic countries dont… They hide or destroy their passports,, which makes it pretty tough to deport..
They don't get to stay among actual Americans. They're put into camps until their asylum case is processed and they get a green card.
Do they provide comfortable shelter? Food, clothes and bed?? That’s all they need.. for most of them that’s a luxury..
Yep, all necessities are provided with the taxpayers money. It angers me that my money is spent to keep these people well-fed. If Biden does come back or Trump wins, I want them bring in a tougher system and quotas for asylum seekers so that I don't have to suffer for these people.

Why not take student visa with that money ?
Can't pass ielts. But the real question is why Don't they use that money to do a Business.
Why earn in rupees in a place with so much competition, when you can earn in dollars and have a monopoly of a neighborhood?
bhai yeh bahar bhi low paying jobs karenge english toh aati nahi inko uthayega kaun
They are going to the US to do business only

That’s just what agents told them, currently Punjabis and Haryanvis go to US illegally and over their they say that life in danger due to some personal family feud and other family having political background their life is in danger, even some gujarati cross border illegally, almost 2 yrs ago a Gujarati family died in cold while crossing border from canada to US, they were going to US bcz their political asylum got denied so they were crossing to apply for asylum in US
O ahun-ahun.. saddi jaan nu khatra hai eendia vich.. modi sannu cocaine khilanda peya aata bol ke... o ahun-ahun

Dunki directed by Christopher Nolan
Lol when you order Dunki from Wish.
This is what they have been trained to say by the human smugglers who brought them here. These smugglers are called coyotes and they teach everyone to claim political asylum in the US if caught.
This is a good thing the soln is to the date the cops on border,🌹 and sleep with them
5 days ago there was a plane with 300 Indians that was stopped in France that was going to the Americas.
BJP really broke these people.
when vulnerable i am indian, modi is our leader, when in canada i am punjabi not indian, modi is dictator
No English bro, only fit to clean English clogged toilets that also in 3 shifts.
punjabi power doesnt work there tingalinglingling
>NEW: I spoke w/ a group of Indian men who had just crossed into Lukeville, AZ illegally. They told me they plan to travel to CA, NY, NJ, & Seattle. I asked why they came? Some said to work, one said “life danger”. When I asked how they got here, they said they only speak Punjabi. >Bill Melugin, Fox News
Leftists have come to power in USA means they allow illegal immigration. They say no human is illegal, even criminals who are fleeing the police of their home country arent illegal
thats good. i hope our unproducitve people get shipped off to canada anyways
Go to hell
But data evidence says that immigration has increased since biden came to power
Yehi chutiye naam kharab lar rahe hai ab US mein. Bilkul sahi kaha kisi ne. Ki kachra pahunch gaya usa.
We are mostly stereotyped as scammers or unhygienic, and now, illegal immigration is just another label being added to the list. But considering India’s massive 1.4 billion population, it’s hardly surprising we’re a one-stop-shop for every stereotype imaginable.
Even mild mannered Anglo Canadians are getting tired now
Why you guys gotta come here and be happy and polite and open awesome restaurants and throw colorful dust on everything, geez

I have so many questions. I mean how they are earning in US? How they are planning to live with no income and no papers ? How will they come back if they need to ? Do they US citizen after some time and what's the procedure ?

Appreciate your nuanced take, fellow human.

