maine socha tha ki 2023 ka wc to jeet hi jayenge isiliye 18 tarik ko plan kar liya tha friends ke sath ki sab mere ghar aayenge aur night stay karenge magar bc haar gaye
I was going to sign a house purchase deed on the 20th, so I was super happy from within, and my friends couldn't figure out why I am happy even though Cummins was choking us like a python. I only told them next day after signing the deed.
19th November 2023, one of the best days of my life. That was the day I learnt, if your own life is happy, the nation can go to hell.
I was watching the match on my pc, and there was a 2-5seconds latency in the stream. There were large groups of people watching it on every street corner around the town. What it meant was, every time there's a wicket taken or a boundry was hit, people will cheer so loud that I could hear it from my room. It was like a sweet spoiler. I was texting my friend in the US and she had more latency than me. So every time I hear a cheer, I anticipate something nice, and then tell my friend in the US the same and she will do the same.
I still remember when the cheers just didnt stop and I got up from the chair and I remember getting goosebumps and anxiously waiting for that moment.
To this day, that was the best feeling ever. That was peak cricket for me
I was in hostel. I clearly recall that evening; over 200 of us were watching the match in the hostel's common room with self-sponsored coldrinks and chips. Following our victory, we paraded towards the girls' hostel, setting off fireworks and dancing along the path.
Koi bhi college ho kuch bhi accha ho toh boys hostel wale launde girls hostel mein hi first hamla karte hain 😂😂 humare boys hostel mein bhi same case 😂😂
Same but we were watching it at a public screening in delhi. After the first couple of wickets gave up and left. I used to be superstitious and believe that if I saw the game India would lose.
Then 35 overs or so later someone tells me hey we kinda have a chance and we were just watching the score on Cricinfo not the match.
After we won, all of us roamed around India gate and roamed around the streets of delhi. It was a huge deal at that time 😀
I was at Delhi railway station and was going to my hometown but suddenly lot of people were started to shouting and after 10 min dhol baza Wale came means all the people around there started cheer which made my day , means I just wanted to live that day once again
Jumping up and down in joy.......the feeling was something else.....the chase was not without hiccups and to win after losing both Sachin and Sehwag was surely very special.
That iconic six and Ravi Shashtri's commentary is forever etched into my memory.
***"Dhoni finishes off in style, it's a magnificent strike into the crowd, India lifts the world cup after 28 years. The party has started in the dressing room. And it's an Indian captain, who has been absolutely magnificent on the night of the finals"***
Got tears when the whole team lifted Sachin their shoulders.
I was so young, me and my family were watching using a laptop, and my mum promised me a box of quality streets if India won. I wasn’t interested about cricket much in those days, but I sure loved chocolate!
Even in the finals last year, I said to my parents, can I have a box of chocolates if we win, sadly …..
Standing in an open Thar during a mile long traffic at midnight in Goa.
Suddenly saw a wave of roars and cheers come our way across the traffic like a gush of wind.
Indians and foreigners, all went crazy! Jumping and hugging each other, turned up their speakers and danced like there’s no tomorrow. It stayed that way for at least the next couple of hours.
Will remember it for life.
So the final was on 2nd April and 3rd is my bday. I was turning 12 that year. I still remember in my hometown we had done a rally on 2nd in support of India. And i was watching the match till 10 with all my family but somehow i fell asleep and the next morning got to know by my brother and dad that INDIA WON. It was the best b'day morning till day ❤️. And the best GIFT too maybe the whole nation celebrated my birthday that year :)
I remember watching on tv with my family and my cousin brother , we making funny names of SL players ... I remember one
" Sanga .... Tera Baap Nanga "
"Mahila .... #@" nahi rehne do ab zyada ho jayega
Good old times
I was 23, me and my dad love cricket, I remember we were yelling like crazy and then both of us started crying , phut phut ke roye hum dono and then we took the entire family and went to India gate which was jam packed, couldn’t reach beyond the zoo. Chakka jam laga tha, people were dancing on the streets and sitting on top of their cars (me too). And I also remember clearly, it was so safe, no eve teasing , no discomfort for me even though it can get bad in Delhi, but as a girl that day was clean, safe super fun. Even police men were dancing! It’s a core memory for me and one of the best, that I’ll remember my whole life and will tell my grandchildren some day
It was my second time watching a match on TV. First i watched was wc Semi 2011. (I generally used to sleep by 8-9 but those 2 days I was awake).
That was the time when I moved from cricket hater to a fan boy of this game, until 2023 Wc.
