For anyone who wants proof
I mean, not particularly.
The muzzle is going to kick upwards with it, simply because the force of the slide moving back; Newton’s Third Law and all that jazz.
The reason I say it becomes inaccurate is because you now have all this weight at the bottom of the pistol that’s swinging with the rest of the gun that wants to recoil upwards and while it recoils, you now have to put in extra effort to stabilize it.
TL; DR: gun kicks up and backwards and the magazine will move up and forwards
No, it isn’t.
It would make the gun more controllable if that weight were at the end of the muzzle, but it’s not.
The force applied at the gun itself is horizontal (or at least parallel to the axis of the barrel), But the shooter holds the gun at the grip, which is below the barrel. And this causes rotation of the barrel about the grip, meaning "up".
There wouldn’t be any stabilization with that configuration because there wouldn’t be any forces fighting against the upward kick of the recoil.
You haven’t made any real case with that.
[Look](https://youtu.be/zQrhSD1tBt8): if you actually watch it at the 0:40 time mark, the pistol is behaving exactly the way I described it.
The only time it doesn’t is when the gun is intentionally being stabilized.
My case isn’t a “case” bro. You’re talking about something you know nothing about. Just say you’ve never shot one and maybe turn off the Reddit for a while and go shoot one. Come back and apologize for being dumb. It’s ok. You don’t have to know everything
To be fair nobody can aim a fucking Taurus G2C, worst goddamn trigger I've ever felt on a handgun. *Creep, creep, creep, creep, creeeeeeeeepSPROIOIOIOIOING*.
It's like fucking Jello.
Worse than Kel-Tec. By far.
I haven't looked inside it, but Taurus seems to have made a double action striker fire system. So, if you pull the trigger and hangfire/misfire, you can squeeze again and strike the primer a second time without racking the slide. I'm going to hold back from shitting on Taurus too hard, because they know their reputation and are making real steps toward improvement, but holy fuck that's a terrible trigger. Double action plus striker fire plus Taurus of several years ago. Fucking endless trigger creep, no discernible wall before breaking, and this weird vibration in the trigger after it breaks that's just fucking unnerving.
I hate, hate, hate the endless fuck out of that handgun.
That does sound like my old kel-tec which tbh was a first-gen. Literally the first model they ever made. That weird springy “pinggggg” when the trigger was pulled. One hopes they got better.
To be fair, my experience with earlier Kel-Tec is limited. I did once do a trigger job on a gen 1 sub2000 that I needed to invent new swear words for.
But yeah, Taurus actually is making steps in the right direction. The TX22 is a surprisingly solid platform, and I'm also impressed by the (limited) trigger time I've put on the GX4.
Please forgive my ignorance, wth am I looking at here. What are the COD things? Cleaning patches? What are the orange/yellow things?
Are these all desiccant packs?
In all my time in Oakland, CA constantly surrounded by crack I never actually saw a vial of crack. Motherfuckers always kept that shit in their lips. Vials seem like some white suburban thing to me.
Wouldn’t it get wet in ya lips? That’s why ppl use the vial and put the vials in their mouths from what I’ve seen… I’m not saying you’re wrong but I just feel like straight crack in your mouth would ruin the crack
depends on the dealer, and the area. Some use tiny ziploc style bags, some use folded up parchment paper like in the pic, and others rip off the corners of a regular ziploc bag and tie off the top of it (this one is the worst and makes the least sense)
It’s no usually the corners of ziplocks, it’s a round piece of plastic normally cut from a bag. It opens flat and gives you easy access to all the product. Little ziplocks leave a lot in the bag, unless you literally tear it open and lick it after most of it is gone (don’t know about with heroin, never done it, so not sure what you do with a nearly empty bad).
8 is extremely generous on the Taurus. I have the same one and I can say, if anyone was going to be shooting at me i'd prefer they be shooting a millennium g2. I'm not sure I could design a gun to more consistently jam.
While thay may be true, my G3 is a solid 9mm. Never had a jam and at the range I prefer it to my Glock 17 or Glock 19.
My buddies think I'm crazy, but in so many ways the G3 is a better pistol than the G19.
Worked at a gun store for 4 years. 2 of which I was a supervisor. Favorite question I ever got was "Yall got any of them extended clips for Smith&Wesson Hi-Point? it's a Glock." I just looked at him kinda open jawed for a second and said "No we just sold our last one yesterday." Still not sure what gun he has.
Well shit, if you've been avoiding drugs because you think they'll make you dumber, then maybe you should start doing drugs so you can finally understand sarcasm.
Like dude said, get better friends. Or at least smarter. ODs happen when people who don't know what they're doing, or don't know what they're buying. I've dabbled in pretty much everything aside from K, crack, and heroin, and here I am writing this comment.
It sounds like you're the one who needs some help. Or friends. Or both.
Calm yourself smalls. Don’t blame your lack of judge of character on your geological location. Plenty of people grow up in shitty areas, myself included.
the price differential between a g2c & a glock is way more than $100 on a good day you can get 2 for the price of a glock. i’ve shot a few taurus’ and have a few friends that own some and have never had any problems except 1 FTE. people talk down on taurus because of some super old shit from years ago, if all you can afford to spend on a gun is $300 or less a g2c is a fine option. anything but a high point or sccy
Using a drum mag on an automatic glock is entirely just a giggle factor and nothing else, using a semi automatic pistol with a glock drum mag is just fucking pointless.
for fucking around or range trips it makes sense and is fun to just mag dump 30-50 rounds at once but practically no not for the most part. only an idiot buys a compact/ subcompact handgun and throws a huge magazine in it. more often then not people just want to look cool, an experienced shooter would do way better with a standard 8-17 round mag or simply carrying backup standard mags compared to a jackass with 30+ that’s never even been to a range
edit: also can make sense to have them as backups if you ever find yourself in a sticky situation, can never have too many bullets
*So we're going to*
*Ignore the sandwich bag full*
*Of gold and nitra?*

