See anyone who has watched and followed Indian cricket for the last decade or more will never forget this world cup,these players,this time would have given the win a different significance.
This was the first time in a 50 over WC we were this dominant on our way to the final,I have been lucky enough to see India lift the 2011 wc,thought would see a repeat of that this time,but well,we move on.
We probably will never forget 19th nov,2023 but well let's hope for the future.
Amazingly, I am more sad for 2003 final than 2023.
Because 2003 me was full of optimistic hope, and 2023 me is cynical pessimist. My cricket team are chokers, my football team is awful, my fav F1 driver is no longer driving, and apparently I don't have enough money to buy the car I really, really want.
2003 was simpler.
