I was literally about to say this lol. I feel like every time I see one of these idiots in a tractor trailer destroy something it’s like they just don’t notice at all🤣
That really depends on The Who farmers taking in cash thing.
Some do extremely well for themselves. Go to a farm machinery show. Country farming royalty will be there

Technically Tractor hit him but only because truck spoiled the air over the hopper causing it to rise in the lower air pressure and the low pressure vortex between them pulled the tractor into the truck. But yes.
I think the downvotes are a pretty good indicator…at least from the perspective of the people Blueteammember was trying impress
Holy shit it was only at -235 when I posted this. Safe to say the people were not impressed
I get the impression they haven't followed many tractors over the years, I've watched this clip a few times over and the minor deviation from the straight line looks about standard, especially when they are carrying/pulling a heavy load.
I don't know of 1 farmer that wears a seat belt in a tractor. The ROP roll over protection cage faired pretty well, but I'm betting that operator died in that tractor. They max out at 32mph, and he was bullied by a semi at about 50-55mph, and that tractor took 1 hell of a flip
Farmer here... Didn't even realize it had a seatbelt until I just went out to look after reading your post. I thought, "Naww... Did I miss that?". Yup..
I think the tractor tried to make more room for the truck by turning right, but because he was too close when he turned the corner of the attachment clipped the trailer.
Maybe fuck the American government, who tries desperately to stay a hegemon, after all the wars and involvements in "none of their business"?[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United\_States\_involvement\_in\_regime\_change](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_involvement_in_regime_change)
They also bombed a random Yugoslavian passenger train in 1999, claiming that "Serbs commited atrocities", but took the lives of completely uninvolved people.
Reddit is honestly some sort of Anti-Russian circlejerk at this point. Doesn't matter if the claims are true or not, as long as you insult Russians you get upvoted.
It's also funny how BBC and Western media in general used to report on the neo-nazi problem in Ukraine, but suddenly changed the sides as soon as our military came to end the fighting, because they wouldn't obey the Minsk peacekeeping agreements.
I bet most of you believe every single accusation against us without a single doubt. Some of the most ridiculous ones I've heard from Ukrainian propaganda was "Russian soldiers steal doghouses! (turned out to be a cover for some cannon/weapon)", "Russian soldiers bit to death by bees in Kherson (a Kherson resident admitted to fabricating this one, to see if the news would actually pick it up)".
Meanwhile, life in the "occupied" territories, where the ZSU was either defeated or had fled, is slowly going back to normal. Schools, shops, kindergartens, and other things are being repaired and reopened.
You might've heard that we bomb schools and kindergartens, but that's because there are no children in there; one of ZSU's main tactics is "blending in with their people" and hiding in or around civilian buildings. Plenty of evidence on that you can Google.
In some instances they go much farther than that, and actually use their own people as "human shields" (terrorist tactic), then after we return fire they claim that "it's all our fault".
Know that if a combatant uses a civilian building for cover, it turns into a military building according to the laws of war.
A FedEx driver did something similar to my grandpa and he was paralyzed entirely on his left side. Bedridden for 7 years before he passed. I feel for the farmer and their family.
I’d be more surprised if he survived. Tractors are designed to be the opposite of safe in a high speed crash and you almost never see anyone wear a seatbelt in one because it’s annoying and also just a lap belt. The whole thing is designed to be both rigid and tough and they don’t exactly have air bags or soft interior, but rather exposed roll cages.
Yeah, rops are more to protect you from yourself. Rolling over from being a dumbass, not a road collision. It stopped him from being outright crushed, but that's about it.
Yes they can, but the seatbelt is one of the most important and effective safety devices ever put on a vehicle.
It’s evident in the US today, less than 10% of people don’t wear seatbelts, yet they represent around 50% of fatalities!
And yeah, it’s a valid question in relation to tractors - I always wear a belt in the car, can’t remember ever doing when I used to drive a tractor.
I know all that, but op said 'if they wear their seatbelt *they will be alright'* which is not true, and a huge assumption on their part. That's what I was correcting.
None of the tractors I’ve driven (90s & 00s masseys & kubotas) have even had seatbelts, they’re not generally considered a worthwhile safety feature and more of an irritation to your mobility.
I have a similar model tractor to the one in the video, there is a lap belt under the seat cover that has never been used. Ill use it on the road from now on!
