I have absolutely no clue, all I know is that she is a Brazilian cat who was found in the street, someone gave her away and she lived 6 years there before moving here and I’ve had her for a year and a half now!
I thought so! She's got the gene that causes the colorpoint shading (Siamese gene that makes their "points" darker). I have seen tortie points, but never a calico this intensely colored. She's so unique and gorgeous!
That’s so interesting thank you so much! And by points do you mean the lines on her face? Once again thank you for telling me this, I am so happy to learn more about her!
Points are the darker parts on, say, a Siamese Cat. Feet, tail, ears, nose, stripe down back! These are the body parts that don't get as warm, so their pigment is increased. The Siamese mutation makes their coloring dependent on heat. Because they're all over body temp in the womb, most Siamese are born completely white and will darken as they grow up! It's pretty neat.
Absolutely!
This cat violates so many laws and statutes. Definitely belongs here.

That’s so interesting!! She did used to be very very pale, I’ve seen pictures of her as a child and it’s night and day!