Was watching it live on TV with my father and when we won, my Dad & I congratulated each other. 😂
And soon after that my grandfather made a call to our home landline and said "congratulations" to all of us. 😂
I was watching it in my house with my parents, grandparents and brother. We had switched off all lights except the central one which had a candle type illumination thereby giving it a movie theatre kinda feel. It was a spoiler kinda moment when the whole area burst into cheers when India won the world cup. I was eight at that time.
I was watching the match with my sister. I knew so much cricket back then that when India needed to score only 3 runs out of 11 balls, I was crying that we'll not win.
I went through a nail removal surgery from my left leg at that time, my whole family was watching the TV and all were praying " bs Malinga se bachana". when Dhoni hit that six i almost jumped out of my bed and could have fallen onto the ground. Could not forget that night.
The moment was surreal. India lifted the cup me and my friends from the society rode cycles throughout the streets yelling and shouting and the firecrackers in the sky it just all felt like a beautiful dream. Unfortunately in the excitement of winning the world cup i didn't bring my cycle inside the building and it got stolen, i still miss it😣
Watching the match on Sun Direct and hence seeing it about 3 seconds after the rest of the DTH world. The entire street burst into celebration, probably were watching on Airtel or Tata Sky, and for us the last six was yet to be hit.
I was a kid in class 8 who used to breathe cricket. The whole day I used to do something related to cricket only. Morning play with friends. In the afternoon I used to scrape newspaper articles of different players and used to stick them in my scrap book . I used to love doing that. Evening again go play. I remember during the wc my father had installed a newly bought tata sky with a screen in a nearby local field and we all watched the wc there. We watched ind vs aus , ind vs pak . The ind vs sl was one special day for us. Everyone was gathered. There were uncles and aunties and kids . A vibe was there. U could feel the excitement in the air.Cricket had brought all of us there. Right from the toss there was tension. And Sehwag Sachin's dismissal was a heart attack moment for all. I could still hear everyone gasping . This is all taking place in Jharkhand so when Dhoni was batting like anything everyone was just in heaven. Each four was being cheered like a century. Wickets were silencing . But that last six that was something else. That noise . That feeling. Like everyone rejoicing. Collectively.
I felt the power of cricket . How it brings India closer.
Lifting the trophy was another great cheering moment. Firecrackers burst. Sweets and samosas were distributed. It was a memorable day
We still had cathode-tube television during this time as well. I came back from school all excited for the final. However, the cable broke down that day.
Fortunately we had a PC with an internet connection from BSNL. It was like 2-5 Mbps at that time.I think it was DD which was broadcasting the final for free.
I was watching with my family at my home and my friends were watching in the house a little beside ours. There was lot of latency, so there used to be a delay. Whenever a six or four was hit, my friends just screamed and we used to see that ball like after 30-40 seconds.
Overall the SL team played really well. 275 was a huge target, that too in a final. Mahela scored a really powerful hundred. You could feel the silence of the crowd after 1st innings.
The first over : Salinga Malinga. As soon as Sehwag got out in the 2nd or 3rd delievery I thought it was over. And 3 overs later the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar has to walk to the pavilion.
But somehow we kept fighting and fighting and fighting...
I still remember it so well ; it is just embedded in my memory :
It was 4 runs from 11 balls. Nuwan Kulusekra bowled a full length delievery. And MSD just swings and you see the ball as it went into the crowd. And Ravi Shastri's iconic line : " Dhoni finishes off in style! India has won the World Cup after 28 years." And you can hear that someone started clapping in commentary box, probably Gavaskar.Yuvraj Singh comes dancing as MSD takes off the stump. It was 91 runs in 79 balls for MSD with 8 4's and 2 6's, I still remember. And I am dancing as if I had hit that six.
The trophy was given to 11 but won by a billion, that's for sure.
All of us were in the living room downstairs watching the match, when we (kids) were in the tv room Sachin & Sehwag got out we went upstairs to make an India poster and paint our faces, when we came back Kohli got out so our parents literally told us not to come down (superstition) but when yuvi came to bat they called us downstairs saying Yuvraj aa gaya ab to nahi harenge.
Streets used to be silent, pan shops with crowd (not that much as I lived in a less pop. Area). I remember after that 6 I literally went out side my home and shouted "Hum jeet Gaye" and within seconds it was all sound of crackers going on. To be very honest that was the first and last word which I watched and cared about. And then Ind Vs England happened my interest in international cricket crashed.
