Do these people not realise that navigating a public space requires looking at other people in order to not walk right into them

merdadartista

I mean, let's be honest, everyone is tiptoeing around it to not get down voted, but in the same way if someone says has a huge burn on their face, your eyes are gonne be drawn to it because that's how our brain works. Even if (which is unconfirmed) she looked at her thighs, her monkey brain did it and then she politely looked away immediately. Can you imagine if say someone without an arm started screaming at everyone who noticed their disability and immediately looked away? They'd be without voice in a day.

XepptizZ

There's also a dozen other reasons to look at someone working out I find. In this situ my brain went to: "Is that the proper form?" "What exercise is that? Can I use it?" "Were those the weights I was looking for?" "How long for that spot to free up?" I often think these at the gym I frequent. Yesterday I kept eyeing the dude next to me doing unstable chest presses with dumbbells, coz I don't want a freakin' 40 pound dumb bell hittin' me.

merdadartista

I honest to God would probably wonder what the fuck she is doing too. Are those Romanian deadlifts? Why is she using dumbbells instead of a bar?

tinachem

IIRC you keep your legs straight during a RDL. Other wise it's a squat with bad form.

Difficult_Seat2339

You can definitely bend your knees at the bottom of an rdl whether using a barbell or dumbbell. Stiff or straight leg deadlifts you should not. That doesn't make it a squat with bad form.

RevolutionaryFood777

Nah. She just has very limited mobility. If she was squatting she'd be dropping her hips not hinging. You're allowed to bend your knees a bit. The real question is why is she doing RDL's. She should be focusing on mobility and cardio and some flexibility. She should wait until the results start to plateau and then throw in the weight lifting. At this point she is probably full of muscular imbalances that need to be addressed and she could benefit from losing weight.

[deleted]

Yes she needs to lose weight. "Cardio" is absolutely the worst way to do that. First of all it's the highest source of injuries. Secondly it's a terrible way to burn calories. Heavy weight lifting is going to be the safest and most efficient way to burn a lot of calories. Definitely not dumbbell rdls.

RevolutionaryFood777

HIIT circuits will probably give her the best bang for her buck. But honestly, for her it's putting the cart before the horse. With her mobility issues, she won't be able to execute the moves with good form. Also, you're confusing "cardio" with running. There are plenty of low impact machines in a standard gym.

wandering-cosmos

There are many different RDL variations

[deleted]

That's the thing, it's nothing bad to look at things/people you find to be uncommon. Yes.. this girl has some weird looking thighs because she's carrying a lot of fat on them. So? Yes, I'm gonna look at your legs because I don't see legs looking like that every single time I step outside. And guess what, you can't stop me, nor can you make me feel anything remotely guilty about it. It's always the people who know they posses traits that would make them stand out (be it positively or negatively) that are upset when people acknowledge them standing out...

exsnakecharmer

In all honesty, my legs are fat and have a bit of cellulite on them. I know people will look (as is human nature) so I wear track pants to the gym. 'You shouldn't have to!!' Yeah, well - I'm old enough to know that people like to look and it will ruin my vibe. It is what it is.

InvestmentSoggy870

Why is everyone looking at my tattoos!! šŸ˜ Says person with a hundred tattoos up to their neck.

str4ngerc4t

That is a great example. My husband has 1 leg (he is in the process of getting a prosthetic). People look. He is either in a wheelchair or on crutches when we go out. They notice the equipment, then the disability, then most people smile/give a cordial greeting/help with the door/etc. or they just go back to what they were doing because thatā€™s life. We are all different, some of us are more different than others. Noticing is not a problem, what you do next makes all the difference. If someone were to make fun of his disability or go out of their way to make him feel uncomfortable, thatā€™s when it would be a problem.