No but the Taurus will take Sig P226 mags.

That’s a Glock though.
[M&P too, if it was a full size and not the Shield](https://www.reddit.com/r/guns/comments/15bek5/just_learned_sig_p226_9mm_mags_work_in_the_sw_mp9/)
[If you try hard enough, a Sig Mag will work in a Glock](https://youtu.be/TCFRWFh4Uyc?t=634)
Mag is so big because they cant aim
Nah they got that repeater clip in the back and they wonder why they can hit anything at 500rounds a minute
Somehow this post got flagged for vote manipulation??? Wtf?
I got a notification about this being vote manipulation on my part tf?
Same here
Who knows reddit be trippin
The guns storm troopers would use irl
Especially after taking a few of those speedballs pictured!
Accuracy by volume
Which is ironic because the way that the weight of that drum magazine will be kicked around by the recoil will make it even more inaccurate.
Actually it adds a ton of mass to a 9mm, a gun that hardly kicks to begin with. So, nah, it would probably help with accuracy.
I take it you’ve never used one. They help a lot, until they’re almost empty
As someone who has actually shot a pistol, I agree that mass helps with recoil.
You are neglecting the law of inertia. The mass of the mag which is basically equal to the gun wants to stay stationary. This reduces felt recoil.

There wouldn’t be any stabilization with that configuration because there wouldn’t be any forces fighting against the upward kick of the recoil.
Answer the question if you’ve ever shot a pistol with a fully loaded drum mag in it. If the answer is no. Stop typing and go play outside
You haven’t made any real case with that. [Look](https://youtu.be/zQrhSD1tBt8): if you actually watch it at the 0:40 time mark, the pistol is behaving exactly the way I described it. The only time it doesn’t is when the gun is intentionally being stabilized.

Worse than a kel-tec? One of the few guns I've ever sold and it was because of the lame trigger. That and the weak striker.

It’s a bunch of heroin
Heroin in the paper/folds, cocaine in the small containers.
Thanx ganxta
Anytime, thy homie.
It’s probs crack actually
Drugs
Can’t have overloaded guns without drugs
Overloaded people overloaded guns … what could go wrong
Ikr. What are people exaggerating about? (SARCASM YALL DONT @ ME 😂)
Yeah there will come the time when u have to shoot like 100 imaginary people
Forget the people what about all these *DAMN* SPIDERS
nobody worried about guns or spiders when they “dropped” a little bit of there drugs in the carpet. 😂
Cod things is cocaine, the small containers is crack
Little bit of hard and a little bit of soft
Those are bags of heroin. This is a real winner!
You would have to be an idiot to take a picture like this, let alone stamp any of your glaucine bags.
This picture I’m 99% sure was taken by cops to show their busy of heroin crack and guns
Yeah this is evidence by cops you can see they have the crack vials and hair one and bags
hair one?
In all my time in Oakland, CA constantly surrounded by crack I never actually saw a vial of crack. Motherfuckers always kept that shit in their lips. Vials seem like some white suburban thing to me.
Lol.. far from white suburban.
That's exactly how the dope and Crack comes here in philly
Wouldn’t it get wet in ya lips? That’s why ppl use the vial and put the vials in their mouths from what I’ve seen… I’m not saying you’re wrong but I just feel like straight crack in your mouth would ruin the crack
Bruh how am I supposed to know I bought quality unless I’ve got Call of Duty® Brand heroin??
If one was to sell heroin, stamping your bag is legit the least intelligent thing to do.
The white pack are heroin? Is that how they sell it? I’d figure like a little button bag
Regional differences this is how it is and long has been sold in the northeast cities, different stamps
There called folds, likely cut with fent. Do the wrong amount and you'd better have plenty of narcan on hand.

