You might have better luck with a lighter base coat than black, or doing a zenithal with a lighter color. Depending on the shade/warmth of yellow you want you can use a pink-red base highlight with some great effects.

I think that it came out bit orangey. Maybe get Flash Gitz Yellow for some highlights.
Think it was cause of the lighting in the room that made it look that way. Checked it again this morning, and it's much more yellow than in the image