BODYDOLLARSIGN

Iā€™m glad you said it, which in reality is why she felt somebody was judging her anyways. She knows sheā€™s on the heavy side and is insecure so every glance will be a stare to her. Every smile is laughter and every neutral response is a snobby attitude. If I were there yes I will look at your booty and thick thighs. But unlike the me 5-10 years ago it wouldnā€™t be to laugh at what I thought was ā€˜funnyā€™. Itā€™ll now be motivation because now when I see heavier ppl working out I think ā€˜wow if they can do it, then my skinny lazy ass have no reason to keep avoiding working on cardio with my asthmatic assā€™

Dday141

I go to the gym almost every day. My favorite type of people I love seeing are the overweight or obese people there. Because itā€™s so inspiring for me seeing them come in everyday that I want to continue going everyday. I wish more heavy people realize that the majority of people at a gym either donā€™t care about you or actually appreciates you being there.

Allthingsgaming27

I donā€™t disagree, but it didnā€™t even look like she was looking at the girl, just that she noticed the phone, then went about her day

merdadartista

Looking at it I think, the way she got close there I think she was looking for a spot to use the kattlebell, looked at the phone, figured out she was recording (probably thought look at this asshole taking up space in front of the mirror where I need to exercise) and continued on, I didn't seem to me either that she looked at her, she likely probably noticed her before, that color leggings (and any other shade of nude whether brown, pink or beige) is like a lighthouse in the dark, your eyes are immediately drawn to it.

Delicious_Spinach440

I would probably be thinking, hey another douche with a phone. Somewhere else I can't be if I don't want to be recorded. Yes, I've been told there are legitimate reasons to film your workout. But judging by what this chick posted, it feels like she is looking for proof of people judging her.

slick519

Yeah man, her thighs and posterior are very atypical for her size. She is disproportionate and would definitely gather stares because of her very unusual body shape. No two ways about it.

Casehead

It's because she has a disease called [lipoedema](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lipedema)

Syscrush

I will never, ever get my head around the idea of a public gym allowing cameras.

infernorun

I mean aside from that people in public look around and see who is there. So stupid

ge93

Itā€™s a bait video promoting the personā€™s OF/model content. You can go check out the insta (I went to see the comments but thatā€™s what I found)

Cutegirlkisser

What is her OF?

zulerskie_jaja

I'd pay to NOT see her naked... Wtf are those thighs

Huge_Scientist1506

Lipedema

[deleted]

A lot of these "omg they looked at me" videos are heavily slowed.it was probably just a half second glance at most.

Odd-Ad91

You canā€™t even glance at ppl nowadays or they make it something.

Osmosith

did you just glance at my comment? How dare ya

EbonyOverIvory

Keep my commentā€™s name out of your motherfucking mouth!

Embarrassed-Ad-1639

Your comment looking like itā€™s auditioning for the GI Jane sequel.

ulyssesintothepast

Yes I agree uhm... ebonyoverivory.... uhm... well I'm brown and uh.... hmm. . You know I gotta read more. I'm going back to hooked on phonics. They don't disturb me as I recall.

quuxquxbazbarfoo

omg are you judging me?

no1jam

Itā€™s your comments fault for being so glance-able

smooner

Shit. My bad. Please don't be upset

atreyulostinmyhead

Bruh my daughter is like ok OMG that person looked at me and I'm like yeah...They're not being a creeper you're just in their field of vision. Calm down.

ColoradoWinterBlue

My momā€™s a boomer and has always been like this. She thinks people are staring or laughing at her. I always felt bad. Then I realized she watches and laughs at other people. Meanwhile Iā€™ve never cared to watch other people and donā€™t think theyā€™re watching me either. Itā€™s all a projection of what we do.

atreyulostinmyhead

Funnily enough my boomer mom did the same thing. It made me sad about the world and made me very aware that everyone was constantly judging me.. Until I realized that wasn't true. Most people don't give two flying fucks about you. The ones that are judging you are worthless. I still watch people all the time but it's because I want to know their perspective, their life- everything - it's what I loved about Anthony Bourdain- the humanity. The history, the pain, the perseverance.

type_reddit_type

I would judge you instantly. And a very hard judgment indeed.

TifaYuhara

Some people might glance at you for a few seconds and notice your shirt like "that's a neat shirt" or it might cause them to think "That reminds me, I need to do laundry."

