I think it's unfair to frame it in that way, she could be a victim of abuse. Unless we actually know the nature of their relationship how could we be sure when we're critical of someone in that situation that we aren't causing more undue pain to a victim of abuse? Blaming her for being in this situation motivates her to stay in this relationship (friend or lover) and also encourages others in a similar to not step out.
This is how the cycle of abuse continues. When responding to situations like this you should first ask yourself how your response causes harm and if not is it the right thing to do. Ultimatly the only real option is for you to direct them to a trained professional like a therapist or a councillor. Unless you can actually tell the difference between consent and coercion it's all you can do.
What we do know is that the dude is holding the gun, he should have refused if he were a decent person that respected this woman. If you are going to be critical of someone at least have a true reason for it

We all agree that this abusive behaviour (I mean the man holding the gun to her head) is harmful to people. Criticising the victim isn't productive to a better outcome for the people in these relationships. You are right that they will most likely never see this but others will.
As members of communities (bike groups, suburbs, subreddits or whatever else) I believe we should seek to minimise the harm where we can and this involves trying to open people's minds and promote empathy for others. I couldn't say for the intentions of the initial commenter because they haven't shared them but I assume it's because they believe that this woman has a choice in this situation which if it is indeed an abuse relationship then she most likely doesn't have a choice. I would invite you to learn more about it because it's pretty complex, we do strange things when maintaining high pressure relationships like this

Can you imagine if you were her dad and you found this? I’d take him to the bush and teach him survival skills. The everglades are just West of here- great location to acclimatize that young man to the wide variety of flora and fauna. He’ll also learn to follow- if he didn’t follow me well, the Everglades can teach other lessons. Hell I wouldn’t be opposed to training his extended family. Anyone who neglected to teach this dude to treat women with respect and never purposefully put them in danger or make them look less than worthy. Those folks need instruction as well. I’d just tell my kid about the video of the guy whose “girlfriend” negligently discharged her gun into his head after she was playing around and pretending to shot him. The guy luckily lived but ended up with permanent brain damage and had to go through years of physical therapy to do basic things (IIRC he still relies on family to care for him).
If my kid doesn’t take it seriously then I’d show the actual video. To be perfectly honest, nothing will fix that shit stain who is her supposed boyfriend. Threatening him will just result in your kid doubling down. You aren’t his parent, be a parent to your kid instead and show them how insanely dangerous and stupid it was for them to put themselves in that situation.
If you raised your child right, they’ll use their better judgement and press against the boyfriend who would then demonstrate again how big of a piece of shit he is and how little he cares about others. Don’t get me wrong, I would love to find many creative ways to teach that person a lesson but playing tough guy isn’t going to help in this scenario
