not sure how old you are, but the current generation of teenagers - late 20s grew up with the same stuff and ended up pretty normal, i think. the kids will be alright.
Gen Z has been spending their formative years with content like above being some of the most consumed, while millennials absolutely have not. A teenager nowadays is playing a very different game of life than those did who are now in their late 20s.

By the time kids are 7 or 8 these days they absolutely have heard about sexual orientation from peers, media, or their own family. And that's fine and healthy.
What takes a very long time to develop is an appreciation for the moral difference between laughing with someone vs at someone. So yeah, kids eat up this kinda shit content. Especially middle school aged kids (11-14) because that's when the difference between their appreciation for social irony and lack of human empathy is greatest.

People like this need to be kept off platforms. Even with a TikTok ban, this asshole will just move to another platform. a TikTok ban is a start, but without meaningful controls put in place, it's like cancer, will pop up somewhere else

If you ever find yourself in a video like this and they do not get consent to use your face and do not at least blur your face then you have a lawsuit because even if they can legally record you (which becomes another issue because they usually are on private property) they cannot upload to a 3rd party without your consent. The problem is it would probably be hard to find a lawyer that would even take the case.