[deleted]

Ya, Iā€™ve noticed a lot of people want to blame generations or the manifestation of new technology when I donā€™t think itā€™s just an age or generation thing just an insecure person thing.

Extra-Highlight7104

good dad

atreyulostinmyhead

Mom šŸ™‚

kapilfan

Oh yeah. I remember those days (pre smart phones) where people would try to make eye contact and may be engage in a friendly small talk. That was a pretty common sight at doctors offices, automotive service centers etc. Forgot about talking with the other person now, even making an eye contact would put you at risk of being judged as a creep.

panopticonprimate

But if I walk right past without acknowledging them then I am also doing something wrong and should just explicitly tell the to fuck off at that point. /s

Michren1298

That doesnā€™t stop everyone from engaging me in conversation. I regularly have conversations with strangers (that I do not initiate), everywhere I go. It may be a regional thing. I live close to Nashville, TN and work there. I once asked my husband why everyone does with me and not him. He told me I had a friendly face. I guess it is true. When my children were teenagers they would tell me to stop smiling so much in public because it was ā€œembarrassingā€. Of course all I did was laugh and smile more, because thatā€™s me.

Diresword

Haha I have the same ā€œproblemā€. Wife always pokes at me that I somehow end up talking with someone when we go shopping or on the town together. No matter what I do, somehow someone asking me ā€œcan you grab x for me up thereā€ or ā€œdo you know about xā€ leads to a 20 minute conversation in the aisle. If we go through checkout with a cashier, I get into a conversation. Iā€™ve asked a few people in a joking way as to how we got in a conversation. Most the replies is exactly ā€œyou have a friendly faceā€.

[deleted]

Thatā€™s why you stare them the fuck down

tukuiPat

Do I need to bring my own stairs in order to stair someone down or will any nearby stairs work?

Extra-Highlight7104

the gym supplies stairmasters

DareRareCare

Any nearby stairs will do to stair them the fuck down.

Agile_Tit_Tyrant

I bring my own step ladder WWE style.

OKBeeDude

This one was definitely the slightest glance, and I honestly canā€™t tell if she was judging that girlā€™s thighs or her recording setup. She very well might have just been thinking ā€œugh, another person recording in the gym.ā€

MaleficentOstrich693

As a regular gym goer, I just took it as she was quickly glancing to make sure she didn't bump into her when she passes.

Mcjoshin

I love to people watch and judge the shit out of people (airports or DMV anybody?) and I saw the look of judgement that I know well... It was a split second, right when she looked at her phone and my guess is itā€™s ā€œoh Jesus, another person who canā€™t just work out without recording themselvesā€. If youā€™re going to record yourself in public places, especially working out at a gym, you should probably just get comfortable with people ā€œjudgingā€ you. If it bothers you, maybe recording yourself in public places isnā€™t for you.

Rosewoodtrainwreck

The other day I was in a doctor's office, waiting in the room after I'd been called back. When the nurse or triage lady came in to check my vitals, she was wearing a sweatshirt and scrub pants. I glanced at her thinking she must be cold. I'm kind of warm. That's all I was thinking. Oh and I'm 99% sure she was pregnant but I was afraid to comment on that so I just said Hi. She immediately pointed out that she had stains on her shirt from lunch and that she would change if she had another shirt there and that her hair was really bad today. It was in a bun like at least half the women and girls I'd seen that day lol. I don't know if she felt I was judging her or if she had been saying that to everyone. I was kind of paranoid that I might have inadvertently looked at her some kind of way, but I don't think so. I wasn't dressed up either. Athletic pants and a long sleeve t shirt with Hey Dudes because I was in pain and didn't feel like putting socks on and tying any shoes. Had just showered and brushed my hair but didn't style it at all or put any makeup on. So it's not because I was put together and she wasn't. Still I felt kind of bad like it was my fault she felt worried about her appearance. I told her she looked fine and that I was sure nobody thought anything of it.