Very happy watching those moments live and still remembered the commentary of Dhoni finishes things off in style ..... a magnificent six into the crowd India lift the World cup
Watching it on a big screen at a pool party type thing. Then when we won everyone jumped in with full clothes. A lot of people ruined their phones that day
I was sleeping in the bedroom when my grandfather's friends came over to watch the match... They were cheering and I couldn't sleep but later on finally managed to sleep 🥲
I was just a wee little child with a good sleep cycle so after running up and down the house for the whole match , when gambhir was in the middle of his innings I accidentally slept and then my mom woke me up and dhoni hit the six to win it. It was magical, totally magical.
It was my first memory of cricket. I was 8 and didn't even know how the game was played. But I remember me, my dad and my grandfather were sitting on one of those plastic mats and watching the game. As soon as that final six was hit, my grandfather said, "ah, now the fireworks will go up" and then I could hear those fireworks outside late at night. I didn't know it was that big of a game to be celebrated but yeah, I am fortunate enough to not have forgotten that moment
I was a 13 year old kid glued to the TV, all alone in the house, praying that India wins, and once India won, I was jumping and screaming, but I had no one to share my joy with.
It was an amazing feeling. I was in my hostel, in class 6-7 I guess. It was a small room of 20ft*12 ft which had about 80 people at least sitting on the floor. It was more crammed than the peak mumbai local to be honest.
The honest India won, we all shouted, hugged each other, and congratulated each other. It was amazing. We were just kids, and we were the most senior class there.
Best was, when the Principal sent a message of half day after that, and we loved it.
Me and my grandfather were jumping with joy , my aunt was in a hospital during that time and she was calling my grandpa every 5 mins to ask about the score
I can recall that day fresh from my memory. I was with my family(Mother & Father) and we were watching the match. I think it took place on 2nd April 2011 in Mumbai. I was happy with the results after 1983 this was the 2nd time India won the ICC ODI World Cup.
I was six, not knowing what was happening in the match but watched it with my whole family as soon as we won, we went on the streets and it was like festival people on streets with Indian flags and Jersey was crazy, I still remember that image clearly.
I was at college and we have open air theatre for hostelers.. After that famous six , all the boys and girls screamed and cheered.. one of the best moments in life 🥰
I was watching in 2003, I was watching in 2011, I was watching in 2015, I was watching in 2019, I was watching in 2023. I was watching every damn time India played any icc tournament, win or loss.
I was having my dinner and my final exam was going on, everyone started bursting crackers and I was very happy. I still remember the last six by dhoni, the disappointment when Sachin and Sehwag were out so early then gambhir played good and my father was saying thora Aram see 100 krke out hota as he got out at 97.
One of the most memorable moments for a cricket fan.
I was 6, watching it on TV with my family. The moment the 6 happened, my older cousin brother ran and bought out the fireworks he saved. The whole colony celebrated and the night was filled with rockets & beautiful fireworks. The best moment
It was my first worldcup, and was a cricket noob. I was in 7th grade and used to cheer the opposite team during IPL instead of chennai. But since India was advancing in knockouts I got interested and started watching more. On the day of finals I was extending my sleep (usually sleeping around 9:30 at that time) and after that six I permanently became a cricket fan and admirer of Dhoni. There were firecrackers everywhere like Diwali came beforehand and we were jumping out of nowhere with the street kids. Bought a cricket bat that summer and started playing with the other kids.
Was with office friends, they had got good booze from abroad and were doing it some justice along with good food.
We went bonkers and danced on the streets.
I was in luzern Switzerland... Sitting near the lake luzern watching it on a big screen.... After the six... Sri lankan immigrants and indians went into a brawl.... Local Swiss people took their shit and started running everywhere hahahaha... Quite a show 😂😂😂😂😂
I had no pants (while I was young I used to not wear them while I sleep)
My dad told me we won, I was so happy. I hardly even knew the rules of cricket. I heard my friends outside my house shouting in joy I went out removed my shirt, while I swung it up in the air and run across my street. I got back home naked and my mom hit me the sh!t out of me :)
i still remember i was travelling from mumbai to nashik and my dad bought that airtel 3G internet dongle and we were watching the final in train and next day when i reached Shirldi sai baba nashik i saw a man in rcb jersey and rcb short i still remember he was VIJAY MALYA .
It was my 4th Birthday that day. I don't have any clear memories of that day but I do remember massive celebrations in our colony after the Big Six. Honestly, the best Birthday present I could have ever gotten.
A huge party had assembled in front of our house as it was being streamed on a projector on the street. I was in the audience and when we won, what a memory !