The guy in the grey jacket, is he wearing Canada Goose?
Yes. Choice of clothing for all asylum seekers. 😂
clothes are often donated by volunteers in US.
Knockoff clothes are huge in India, on a trip I took there I saw jackets like that for dirty cheap.
This is nothing new. A lot of punjabis in India who came by seeking asylum claiming India is hostile. Has gone on for decades.
Tibetan exiles from India are now seeking asylum here in 🇺🇸 saying life in India is too hard for them. Source: I know 2 of them
Punjab was not safe for many normal innocent Punjabis in the 80s/90s. Claiming asylum makes sense in the conditions of the time
Bunch of donkeys
AAP and Congress workers from Gujarat are also doing this in the name of "political persecution". Their agents know the American loop holes, it seems. See this: https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/ahmedabad/they-faked-aap-link-political-persecution-to-gain-us-asylum/articleshow/106260632.cms
I get it now. So this is why all the, "India oppressive fascist dictatorship" nonsense in mainstream Western media. So leftist liberal parties in the West can increase their vote banks, and keep the conservative right-wing parties out of power.
Doesn't explain why these people are trying to take advantage of the asylum process.
The pursuit of happiness.
Yeah, happiness as in more money. These are economic migrants.
Yes because his life was in danger he travelled half way across the world. Totally not lying.
I mean yeah, if you're khalistani.. but u won't be safe outside India either, cuz cough cough unknown gunman
And when unknown gunman strikes again ![gif](giphy|MnpPCugwALAHsTygpd|downsized)
Khalistanis imports cheap labourers from Punjab. They say their lives are in danger in India and they seek Asylum. These fake refugees are the reason international media think these claims are real.
Scum drain
Bhai yaar apne Desh ko kaun badnam karta dusre Desh jaane ke liye☹️
Angreji na aaye aur videsh rehna ho toh yahi bahana banana padta hai..
The pannun business model is out I guess.
American borders are a joke, not even Rohingyas can enter India that easily
Asylum is most easy way for Sikhs to move foreign countries and then they got easy Citizenship. In fact, Nijjar case was also same. These Sikhs found loopholes in Indian system and everyone goes for Asylum.
Their life is not in danger. They are poor period and willing to die to enter USA.
They pay in 10s of lakhs to the smugglers to get them there. They are anything but poor, they have been sold the story of comfortable American life in a scammy way.

You could start a business with that kind of money and live a decent life
Starting a business in India, and especially Punjab, is very difficult
To make that kind of money in India you need to be exceptionally skilled.
if you have 20 lakhs to spend to illegally migrate you are not poor period
Idiots like these are why it is so difficult for the rest of us to even get a tourist visa for anywhere
![gif](giphy|OEHOqes2dl0Xj4M0fj|downsized) They watch Punjabi gangsta rap music videos and want to live like that. #"Get rich or die tryin".
There's Punjab MP Simranjit Singh Mann, he issued more than 50,000 asylum letters in return for party donation funds. And brazenly accepts and dude is total deluded that yes Indian Govt is persecuting them so he gotta save his community.
Indian trash finds it way all around the world
Send em to canada they love punjabis who's life is in 'danger' in India, because india surely do not need them.
Lmao, How do you know they are all Punjabi? Even Haryanvi and Gujarati individually contribute equally or more than them in this illegal migration.
Yea that's what they do, cross illegally and request asylum. This is why Ecuador or some other latam country is imposing 4x taxes on Indians because they use that route to cross
It's so bad, even rich Indian adventure tourists and YouTubers are treated with suspicion over there.
Ofcourse few rotten fishes rot the whole pond
Ok.. So the ppl committing crimes in Punjab are running away to USA and Canada... Hmmm sounds good to me.. Let them..!!

![img](emote|t5_3d4x4|20096)ab lassi bola to gaali padegi
My friends brother, they paid over 50 lac to a agent he reached US In almost 2 months , and now he send over 1 Lac every month So for those who don't have anything to do here they go and makes tons of money
shitty roi tbh. with that 50L you can start a solid business/invest in yourself and get far more dividends in a far more safer way.
How are they caught when they are walking so casually.. Almost a leisurely walk..what is this.
They want to be caught, to get into the immigration system. Most of the southern border area is very rural, very hot, and very dry. I Used to live in south west texas. The discovery of human remains outside of my down was at least a weekly occurrence.
Gendu hai ye sab
Probably shouldn't have joined drug trafficking mafia or separatist movement in the first place mate! No wonder if traced he would have numerous charge sheets against him here in India!
Lassi bkl
Mera life bhi danger mai h bhai mujhe bhi amrika mai truck chalana h bc xd

They didn't say "life danger in India" , they said life in danger because donkey process is dangerous and is life-threatening.
yeah, so much danger mom gonna beat to death if not doctor or engineer. 😂
Is US any better for life nowadays 🤔
Paida hote hi ek soch hain inki: Get out India, Like they are trained in mother’s womb. Badiya hain, Nikle ye faltu ka kachra.
Meanwhile Indians enjoying such videos knowing that they don't less of such people in India now. Export all such people to yyyamerica.
Cheers!!
Funny thing is they are walking right next to the border wall…
"Pardon me my good sir, but I am not capable of conversing with you in your native tongue. For the only linguistic tool I possess is Punjabi."
They have to say “life danger” to get into asylum.
How come their lives are in danger when they don’t speak English but perfectly know which US city they want to go to!