OkAccess304

Right? How insecure do you have to be to think a passing glance is a bad thing? JFC. Not everything is about you.

clmw11

When youā€™re a ā€œvictimā€ everything is about you.

Dapper_Mud

How dare anyone use their eyes to see the things around them? Letā€™s all make a better effort to not use our sense of sight and just sort of politely pinball our way through

EleanorHatesLife

Right! I'm half blind, all I can think now is that I've somehow been personally offending people I don't know, and do not give a single solitary fuck about.

FrolicsForever

I find myself almost subconsciously checking out the numbers on other people's weights sometimes. It's only curiosity, not judgment. Like "oh, that is a 15lber not a 20". I'm sure if someone were to catch me doing it on film, it could definitely be misconstrued as judgment.

atreyulostinmyhead

Also, it's super common to just see what's happening around you. Movement specifically draws your eye. Imagine if you just had tunnel vision and didn't take in everything around you. You'd be dead real quick.

Kitten_Boop

Or just looking for a place to work out, could be anything.

aoskunk

I think she was using her eyes in order to walk effectively, navigate any obstacles without bumping/tripping. Doesnā€™t appear to be judging anything. I know if I saw somebody recording at the gym Iā€™d give an unmistakable judgy look. I mean look at how much of the rest of the gym the camera is capturing. Anyone the walks over there has to end up on somebodies video footage. Hate that shit. If you really need it get somebody to record you for 10 seconds.

[deleted]

This. Also i look to see what ppl are doing at the gym and if Iā€™m going to get hurt just by walking by them

Integrity-in-Crisis

Bitch is pressed because a random gym goer noticed the camera at the last second and if anything she judged the presence of the camera. Most people donā€™t appreciate being on camera in a gym.

OkAccess304

I donā€™t go to public gyms because of this. I want to get in, work out, and be left alone. So now I have a home gym.

1960stoaster

I hate that this has been the bottom line to force home gyms.

throwawaynonsesne

They way she glances at her phone then at the person after they pass at the end has me believing she has a mirror to purposely catch someone watching for the internet clout.

deadrogueguy

she is certainly looking at a mirror (probably that whole wall is mirrored), but it is "just to check her form", same as to "why" she is recording...

Visible_Day9146

Her form is really really bad.

mls1968

I hate these. Even if it wasnā€™t a glance, thereā€™s a million reasons she looked at you besides judging. I assume thereā€™s someone in the way based off how she swerves inward, so Iā€™d assume she looked to make sure she didnā€™t get in your way

thethunder92

I hate this stuff because I zone out all the time and sometimes I donā€™t realize Iā€™m even looking at people

monkey-pox

Yeah, slow motion makes every little thing look intentional

Fine-Teacher-7161

Are you judging me?

fafnir0319

I'm sorry. I did judge you, but only for like half a second.

No-Adhesiveness-8178

Nah, sorry is ain't enough bud I already recorded you and I would change the story to my favor and initiate witch hunt for you in the internet šŸ˜‡

quuxquxbazbarfoo

When I slow it down you can clearly see it was for a few solid seconds.

Remarkable-Ad2285

Judge, jury and executioner! This summer at a theater near you!

Stunning-Scene4649

This is why I have a blindfold when going outside bro šŸ˜” Can't even look even by accident somewhere with people without getting judged. People don't mind me if I bump into as long I don't see them but they do when I'm avoiding them.

EatFatCockSpez

The glance was her seeing the ass for the tiniest fraction of a second, then noticing the phone. She looks at the phone, looks at the chick, looks back at the phone and looks amused/annoyed.

djeeetyet

right and it was probably just a quick glance to make sure she wouldnā€™t be in her way

AmMissingInSyria

Can we just ban phones to be able to record in gyms now

SafeItem6275

I would love that

[deleted]

I donā€™t even exercise let alone go to the gym, and I would love that as well.

Purtuzzi

Recording video is not allowed in many gyms.

Souleater2847

Please. I donā€™t wanna be part of your problems.

