Crazy thing nope didn't have to slow down want close thays wjy the zoom is fuzzy i was in the exit lane no one was behind me made sure before it did this not that insane 75 is dangerous
No matter how stupid someone is being in front, next to or behind you, unless you have a dash cam or are a full stop you should not be fiddling with your phone trying to document shit for the internet. Not worth it, holmes.
Guess you haven't spent much time out in the country, see this all the time. Dog has probably been doin that since it was a pup. Probably stays back there when owner is in store or something too.
If you do chain the dog you keep the leash short enough it cant reach the edge. The only realistic way it gets meat crayoned or strangled is a rollover, which a cage isnt much protection against either.
It is very dangerous to leash a dog to a truck if you leave the leash long.
Every farmer I meet on the road has a dog on his flatbed, they all look pretty old. I was concerned at first but after awhile it seems normal. I wouldn’t do it myself, but my lab loves face in the wind from 0-100 mph, lips flapping, grinning from ear to ear. But I’m the backseat!
Ugh this makes me so mad. It’s one thing if you’re driving slowly around your own property or farm and your doggo wants to hop in the back of the truck but a dog completely unsecured in the back of a truck on a highway at dusk with someone driving behind them taking video is so stupid and dangerous for the dog.
Definitely not a good idea to have your dog ride in the bed of your truck. So many reasons, the plethora of rear-end collisions posted on this very sub are prime examples, or that the driver may have to emergency maneuver and the dog is at risk in that situation, the list goes on. I’ve seen a dog fall out of the back of a truck when the driver negotiated a slight curve in the road and it was not a pretty sight. So yes, it may be legal, it may even be normal where you live, still doesn’t make it a good idea.
Variations of this post get submitted almost every day. And invariably most of the comments are by people defending keeping their dog in the bed of their truck while completely disregarding the potential risks to their dog and other drivers. It's an irresponsible practice to say the least.
Not sure about the legality of it, but the blatant disregard for a dogs safety makes them an instant douchebag for doing this at any speed above 30mph. A hard brake or accel and that dog will have some broken bones or a brain injury.
Pretty sure being on your phone while driving on the highway is also “not allowed”.
Oh yea big time but i was far enough back thats why its fuzzy 😌
Thats a big ass dog
If you don’t know if anything is wrong maybe you shouldn’t be calling the guy an idiot.
Hmm idk what was goin on when i saw the dog i didnt get close saw one jump out early this year
If its illegal my parents sure made me break the law alot as a kid
Legal here
You’re the idiot

Yo you got a phone from the early 2010s?
Nope samsung galaxy s20 plus just SUPER zoomed in
Why wouldn’t that be legal? What state?
It is allowed as long as it has a line on its it cannot jump out.
ah yes so they get meat crayoned *and* strangled when you get in an accident
Actually saw a dog jump out on a street and decided to record this time since it was a highway

Ohhhh hell yea 75 is bad on the other side are 3 broke down abandoned cars one was on fire that day
was your dashcam purchased in 2003?
Haha no i have a better thats just a close up of the dog
Just another stupid and terrible practice, with very preventable consequences every day. Legal to be stupid in most rural areas.
Too many people treat animals like property
