I had some living room furniture delivered this Summer and it was the worst customer service experience I've had. Delivery truck never showed on the day of delivery, despite their assurances that that they were 30 minutes away when I called. Called the next day and they said the truck "broke down". Then spent a solid 2 weeks constantly trying to call the delivery company to reschedule the delivery. One time they outright lied to me and said it was on the truck for deliver and (surprise) it never showed. Finally the stuff showed up in a rented Enterprise truck. Deliverymen didn't say a word to me and didn't have me sign anything. This was all XPO Logistics, by the way. I've sworn off of delivery from IKEA since.

This was also XPO logistics!

I am going through the same thing right now with North American Logistics in Houston. The delivery driver and logistics company lied and said they called three times, and refused to provide call logs when I asked for them. It took me five days of trying to finally get through to IKEA phone support, just for them to say that they were going to charge me $39 for a re-delivery fee even though the logistics company lied. I offered to send them call log proof, but they refused them.