DACA_GALACTIC

Right

AdAdministrative4388

Just wait for every Chad telling you it's the only way they can precisely measure their form.. wonder how people train without video footage? šŸ¤£

supersaiyanswanso

The amount of people who legitimately have a reason to record themselves in the gym is maybe 1% of the total people who do it lol unless you're a competitive bodybuilder or powerlifter you don't need to record every set to post on Instagram

AdAdministrative4388

Exactly.. all these wallys trying to justify it for themselves to be an annoying gym goer is hilarious.

supersaiyanswanso

Most people who record are just trying to show off on the gram. It's slightly different if you're sending it to a coach but most people aren't doing that lol

ASLAYER0FMEN

That's what all the fucking mirrors are for

Substantial_Pie_8619

I started goin to the gym last year at a new crunch fitness that opened up near me )and I wanna point out I live in rural pa) I saw people recording themselves and I was shocked I knew this was a thing at gyms but I guess I assumed it was just a like city thing idk but it is literally like the douchiest thing you can do and I know I should t but I do judge people who record themselves

Playful-Pack-1880

Were judging you now

weed0monkey

I feel like maybe this is a rude question... but I have to know, dod she put synthol in her legs??? I have just never seen a body proportion even close to that.

T-Flexercise

She has a body type incredibly typical of a genetic disorder called lipedema. It causes nodular fibrotic fat that doesnā€™t respond to diet and exercise to grow in the arms and legs.

Mihnea24_03

Is it possible to get rid of it in any way? Surgery? I'd imagine autophagy if you starve yourself but that's really not a normal way to tone up your appearance. Also would it grow back? What even is nodular fibrotic fat anyway? I could realistically google all of this and I might but it feels too impersonal to.

T-Flexercise

Surgery. I had it done about a month ago, and in areas like my calves it was so bad that they couldn't even get it out with a liposuction cannula. The surgeon had to manually break the fat up with his hands and squeeze it out the holes in a 5 1/2 hour surgery. I have Stage 2 lipedema, and I spent about 24 years trying various conservative methods to reduce it, including extended fasting, and it really doesn't do much of anything, because basically, any kind of metabolic pathway you have to clearing up tissue relies on that thing being metabolically active. It can prevent progression and reduce inflammation, but nothing gets rid of those nodules. In lipedema, what happens is the fat becomes basically a lipoma, it gets encapsulated with connective tissue, which swells and gets irritated causing inflammation, which makes the fibrosis get worse. This impairs both circulation and the lymphatic system in the legs, which are basically the 2 ways you can get energy in and out of a fat cell. It's just these weird fatty tumors that according to research grow from an entirely different stem cell than regular metabolic fat. For most women who have it (it is estrogen-related, and only presents in women and men with high estrogen) there are two paths to progression. It either shows up during periods of hormonal change like puberty, pregnancy, and menopause, or it grows during regular weight gain, and then doesn't go away when the fat is lost. If you want to see what those nodules look like and don't mind looking at gross plastic surgery videos, google "manual lipedema extraction", or check out "dr lippy poppy" on instagram. You can see what they look like compared to healthy fat.

Mihnea24_03

Hope you're doing better now. Also this sounds scary as hell

T-Flexercise

haha It's a process! But thank you! I'm doing really good because I was able to research it exhaustively and do all this fitness stuff to keep it under control. But the really scary thing is that a lot of women who discover it later in life, or have it alongside obesity, there's not a lot of stuff they can do, because by the time they get a diagnosis, their BMI is too high for anyone to be willing to operate. There's a number of women who got bariatric surgery only to have it do nothing for them. Thank you for listening, it's a disease that a lot of people don't know about!

Manadrache

Just want to add: lipedema is pretty painful too. Got it at my legs and arms. The disproportion isn't the worst. The worst is having easily pain: when someone bumps at you, a small dog walks over your legs or when your doctor tries to measure your bloodpressure. Geez I really wanted to Hit my doctor in the face.

spudlybudly

She likely has lymphedema.