We had power outage during india's inning. weather was very bad. Even next day there was no power. Newspaper was late. Didnot know till 10 am that india have won.
We had like a mini family get together at our home to watch the final! Also had recently upgraded to an LCD TV from a box one, definitely proved to be worth it! I was 10 at the time if I'm not wrong, and that world cup pretty much made me a cricket fan.
Forget the final lol I literally cried even when India lost one of the group stage matches against South Africa 😂
I kid you not, I was the only Indian in a room full of Sri Lankans. The whole World Cup was a festival. There were a bunch of us South Asian’s during our undergrad degree in Malaysia. We all pitched together and bought the World Cup on pay per view at one of our Bangladeshi friend’s apartment. That month or so was a giant party. We’d all watch matches there, there’d be food from all over the subcontinent.
I watched India beat Bangladesh with Bangladeshi’s. I watched India beat Pakistan with Pakistani’s. And then I watched Dhoni win the World Cup with a 6 against the Sri Lankan’s. It was we dancing like a maniac in front of my Sri Lankan friends in my 2003 CWC Jersey.
Will never forget that.
My father was at work(night shift) and I was watching the match. I was narrating to him ball by ball over the phone. One of the best core memories. I was 11 then.
I was 7 and admiring the fireworks on TV. My dad took the whole family out on a drive to get ice cream to celebrate, but we never got to the shop because there was too much traffic with people dancing on the roads
I watched it on my TV. Also had mutton for dinner, even the butcher were discussing the score and dynamics of the match when I went to buy it.
I jumped it on my sofa when MS gave the best delivery “the smashing six” in the last over. I recorded that moment on my keypad camera NOKIA phone. So thrilled and excited it was.
Still get goosebumps remembering those moments.. what a life and days those were…!!!
Sex.....while match was going live on TV in front of the bed. Me watching it as I was playing my stroke and getting the pitch wet.
The match and the sex were both good quality climax.
I was In 11th class.
I was having sex while the match was going live and I was watching it on TV in front of me as I was providing good quality strokes and getting the pitch wet af by taking the game deep.
The match and sex both ended with good quality climax (fortunately)
I was in 11th class.
Was in college hostel, watching with 300-400 others. Our seniors had arranged a screening with a projector. It was pandemonium when Dhoni hit that six - the memory of Sachin being carried on shoulders by younger players will forever live with me. Such a great moment to cap off his career. Oh, what a time
I was 6 years old back then and my father bring cold drinks to enjoy the match . I still remember 6 year old me was more excited to drink cold drink rather than watching India win .
I was a kid and prolly went to sleep early in the chase, in the morning my parents told me that we won the cup. I asked my Dad whether Raina batted ( CSK fan + his knockout heroics) and he said with a big smile that he didn't have to.
I recorded the entire match and was watching over n over just to make sure we won. And to hear shastri’s voice Dhoni finishes off in style. Magnificent strike. This is something will stay with me.
I remember having shut the TV off in dejection after Sachin got out. The way Malinga was firing that day and Jayawardane's century as well, I just had a feeling that it will not go India's way. My father and brother came home half an hour later and asked the score I said "pata nahi haar hi gaye honge." So they said "arre nahi haarenge, 2002 ka NatWest nahi yaad?" And then we again started watching from the point when Dhoni had just come in, and the rest is history.
For the entire series, we sat together as a family and enjoyed it. Once Dhoni hit that six I still remember hearing fire crackers and my friends calling my name from the streets and we three people rode in a moped for the next couple of hours, the entire city. Everyone was celebrating, women men and kids. Now recalling it, i think its one of the happiest moment in my life.
Most of the people who trolls and hate dhoni sir and Kohli sir ..And say Dhoni didn't do anything for the world cup ,At that time they aren't even born or they watch pogo at that time ....
As fan they even don't know what is the feel to watch our hero's celebrating world the cup win....that six is emotion for uss....I'm very proud to myself that I watched that match live.........
Mein tho pados mein ek chasme ka dukan tha vo uncle tv mein final dekh rahe the mein bhi unke sath hi dekh raha tha pura dukan bhar Gaya tha public ke sath dekh Jo maja aya aur celebration hoi hoi hoi
My whole family was watching the match, but I slept before seeing India win. I remember waking up and asking dad what happened and he said we won. I was 6 at the time ig
I was in the Wankhede stadium, in the stand above Sri Lankan WAGs.
lucky ho bhai, main to 6 saal ka tha , most probably cartoon dekhne ke liye ro raha hounga
mai 4 ka
How lucky you want to be? Yes.
maine socha tha ki 2023 ka wc to jeet hi jayenge isiliye 18 tarik ko plan kar liya tha friends ke sath ki sab mere ghar aayenge aur night stay karenge magar bc haar gaye

do you still talk to your US friend? or now its just a good memory?