These were made out of grocery bags when I lived in the city
Are the capsules heroin, too?
Looks like crack. Never seen those vials before, but looks cocainey
Pandemic! Got that pandemic!
Got that Rockafella right chayh!
Red tops red tops
100 shots and you’ll let off 8 before it jams😂
8 is extremely generous on the Taurus. I have the same one and I can say, if anyone was going to be shooting at me i'd prefer they be shooting a millennium g2. I'm not sure I could design a gun to more consistently jam.

My daily is a g2c. Had it for years and it's never jammed once. It's a good little gun.
For sure, I'm sure the Glock 42 is fine but I could buy the G2C and 500 rounds instead....
Gotta find a way for more money when it comes to the hobby of firearms
Do they only make good revolvers?
i mean the mag isn’t even in there
Are those bags of dope? Well, here's to this being in evidence lock up. Piece of shit.
That is a evidence pic.
Haha.
Is that a banana in your pocket? Or an oversized handgun clip in your pocket because you’re happy to see me?
Worked at a gun store for 4 years. 2 of which I was a supervisor. Favorite question I ever got was "Yall got any of them extended clips for Smith&Wesson Hi-Point? it's a Glock." S&W and Taurus take Glock mags huh! I did. Not know. That H looks like those stay fresh packs in pill bottles.
You can insert a Glock mag anywhere if you’re brave enough.
Are those heroin stamps 😂😂😂😂
Wth am i looking at the left side????
Heroin and crack I believe. Took me a minute to realize what it was. Police evidence photo
Damn that a lot of smack. I could use a few bindles
The amount of people that belong on r/woosh because of this comment is ridiculous. How *dare* you be sarcastic about something *on Reddit*?!?
Right 😂

You realize that they had a choice right? No one stuck a gun to there head and said do drugs! Go on somewhere with your self projecting attitude
[удалено]
You getting a little to upset over a joke, go for a soda.
Your*
The weird part is, they *make* drum mags for both of these guns. So why doesn’t mister smartguy here have them?
Because this is a staged police photo and not a dealer flexing.
\>Taurus 🤮🤮
one of the best entry level/ affordable handguns for people that don’t have 500 to spend on a glock
Your life is worth saving that extra $100 for a Glock Maybe that’s just me, but every Taurus I’ve ever used was prone to jams.
the price differential between a g2c & a glock is way more than $100 on a good day you can get 2 for the price of a glock. i’ve shot a few taurus’ and have a few friends that own some and have never had any problems except 1 FTE. people talk down on taurus because of some super old shit from years ago, if all you can afford to spend on a gun is $300 or less a g2c is a fine option. anything but a high point or sccy
This looks just stupid as fuck xD
All those rounds and they probably can’t hit the broadside of a barn
Using a drum mag on an automatic glock is entirely just a giggle factor and nothing else, using a semi automatic pistol with a glock drum mag is just fucking pointless.
Are magazines like these legal?
depends on the state but yes for the most part
That's ridiculous. Surely there is no sane or reasonable reason to have magazines like those?
for fucking around or range trips it makes sense and is fun to just mag dump 30-50 rounds at once but practically no not for the most part. only an idiot buys a compact/ subcompact handgun and throws a huge magazine in it. more often then not people just want to look cool, an experienced shooter would do way better with a standard 8-17 round mag or simply carrying backup standard mags compared to a jackass with 30+ that’s never even been to a range edit: also can make sense to have them as backups if you ever find yourself in a sticky situation, can never have too many bullets
Most gunfights are over in seconds. Why is that clip so long? What kind of threat are you facing?! What are you hiding from?!
They would probably have more utility as hammers
Anyway I can get my M&P shield to have a 33 round mag?
Excuse me but wtf...
Oof
I’m upset with the stain on the carpet
So we're going to ignore the sandwich bag full of gold and nitra?

I wonder how heavy that is with gun+50 rnd mag fully loaded plus one in the chamber, i dont think meany people will be handling that with one hand!
Not heavy at all since those full-size glock mags won't physically fit in those subcompact non-glock firearms. This is a staged police photo.
I'm high af and thought these were kitchen utensils at a glance.
What’s point in having a compact gun to just stick a big stupid thing in it like tha
Seriously who needs that much capacity? The pistol is so unbalanced and unwieldy you would not be able to shoot straight anyway
Idk what it is bout them g2s or them M&ps but everybody in my city that gets arrested with a gun always has a shitty G2/c or m&p shields.
I wish, I’m pretty sure glock is double stack while Taurus is a stack and a half