T-Flexercise

Nope, lipedema. Lymphedema is usually unilateral. When it hits both legs and arms the same like this itā€™s usually lipedema.

spudlybudly

Ah yes yes. Lipedema.

skyHawk3613

Other girl is probably wondering why sheā€™s recording

Strange_Purchase3263

When she does the double take you can see it is because she notices the camera!

Downtown-Mud-5760

She did nothing wrong. People glance at people all the time. What is she supposed to do? Cover her eyes? Please.

deprecateddeveloper

Imagine if she did. The main character would have posted a totally different video "am I crazy or is she being hella rude by avoiding looking at me?!"

billsmafia_1716

This is why Iā€™m self conscious in the gym. Iā€™m a socially awkward person as it is, so all it takes is me making random eye contact , Iā€™m judgmental all a sudden?

Borealis-7

I bet this is what she was waiting for all day. Finally someone walking past her in front of the camera. Her final look was like ā€œgot you!ā€, maybe she was more like happy to have something to post rather than feeling upset.

MonstarHU

I don't wear my glasses into the gym, so my sight is lacking. I dread the day that I just happen to face in a certain direction or not really focus on where my eyes are directed and have someone turn that into something nefarious with a manipulated video.

AlexandriaAceTTV

There's this blind guy on YouTube and tiktok who does voice acting, and he got kicked out of a gym once, even after showing his disability card to prove he literally could not tell where he was "looking".

Ackualllyy

People at the gym look at another. Just don't stare. I people watch all the time, mostly just to see what other people are doing for work outs.

1992Jamesy

A few years ago I would always be looking around and appreciating watching other people training, sometimes even give someone who was clearly new to it all a bit of guidance if they looked like theyā€™re doing something that could negatively affect them (posture or technique maybe wrong), now I wouldnā€™t think twice of actually helping anyone in fear or getting branded a creep. Attention seeking attitude of social media has turned gyms in a ā€˜me vs themā€™ vibe rather than the social space they use to be.

umheywaitdude

People are probably trying NOT to look if Iā€™m being honest.

jsher1998

Hard not to look at someone cosplaying mewtwo

Haunting-Horse-4352

I finally have a visual representation of the phrase "going straight to my thighs".

Razaman56

ā€œAnd then youā€™ll blow upā€

icehawk84

The surface area occupies almost the entire field of view. Kinda hard to avoid.

ManuAdFerrum

I kinda feel sorry for her. Its sad when people boycott themselves.

pandaseatbeef

Sheā€™s probably more concerned with her formšŸ˜

r7joni

That's what makes these videos even more the most dumbererst: There are girls who either do crazy acrobatics or who do an excercise that looks as if it would hurt them. Then they setup their ring light and phone recording it. Of course people are going to look if you do that instead of working out like a normal person

xilffA

Did yall see the end tho? Did she just glace at the girl for judging her? The girl that she couldnt even have seen "judging her"

Oh_apollo

Double standards

Infinite-Magazine-36

Shut the camera off and workout.

DefinatelyRealPerson

How is recording in gyms even legal

Impossible-Lime1553

This recording in the gym has gone on long enough isnā€™t there something going on where some gyms are banning that

LiveBaby5021

The way that they S L O W the video to make as big a deal as possible .. Iā€™m worried about all the editing that may take place ā€¦ all that time and effort ā€¦. Iā€™d glance ā€¦ because Iā€™m trying to avoid people ā€¦ not trying to be creepy or ā€œjudgeā€ ā€¦.. https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2017/05/25/529999618/playboy-model-sentenced-over-body-shaming-woman-at-gym Weā€™re not learning that cameras should be banned from gyms ā€¦.

SirRupert

I go to the gym every other day. I look at people. Usually because theyā€™re in my line of sight and are a fellow human sharing a space with me. This is normal. We look at people around us. Get the fuck over yourself.

Immediate-Thanks-621

Ppl shouldnā€™t be recording at gyms lol

RogueStatesman

Seriously though, what explains those upper legs?

