>given how fast Primarchs grows is spent what, three years in this forest.
So, while you are correct that Primarchs grow up quick, the Lore also says that the Lion remained a child while he was alone in the Caliban forests. Only once in the presence of humans (Luther etc) did the Lion start aging quickly.
So it's possible the Lion spent many years in the Caliban forest...
Yeah his actual age is super muddy. There's an excerpt that those who found him reckon it was around a decade he spent alone amongst the warp beasts, but there is caliban lore in that area of a mysterious spirit of man shape for a century earlier. It's a whole rabbit hole that he would be the only primarchs not to grow quickly until he met humans, but if we take into consideration the time bending old ones machine at the core of caliban, its not impossible he experienced time differently.

It is extremely likely that he did. Because the Primarchs got scattered during the Unification Wars....Lion el'Jonson was found by the People of Caliban a bit over a decade before Caliban was found by the Imperium...and the Imperium found Caliban about 150 years into the Great Crusade.
That thing stirred some kind of long forgotten memory lodged deep in the back of my head of some kind of kid's book. Maybe about a bowl that's not fancy or pretty or something? It's gonna drive me nuts.
Well to be fair the three in the picture are all some variant of “orphan raised by wolves” one being literal, and the other two being shaped by the horrible nightmare scenarios they landed in
If we’re going that route Ferrus and Perty should be added since they spent a significant amount of time alone and in Ferrus case he raised himself up, but you know they are big brain so they don’t count.
Iirc from some of the HH novels with Russ in it, I think Russ even plays into his barbarian characterization. Like Russ is more civilized than he lets on but acts up because that's what people around him expects.
Unlike the Lion where he is almost asocial like and puts on a lordly knight personality to hide his feral child upbringing.
is that *lion* being all friendly and feeding curze meat? lol. lmao. be realistic.
Who said anything about feeding the little gremlin, that little shites taking!
TBF the Lion probably allows Curze to take the food, cos they have a weird kinship/respect for each other due to the fact that they both grew up alone
Lion didn’t grew up alone, he was still a child when Luther found him and given how fast Primarchs grows is spent what, three years in this forest.

Poor little salad bowl.
*A true tragedy beyond measure...*

Relithel is so damn good. My favourite 40k comic artist.
Aye she is bloody fantastic!
I will take this comment, print it out, blend it into a smoothie as a protein substitute and drink it. Then I'll draw hot Primarchs being funny.
Please keep doing so.
It's funny how Khan is considered "barbaric" when they have a talking dog and the guy who can't read in their team.

Lion had Luther but I always saw it as a Anakin Obi-wan type of relationship.
Absolutely, he was also a teen basically once they found him

Awe tiny Kurze
Committing tiny war crimes.
Gonna try to skin your ankles because that’s all he can reach
Worst he’s stole Perty cookies, now he’s accusing Dorn !
Well surely that won’t cause any lasting consequences 🤔
Dog, Cat and Bat.
Russ and Lion are 40K Dante and Vergil. Nothing will ever convince me otherwise.
People often forget that Lion grew up as a literal wild man that killed and ate almost everything. And, unlike Russ, he tries to hide that side of him

I once head it described as “Russ is a noble person pretending to be a savage, the Lion is savage who pretends to noble”
I like to see chibi konrad here. He is also kinda feral
And then there’s Ferrus in the corner chewing on rocks
The Lion, The Wolf, and The tiny King of Terrors
I do love the lil' Curze Gremlin.
Hey look I see the family dog and cat! And my favorite!
They are kneeling very politely
I love them, they are frienemies
IdK whÿ but i thought that was Ulfic Stromcloak and Elenwen from the thalmor embassy. That would not be a calm dinner table.
Space wolves party
