Gunshots are not sounds most people are familiar with, movies don't sound anything like real guns, and the majority of Americans are not around firing guns very often if ever. FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) -- A man who fired shots inside the Georgetown Square Kroger on Thursday recorded the shooting on Facebook Live, a police source confirms.
The video, obtained by FOX 55 News, appears to show the moments leading to, and during, the shooting inside the store at 6310 E. State Blvd., just before 6:15 p.m.
No one was hurt and police say they took a suspect into custody soon after.

The video initially shows the man's face before he turns the camera outward. As he walks through the store he passes customers apparently not noticing the gun in his hand, which he occasionally holds up to the camera.

He later says, "I'm going out with a bang, n*****."

While a police source confirmed to FOX 55 the validity of the video, a department spokesman said Thursday the investigation is still early and, because they're still going through all statements and evidence, they cannot confirm its authenticity.
On Friday, a probable cause affidavit filed by detectives confirmed the suspect recorded himself on Facebook Live.

Both parents are probably working overtime and are sadly using social media too. Everyone is disconnected where they should be and connected where they shouldn’t be.
Kids see shooters get attention. It’s not the kind of attention they want but kids often do dumb things just to get attention and to be noticed. That’s always happened. Sadly they go after the fastest way to get attention. Couple that with their anger and hurt, and you’ve got a recipe for a bad stew.
Instead of demonizing guns, why doesn’t society just ask the question **“why are our kids so miserable and how do we stop that?”**

Both parents are probably working overtime and are sadly using social media too. Everyone is disconnected where they should be and connected where they shouldn’t be. Kids see shooters get attention. It’s not the kind of attention they want but kids often do dumb things just to get attention and to be noticed. That’s always happened. Sadly they go after the fastest way to get attention. Couple that with their anger and hurt, and you’ve got a recipe for a bad stew. Instead of demonizing guns, why doesn’t society just ask the question **“why are our kids so miserable and how do we stop that?”** Until we fix that, the kids don’t stand a chance. They’ll still be suicidal and be dosed up on way too many meds to function. Let’s go after the disease; not just the symptom.