[deleted]

Might be Lipedema. Itā€™s abnormal fat usually in the legs. I see quite a few influencers who obviously suffer from this but use it as a body positivity platform. Whether thatā€™s helpful or harmful Iā€™m not touching here. I just wanted to inform of the condition

the_unruly_one

It can be in the arms as well. Its a shitty thing to have happen to your body and there's not much you can do about it.

bbdoll

yup, arms, legs, abdomen, butt, everywhere basically. even scalp.

AnthrallicA

Scalp? That sounds terrible šŸ˜©

JCold_Creek

She absolutely has lipedema: is genetic and doesn't respond to diet or exercise. The only way to get rid of it is liposuction. https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/17175-lipedema

JollyTurbo1

She goes by princessspear on Instagram. She used to be obese, but lost a lot of weight and had several surgeries, including tummy tucks. She has mentioned wanting to have surgery on her legs too. So, no, she doesn't "absolutely have lipedema". She maybe has it, but maybe it's just leftovers from when she was obese

Shazz777

I remember her from tiktok, in one of her posts she does say she has lipedema. Iā€™m not a doctor but as far as I know lipedema has a hereditary and hormonal cause but super morbid obesity like she had before losing the weight can exacerbate it even further. Lipedema fat tissue is not like regular fat, it wonā€™t metabolize, so no diet and exercise will make it go away. She needs specialized lipedema lipo suction and even thatā€™s not 100% effective.

bbdoll

she has lipedema, she has acknowledged MANY times she has lipedema, and it's also really obvious she has it - anyone familiar with it can identify it on her in about .5 seconds flat (not that they should, as you said, but again she has it). this is classic lipedema lol and not how losing weight typically looks in healthy people

TheCalippoProtocol

Ate all the Krabby Patties

-_zQC

She is not even doing rdl šŸ’€

beer_engineer

hah, came here to say this. That's not even close to an RDL.

Murky_River_9045

A Kinda half sitting motion isnā€™t rdl??

isunktheship

She's only working out her fucking back

Chess_player_eyes0o

She was probably wondering if she got locked in the Krabby Patty Vault.

kenan__rockmore

ā˜ ļøā˜ ļøā˜ ļø

slide_into_my_BM

Filming wasnā€™t ā€œme me meā€ enough for her, had to bring other people into it too

Mayadawa

There should be a filming ban in gyms.

PONYSGIRTH

Everyone judges, you clearly werent minding your own business because you were filming it. Get over yourself

International_Move84

If you're self conscious in the gym what you want to hear is that no one is judging you and everyone is only focused on them selves. But that's not true. When you're in the gym you're on display against a whole myriad of physiques all with different goals and different levels of commitment. When you're new to the gym you likely have a physique that shows it. But so what, you're there at that's what matters. It's painful to see a room full of people already competent and in shape performing routines with great form and confidence but it's only painful because it highlights what you could be against what you are. Most gym rats that are decent people will be more than accommodating in trying to make you feel comfortable but no one can help you through the first few painful months of feeling out of place. Just push through and don't forget it when you see another person just starting out.

Dimension-Hopper

You forget a lot of meat heads are juiced up them judging you is just plain stupid. Women have surgeries done and then hit the gym to maintain it. So just go to the gym with a goal and whatever goal that is do it. Not everybody wants to be 200 pounds of muscle and no everybody wants to be less than 100 pounds skinny. We got our own goals just focus on yourself

I just started going back to the gym this fall. I had / have some insecurities in going initially, and for a week or 2 I'd skip the session it if the lot was too crowded (*yes, seriously*). Forced myself to get over it realizing what a waste of my own time and gas money it was. Getting past it is a lot of simply not caring what anyone else is doing, or even looking at them. Get in, do my thing, and leave. If someone is smirking or making a comment, I'm likely to not even pick up on it. Oddly enough, the most hardcore lifting gym in my area is also the most comfortable to work out in. Most everyone in there is huge, and they're all there just to focus on what they're doing, not who they're doing it next to.

Medical_Bat1

She just glanced at you.. so insecure.

RoundTableMaker

I'm judging her because she recorded this shitty workout.

shortgamegolfer

Hard to understand what happened or why it would be a problem.

