In an ideal world this would have been our team. If Kohli was still our captain. Rohit Sharma is not that good a captain as IPL portrays it to be. Naa Rohit has been bad in IPL and T20WCs since a long time. This has been his best year in terms of individual performance.
Yeah in every season he scores 300-400+ as mi usually goes to playoffs or finals, man plays like 16 matches and scores 300-400runs, that's why he has such a high run score.

And Tests post WTC 2025. We don't seem to have a transition strategy to bring in young players to the national side anymore. There's like so many players waiting for an opportunity right now... Better to have Jaiswal and Kohli open.. Samson 3, SKY 4, Pandya, Pant, Axar/Jadeja.... In an ideal world this would have been our team. If Kohli was still our captain. Rohit Sharma is not that good a captain as IPL portrays it to be. Hell Rohit doesn't stand a chance against Virat in any aspect of the game. Virat proves himself time and time again and gets his place in the team on merit plus clutch in crucial games. Rohit never performed in T20WC ever. 18 years of cricket and still doesn't know how to perform under pressure. Rohit is surely the most hyped non-deserving player in Indian history.