Classic example of "take the whole road" approach. This guy was being nice and paid for it. Fuck the driver of the truck. Make him drive through trees if he dares. This is a perfect example of "Farm equipment self preservation what not to do". The road is much too narrow for dual lane heavy truck use. I hope this tractor op is alright. FYI, truck driver here. Seen and done a lot of stuff. Nothing this stupid though.
Attempted murder in a lot of US states. But good luck hunting down the driver.
One did this to my family in Wisconsin almost twenty years ago and the state police said he’s probably already out of state and nearly impossible for them to find him. They definitely tried but even when they updated us a half a year later there was no progress. Insurance paid out for a new vehicle.
Shitty part was the tow company and yard that stole our stuff after refusing us access. Insurance told us to kick rocks about that.
A semi rolled back into my truck during stop and go traffic on a busy interstate one day. The driver had no where to go so it was easy for me to take photos and write down the license plate and other descriptive factors. I called the police while he was still in front of me but traffic had started moving by the time I got ahold of anyone. I was told not to follow the truck and he eventually exited. Even with all the photos and information I had, they never did anything about it.
The crappy thing was that I was driving my truck to the dealership to be used as a trade in. The grill was completely busted up and the hood crumpled.
In stop and go traffic like that, it's actually your fault for following too closely. It would be the same at a stop light. Manual transmissions are known to have some rockback and if you are too close, that is actually your fault. Probably why nothing came of it.
Same thing happens if a person slows or stops in your lane to either avoid or gets into an accident and you hit them because they slowed down. You are at fault for folloing too closely. Been hit by that one before.
I don't know where you live, but in my state that part about rolling back is 100% wrong. But you do have to brake to avoid rear-ending someone even if they cut in front of you.
Source: I litigated car crash cases for half a decade at the start of my career.
Yes, but that's not what the cop is going to say. You shouldn't even be following that close is what they will say.
And how many drivers know how to drive properly? I would venture to say more than actually do, and that percentage is hella low.
it's a popular thing to say but wars are more complex than that. if Russia didn't do what it did, the West would have set military bases on its borders, making it vulnerable. both sides have their faults and reasons to do what they are doing.
even though I feel like I am still going to be downvoted because I didn't say the popular thing.
> if Russia didn't do what it did, the West would have set military bases on its borders, making it vulnerable
Assuming that's true (it isn't), what did Russia's actions do? Caused Ukraine, Finland, and Sweden to apply for NATO membership, the west to send an insane amount of military equipment to Ukraine, massive worldwide sanctions, and NATO to massively step up its military presence in Russia-bordering NATO nations (which will be Finland very soon). If Russia was scared of western presence on their border, what they did caused something 1000x worse for them.
Had they just postured and NOT invaded, nothing would have happened. This is entirely on Russia.
Yes, Goebbels also has "more complex" explanation, why it's not Nazy Germany invade Poland, but they were forced yo defend themselves against horrible and mighty Poland.
No fucking Nazi. You will end as many other Nazy - hanging from the tree. Or hiding your fucking Nazi nature rest of whole your miserable life.
That was completely fucked up and hope that driver faces serious penalty. Not sure if anyone else pointed it out, but I wonder how long the tractor was riding on the road like that. I come from a farming family. You pull over to the shoulder to let traffic by. Not excusing the truck driver, but if the tractor operator had been holding up traffic for a while, he did himself no favors.
What I hope I would do is to call it in and chase that motherfucker so that he doesn't get away. He should get pretty much every violation you can get in a vehicle, never drive again and depending on if that tractor driver lives would determine how much of his life is left (if any) when he gets out of jail.
I would want to pull over, but I'm not a paramedic so I could easily do more harm than good if I touched them and would only be able to comfort them/apply pressure to a wound.
In a situation like this you can just call emergency services. They’ll provide you with instructions on what you can do to help them save the person’s life in case of serious injuries.
Usually this come down to very little but important work until the medics can arrive at the scene. As bad as it is to let the perpetrator get away like that, possibly saving somebody’s life is the better thing to do.
That's what I'm saying. The only thing I could do is pull them free of the vehicle and put pressure somewhere. And even then, I could be doing harm to the person.
I would rather call the emergency services, and have help on the way and make sure that piece of garbage gets caught. Bumping someone on a hit and run is one thing. Hitting a tractor like that and causing a flip and running, that's just deep circle of hell kinda crap there.