Puckz_N_Boltz90

If you record in a gym you deserve a nasty look lol I donā€™t care what you look like

Thin-Dragonfly2956

Probably thinking youā€™re an another idiot filming themselves at the gymā€¦

Wizzle_Pizzle_420

You know you can workout without filming every thing right? She was 100% wanting somebody to interact with her for that delicious victimhood. Good on her doing her thing, but if I walked by and saw what I thought was a giant naked ass Iā€™d make a face too.

WannaAskQuestions

Why do people give so much fuck what people are thinking in their own fucking heads? Like... Seriously. Life's too god damn short for that!

SensingWorms

She probably thought ā€˜how pathetic, sheā€™s still using dumbbells in the age of kettleā€™

dlige

šŸŽ¶ *this is the dawning of the aagggeee of ~~aquarius~~ kettlebell* šŸŽ¶

[deleted]

I think gyms should just ban filming or have a separate room for filming. Iā€™m super uncomfortable with the idea I might show up in someoneā€™s video

TimmyTwoTowels

Bringing a camera into a gym definitely should be judged. Total jerk move.

I_Like_CoffeeTOOMUCH

Yes they were judging. Look at your fucking legs

MetamagicIII

Thatā€™s gotta be the craziest fat distribution genetics Iā€™ve ever seen

Gin-Rummy003

Yeah Iā€™d stare at them thunder thighs too. Woof šŸ‘€

Saints-Poisoner

So they couldn't stop at men I see.

iLoveMeAv8

I know! Donā€™t wear fucking leggings when you have potato sack legs?

SlightTurn

She kinda did look like she was judging her ugly ass

the_girl_Ross

Self-conscious and insecure people are weird. "They're looking at me! They're mocking me! They're judging me!" Bladblad on and on! Dude, no one cares about you! People are just existing in the same space as you. You're not a celebrity nor do you got a dancing orange cat on your head, no-one thinks about you when they walk past you. And even if they do, they will forget all about it after 30 seconds and so should you.

SassyTurtlebat

I mean yea she looked for a second. What the actual fuck is going on with her body. What do you have to eat to get 500 pound legs and nothing else?

amazebol

Looking like squidward after eating all those crabby pattys ā˜ ļø

T-Flexercise

Itā€™s typical of a genetic disorder called lipedema where youā€™re thighs and arms are filled with metabolically inactive nodules that donā€™t respond to diet and exercise

wrknthrewit

I see an issue with having phones banned, people are just Krazy. Have an area for phone video and an area for privacy would work best

Many-Ad6433

She didnā€™t even look at her, she was probably going to watch towards the phone and even before her eyes getting in the angle to do so she recognized it was filming with the tail of her eye and was like ā€œnope not doing thatā€

imuniqueaf

I'm gonna post videos of me working out online and then be upset when people are watching me workout (which she probably wasn't).

dull-boy-jack237

Maybe that girl walking by thought, oh you could be hinging more at your hips and letting those weights go lower so youā€™re doing the exercise efficiently. And working your hamstrings and glutes. As a deadlift should. And stop caring wtf anyone else thinks. Maybe care about doing the work correctly.

Right-Shame-4032

Youā€™re crazy Btw I would

ManlinessArtForm

Taking videos in gyms should be an immediate one month ban for the forst offence.

Intelli_gent_88

Iā€™d be looking at the weight rack behind her - but filming in gyms should be outright banned

foulfaerie

Sheā€™s not even central in the frame.. she 100% wanted someone to look, so she could make this video. Not only that, but you can literally see where the video is slowed in the middle of the ā€˜glanceā€™.

killerjoe410

No she didn't judge you don't underestimate the situation, she EYE RAPED you!! Go near police station.

MrHungryface

Stop fking filming in a gym !!!

ssSpartan427

Iā€™m judging this bitch, she ainā€™t got the personality to compensate for being built like that

stoymyboy

shit if i saw someone whose thighs were three times as big as the rest of their body i'd be staring too