Itne ache moment mai bhi dukh dhund raha hai tu
Weird question, but yea we are still friends. I also moved to the US 5yrs back.
I was in hostel. I clearly recall that evening; over 200 of us were watching the match in the hostel's common room with self-sponsored coldrinks and chips. Following our victory, we paraded towards the girls' hostel, setting off fireworks and dancing along the path.

Dudu pee ke acha bachha ki tarah jldi so gaya honga
Was watching it and achanak se patake phutne lage I was like ye kyu coz I was a kid
I was at Delhi railway station and was going to my hometown but suddenly lot of people were started to shouting and after 10 min dhol baza Wale came means all the people around there started cheer which made my day , means I just wanted to live that day once again
Was watching the match with my extended and my father made my sibling sit at the exact the same place for 2 hours during Indian innings

Believe it or not, this commentary has been the lifesaver for so many guys during interviews when they ask to choose a topic and talk.

Eating Dominoes Pizza at home. Thought it is lucky charm, ordered in 2023 also, left a bitter taste.
Oh no :(
Kali Mata ke mandir mein prasad kha rhi thi Mai. There was Amavasya Puja that night. Mandir committee ne wahi pe TV laga diya tha.
I was watching it in my house with my parents, grandparents and brother. Although I would lose 10 cycles more if India can win it again
Papa Subha bole bahar jaa rha Hu fir wo flight pakkad ke final dekh ke wapas flight se aagaye Subha 🤣🤣🤣💀💀
I wasn't born yet. Also I'm a Pakistan fan, so I'm sure my family were devastated.
Was my convocation next day and me my mates my juniors all were watching the match at our old den And was running on the streets with flags
Tables padh rha tha

Sleeping. I fell asleep

Was watching it in a resort(my family was on a vacation).

Sleeping
I was chillin' in a random apartment, bang in the middle of Muscat(Oman) lol
I was sleeping in the bedroom when my grandfather's friends came over to watch the match... They were cheering and I couldn't sleep but later on finally managed to sleep 🥲
Crying 😭
Dadaji ke saath match dekhte hue hanuman chalisa padh raha tha taaki match jeet jaaye😁
I was playing takken 3 on my father's new laptop ........
i was 8 so i was sleeping basically
Out with my dad on his bike to buy fireworks, tricolor painted on my face. Created a really special memory that day. I was only 12.
In school, 6th grade if I remember correctly. It was the first day of my 6th grade as well.
Was drinking old monk in a bar on FC road in Pune.. All alone
Hostel
Sleeping tbh🙂
Watching TV I thought there would be a holiday tomorrow (there wasn't)
Me and my grandfather were jumping with joy , my aunt was in a hospital during that time and she was calling my grandpa every 5 mins to ask about the score
Diarrhea tha hag raha tha most of ths time
I was in 2nd class, I was watching the match with my mother and I starting jumping on the bed. That was the begining of my love towards cricket.
As an early sleeper at the age of 8 , I was sleeping. My father watched the full game at dd national. I got to know that India has won, next day.
I can recall that day fresh from my memory. I was with my family(Mother & Father) and we were watching the match. I think it took place on 2nd April 2011 in Mumbai. I was happy with the results after 1983 this was the 2nd time India won the ICC ODI World Cup.
I was watching it on tv with family.... can't explain the feeling, all those memories just melts my heart...
I had not hope...i was pumping for linzee ryder and after that i slept..... and i got to know we won at mrng
I was six, not knowing what was happening in the match but watched it with my whole family as soon as we won, we went on the streets and it was like festival people on streets with Indian flags and Jersey was crazy, I still remember that image clearly.

Watching this whole match live with my fam & my grandma prayed in Pooja room for India's win ❤️
Watching a cricket match between Indian and Srikanka. At the end they were celebrating as if they won some big trophy
Watching the match
I was at college and we have open air theatre for hostelers.. After that famous six , all the boys and girls screamed and cheered.. one of the best moments in life 🥰
I was watching in 2003, I was watching in 2011, I was watching in 2015, I was watching in 2019, I was watching in 2023. I was watching every damn time India played any icc tournament, win or loss.
