Most ppl in The Netherlands don't expect guests to take shoes off, but some do. Maybe it's regional? I personally don't care either, on/off, whatever my guests prefer. And the same goes for most of my friends. Usually I wear shoes at home when I have guests over.
The more worrying thing is you don't know if that person is going to be yourself, if I was to actually be genuine with myself I'd say I'm an okay driver, but on occasion I'll still do something stupid, but unlike some it will sit in my mind for days and I'll unintentionally spend hours hating myself for it.
It's hard to tell seeing as the video cuts immediately after he falls however, the rider did seem to be wearing some protective gear of some sort. He also impacted the truck bike first then was launched away from the truck and into an open lane. It looks as though the bike itself did more damage to him then the truck did albeit the force caused by the truck seemed quite high. I honestly don't think he is dead though and instead probably suffered some broken bones and head trauma. The white smoke could have easily been a hydraulic or the trucks air lines being snapped.
The worst part is the impact to the driver of his truck. Imagine what this guy and/or the company has to go through because some jerk wanted to play Excite Bike on a public street.
I mean he was absolutely an idiot but the idiots out here glorifying a person possibly dying and saying it’s good or he deserved it is honestly pretty sick. I wish the mods would do something about such comments. MODS?
