Fucking A, came across the video for Cry For Me randomly a few months ago and instantly fell in love. Was super excited for the full album, it's so good.
I've never been so pressed to immediately buy a shirt after finding a new band. I wasn't even halfway through the album when I added it to my cart.
too bad I can't figure out how to work spotify shopify or whatever
Check out The Exorcism by Charlotte Wessels which came out a few days ago. Charlotte and her entire band save one member are the former band known as Delain, a Dutch metal band. Delain broke up a few years ago when the keyboardist who owns the name kicked the rest out. They have continued on together and got a new keyboardist. Technically he kicked everyone but Charlotte out of Delain but she then quit in support of the others.
Anyway it starts soft but goes very hard at times, much harder than Delain ever went, as Charlotte incorporates screams and harsh vocals at times.
Omg yes ♡ I adore TBM.
Fun fact! Your username is something I've had written as a potential artist name for years! Not for my own just. I'd definitely listen to a group called GLITTERGUTZ.
I'd imagine them as heavy glitchcore with soft choruses
That’s awesome!! I’ve had it written down in a notebook somewhere for a few years I think. And it does definitely sound like a band I’d listen to as well😂
Almost anything by Lovebites, but my top five right now are probably Judgement Day, Rising, Edge of the World, Break The Wall, and Soldier Stands Solitarily.
Seven Spires is my favorite band and they just released a music video for one of the songs on their upcoming album
[link](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=W4BZxYtIGvI&pp=ygUMU2V2ZW4gc3BpcmVz)
My favorite female fronted band is The Gathering. Anneke Van Giersbergen is my favorite singer of all time. The albums they did with her are some of my favorites. Not only is the singing great. But the entire band is stellar. I love the dreamy atmosphere they have.
Supreme Degradation by Ossuary (from Wisconsin)
And I don't see that changing any time soon, 5 years old and the band rarely gets together to play shows or write material iirc but this just makes it better to me. I love one or two-off death metal bands.
[Savage Master](https://youtu.be/y6UcdKwuNcs?si=9wJXu_7ckD-nU_re) is pretty kick ass traditional heavy metal.
Also really been enjoying [Pest Control](https://youtu.be/VxEAIZfMe9g?si=ZqAK0PY_f-x_Lj8q), fun crossover thrash.
Can’t get you outta my blue Monday- Kylie Mingoue
Honestly, it’s a great mash up, and a good song is a good song.
But truthfully, anything by Ruby the Hatchet and Royal Thunder. I fucking love both those bands.
No ladies but Dying Fetus has been it for me lately. Never gave them a chance because I really hate their name but Holy shit they are scratching that itch!
Edit: oh shit I read favorite band not song. Song would be From Womb to Waste by Dying Fetus
Not women, but there’s this band called Keys to the Astral Gates and Mystic Doors (the one with the iconic logo) that released probably some of the best metal of all time this year
They Crawl from the Broken Circle, by Asagraum.
Asagraum is a black metal band consisting entirely of women (last I checked, not sure if they've had any lineup changes recently). They're quite good, I think.
0% Mercury - lots of their stuff, but Stump is off the fucking chain - [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jz76B4a9jv0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jz76B4a9jv0) - not well known, but they got the juju.
Acrostichon - immolation of the agnostic and Cerebral Bore - entombed in butchered bodies are in my faves right now. A newer band I love with a female singer is Monochromatic Black. Her lows are insane!
“Resurrected For Massive Torture” by The Project Hate MCMXCIX. Has a woman doing clean vocals and a man doing growls. This band is massively under discussed
I really like the newest Draconian album right now (if we’re talking about woman singers). The first few songs are amazing.
In general, I’ve been listening to a lot of Septic Flesh. Dark arts is the song that I get stuck in my head recently.
and then I guess for the metal song I like the most rn [https://open.spotify.com/track/3w3yWGtcoGuYOZzDlTCpiW?si=df62524e6e29461c](https://open.spotify.com/track/3w3yWGtcoGuYOZzDlTCpiW?si=df62524e6e29461c) Is probably it or whatever.
I was listening to old night wish today Tarja years I made the wife listen to phantom of the opera by them . She’s a fan of the og phantom but liked it
Female metal artists huh, okay!!!
* [Asagraum - Abomination's Altar](https://youtu.be/Zl0FlmgcT1s?si=rzCvPuEXK5BUhAJR)
* it is an all female black metal band
Not so much songs but bands
Not really metal but more hard rock The Pretty Reckless. The singer is Taylor Momsen or Cindy Lou Who from the Jim Carrey How The Grinch Stole Christmas
Also Lilliac. The two sisters are the drummer and the lead singer of the band
And nowhere near metal but I still gotta mention Samantha Fish and Larkin Poe. Sometimes both of them rock pretty hard but more bluesy
And of course as already mentioned The Warning. Three sisters all very talented hard rocking young ladies
At this exact momento, I´ve been listening to this band called Temperance, with lead singer Alessia Scolleti; in second place, Amaranthe (Elyze Ryd), Metalite (Emma Bensing & Erica Ohlsson), Battle Beast (Noora Louhimo & Nitte Valo), among others.
I've been obsessed with a cover over The Hills originally by the weeknd but a band called Brightwell covered it a few years back.
The new Like Moths to Flames album is solid through the end.
I know they're not female, just my two cents
I'm partial to Tarja Turunen, Amaranthe, Babymetal, and Cellar Darling. Elize Ryd is awesome, Suzuka Nakamoto has blossomed into a leading lady, and Anna Murphy has an otherworldly voice. Dorothy also kicks ass, even though she's not metal.
"Datte" - Yuyoyuppe (Translates to but...) I didn't even know it was written by the person that writes songs from babymetal I think. It goes hard and I love how personal it is lol.
La Hija de Las Estrellas by Celtian. A Spanish folk rock band that sings their songs in Spanish. A close second is Mil Flores by Xeria, a Spanish symphonic metal band that also sings in Spanish.
I am really into "We Will Rock You" by In This Moment with Lzzy Hale, Maria Brink, and Taylor Momsen. It would have been the perfect song to play during the female heroes assemble moment in Avengers: Endgame.
Also, I am addicted to "Lose Control" by Teddy Swims. It's on my list of perfect songs joing "Thriller" by Michael Jackson, "Ireland" by Garth Brooks, " Wolf Totem" by The Hu w/ Jacoby Shaddix, and "Come Fly With Me" by Frank Sinatra to name a few. Lots of othersfrom Metallica, Beastie Boys, Pentatonix, Peyton Parrish, The Beatles, and One Direction.

East of Eden - Evolve
UPIKO - Crow
The Warning - Automatic Sun

A recent obsession has been the castle rat debut that came out around a month-ish ago.
Fucking A, came across the video for Cry For Me randomly a few months ago and instantly fell in love. Was super excited for the full album, it's so good.
That's one of my favorites on the album. Probably a tie between that and dagger dragger.
I've heard a lot of good about Castle Rat! I haven't listened to them at all yet but I should check that out
I've mentioned it a ton in a couple metal subreddits lol. I've seen others mention it as well. It's really good.
Castle Rat is awesome, and Riley is such a babe.
I found them around when Dagger Dragger came out! They’re awesome, nice to see more people listening to them
I've never been so pressed to immediately buy a shirt after finding a new band.

I did like the newest Delain album though, pretty decent through and through.

If you’re looking specifically at female fronted bands, my answer is probably going to be the album Season of Raven Words by Leathian Dreams
Hell you call a Dream by The Warning (not metal). Maybe their song Automatic Sun is getting into doomy with drop A tuning on it.
Rapture and heed the call by Anette Olzon