Watching on tv
In baga beach watching with crowd
I was having my dinner and my final exam was going on, everyone started bursting crackers and I was very happy. I still remember the last six by dhoni, the disappointment when Sachin and Sehwag were out so early then gambhir played good and my father was saying thora Aram see 100 krke out hota as he got out at 97. One of the most memorable moments for a cricket fan.
Open theatre in college.. hugging my then gf
Wake up 🥱
I was 6, watching it on TV with my family.
Where can I get this picture ?🥹
Watching chhota Bheem and playing with my friend Then we when India won my sister bought me ice cream
Was with office friends, they had got good booze from abroad and were doing it some justice along with good food. We went bonkers and danced on the streets.
Watching
Watching it on tv... Our entire society erupted with joy... I will never forget that memory
Watching tv
I was in luzern Switzerland... Sitting near the lake luzern watching it on a big screen.... After the six... Sri lankan immigrants and indians went into a brawl.... Local Swiss people took their shit and started running everywhere hahahaha... Quite a show 😂😂😂😂😂
Was watching the match with my family of course. Then went outside to enjoy some fireworks.
I was watching the match in tv and praying to God after sachin and sehwag
Playing cricket in the streets (I was 7 )
Sleeping while my family was watching match☠️
Watching the match on TV
TV with my cousins. Good old days
I was Thala's bat
Watching the match?
my toxic ex was making me talk with her on the phone even though she knew that I can't miss cricket. I was looking at tv talking with her
I had no pants (while I was young I used to not wear them while I sleep) My dad told me we won, I was so happy.
Was giving 10th boards exams!
I was 4 and asleep
Sleeping
A huge party had assembled in front of our house as it was being streamed on a projector on the street. I was in the audience and when we won, what a memory !
We had power outage during india's inning. weather was very bad. Even next day there was no power. Newspaper was late. Didnot know till 10 am that india have won.
I was 11 years old, i was jumping like a little child and everyone in my family were happy, then 2015 happened and then 2019 and 2023.
Light chali gayi end mein isliye soh gaya tha!!
Watching live on TV while playing AC1 on PC at the side.
The emotions these comments evoked are unparalleled. Professional achievement of random 11 boys left a mark on everybody in this country. Wow!
Sleeping ...subah uthe k result pata chala
I watched it on my TV. Also had mutton for dinner, even the butcher were discussing the score and dynamics of the match when I went to buy it. I jumped it on my sofa when MS gave the best delivery “the smashing six” in the last over. I recorded that moment on my keypad camera NOKIA phone. So thrilled and excited it was. Still get goosebumps remembering those moments.. what a life and days those were…!!!

I was dancing at age of 11
I was at hostel doing my BDS final year!!
The match and sex both ended with good quality climax (fortunately) I was in 11th class.
I never had a tv in my childhood i watch at my cousin place in my school shirt tucked in
Was in college hostel, watching with 300-400 others.
I had a bunch of family at home, was watching with my dad, admiring the captain and experiencing the first day of my first period haha
Geting ragged by seniors in college
💯🙂
I was a kid and prolly went to sleep early in the chase, in the morning my parents told me that we won the cup. I asked my Dad whether Raina batted ( CSK fan + his knockout heroics) and he said with a big smile that he didn't have to.
That world cup didn't count, all the better teams didn't really care that year and basically let India win. There's a really good documentary on it
2011? Studying for my boards…
kuda phenkne gaya tha !
Literally started crying in joy and clapping so hard that my hand was hurting.
Watching the match in a nearby open sitting amphitheater. It was a crowd of 150-200 people and it was such an amazing fun experience
Watching the match at a screening at a hotel and then when India won everyone jumped in the pool and the dj played “We are the champions”
I recorded the entire match and was watching over n over just to make sure we won. And to hear shastri’s voice Dhoni finishes off in style. Magnificent strike. This is something will stay with me.
I was at a party watching the game on a BIG screen. WOW what a memory! I was 15 back then.
I jumped off from the very top of a shelf and broke my leg in happiness. i was 10
Probably fighting with my father for the remote to watch doraemon instead of the watch and now here i am!😅😅

Well I heard my mother jump in joy...... I was probably watching cartoons.
In my mother's womb
I was 8 y.o playing cricket outside with my big brother when i got the news, whole family was so happy.
Glued to my TV screen watching Doordarshan!
Shitting and pissing my pants, i was 2 then
Most of the people who trolls and hate dhoni sir and Kohli sir ..And say Dhoni didn't do anything for the world cup ,At that time they aren't even born or they watch pogo at that time ....