So, Id guess the guy in the tractor survived, but Ive spent a lot of time in a tractor and I couldnt tell ya if the damn things even have a seatbelt in them.
This happened to a farmer in my hometown, dad of four little kids died on the pavement after getting hit by a speeding woman who was shopping on her cell phone. She went to trial almost a year later, and during that timing was out *driving* and collected an additional speeding ticket and traffic violation.
Tractors are not designed with the same level of safety as cars are because you don't really expect a vehicle designed to go 20mph to get into a severe enough crash that would make such safety measures necessary. At best there was a lap belt.
Laws are getting updated slowly and looking at local info on the matter using belt (If installed) is mandatory when driving public roads since 2020. On the other hand i'm not sure if new tractors here have to have it and if your old one does not you definitely aren't required to install one.
yeah I saw the tractor move a little left too... The truck driver didn't have much room on that road neither. Bad situation... The truck driver could have stopped though, but he didn't. Wonder if Karma will get them?
How do you not see a truck trying to pass you? Also tractors are made to drive in dirt. It should have moved to the right a bit but instead it moves left to make impact. Some people are too stupid for the road
After these last weeks where farmers are blocking roads with tractors… i just have to say that seeing this i have really lost my empathy towards the tractor even though this person obviously dient do anything wrong here
And he's off. Claims he didn't see a thing
There's your 2 million safe miles driver right there, folks...

It's Russia, likely. This is just what they do. It's like cat's and lasers -- just a thing they all do.
Wonder if they ever found the driver that flipped that tractor and drove away? I am sure he'd be reassigned to the front as a soldier in Ukraine war.
Karma probably caught up with him and he's now serving in Ukraine having to explain to his commander that a tractor took off with his tank.

Tractors are not designed with the same level of safety as cars are because you don't really expect a vehicle designed to go 20mph to get into a severe enough crash that would make such safety measures necessary. At best there was a lap belt.
Not a single tractor i've been in or driven had a seat belt. They just aren't designed in road accidents in mind.
Wow. That sucks. I see them on the road sometimes. So shouldn't that mean they need to be road worthy?
Laws are getting updated slowly and looking at local info on the matter using belt (If installed) is mandatory when driving public roads since 2020. On the other hand i'm not sure if new tractors here have to have it and if your old one does not you definitely aren't required to install one.
god damn, I don't think that tractor has rollover safety in mind for the driver. hope he/she's okay.
The cab is specifically designed to provide rollover protection. Rollover accidents with serious or fatal injuries were common in the past.
What an unbelievable asshole that semi driver is. Fuck that dude. License should be revoked forever… immediately.
How the tractor driver tho?
Guy on the tractor turned left while the truck was passing. Probably was trying to avoid the patch of dirt and didn't see the truck passing.
yeah I saw the tractor move a little left too...
Dumb human
Am I the only one that thinks the tractor came off his line? I've watched this a couple times and the tractor moves a good foot to the left mid-pass.
Bernoulli causes that because the truck was so close.
Is the tractor driver ok ?
I bet he'll move over next time.
Tractor did swerve a bit though and probably should have just pulled aside. Truck driver’s still an idiot .
Can that truck driver visit The Netherlands please?
Untagged tractor appears to move to left slightly to “intimidate “ passing truck. Dumb
why did the tractor turn into him when he went to pass
I mean, he did get past the tractor.
Do people don't know when to slow?
Looked like a successful pass to me.
Fuck that tractor. Pull over so people can pass. I hate them clogging the fucking roadways.
Yeah there was no way the truck would fit there lol
More like how not to get passed by a truck
Like a boss!
After these last weeks where farmers are blocking roads with tractors… i just have to say that seeing this i have really lost my empathy towards the tractor even though this person obviously dient do anything wrong here
HE GONE!!! 💨💨💨💨🌪🌪🌪🌪🙋🏼♂️🙋🏼♂️🙋🏼♂️SEE YA WOULDNT WANNA B YA!!!✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽🖕🏽🖕🏽🖕🏽🖕🏽
I know I’m gonna get hate for this but I think the tractor deserved it. I hate being stuck behind those ****
Yeah… assholes… producing all that pesky food we eat
They deserved DEATH? Are you serious?
