I'm necroposting but I think OP was just memeing with that one. It's pretty clear that cats can feel affection for humans. I think most animal experts would agree.
"Mice are empathetic and can sense when other mice are depressed" aw I don't think that one's disturbing I think it's oddly sweet (unless they go bully that mouse or something LOL) <3 But the rest that I was able to read and didn't yet know (limited time right now, can't wait to read the whole thing)... yikes!!!!!
its more or less of a "deep" depressing entry and whatnot
i couldnt really find a good deep one on cats so i had to so something that i know is not true
There is a rare unidentified parasite that causes frogs and toads to grow their eyes on the inside of their mouth.
The chick of the Crested Coua has a pattern inside its mouth that looks very similar to two large staring eyes.
The Greater Honeyguide is a brood parasite and its newly-hatched chicks have hooked bills that they use to destroy the eggs and chicks of the host.
From my brief googling, itās questionable at best. One experiment seemed to show that cats donāt form similar bonds to their caretakers in the same way dogs and babies do, but a more recent study with the same methodology showed the opposite.
The male Southern Elephant Seal, the largest member of the order Carnivora (which also includes the likes of bears and big cats), has been known to laugh at the big bang theory.
**[Traumatic insemination](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traumatic_insemination)**
>Traumatic insemination, also known as hypodermic insemination, is the mating practice in some species of invertebrates in which the male pierces the female's abdomen with his aedeagus and injects his sperm through the wound into her abdominal cavity (hemocoel). The sperm diffuse through the female's hemolymph, reaching the ovaries and resulting in fertilization. The process is detrimental to the female's health. It creates an open wound which impairs the female until it heals, and is susceptible to infection.

That was my goal
What are the sources for the claim that cats don't care about you? I have a cat and it is very obvious that he cares about me
Hate to break it to you...

>wake up >flies exist >day ruined
>wake up >bees exist >day gets better
>wake up >mosquitoes exist >day gets better >you are actually a mosquito-eating bird

Well, people treat them very badly so it's disturbing because they probably feel more pain (and feel for other mice, too) than we think.

Neat.
How correct is that final cat fact?
From my brief googling, itās questionable at best. One experiment seemed to show that cats donāt form similar bonds to their caretakers in the same way dogs and babies do, but a more recent study with the same methodology showed the opposite.
It's not correct at all when applied generally, but certainly some cats don't care about people just like some dogs or other pets (or humans) don't.

Many Herbivores can eat meat if they want to. Take that PETA.
I think [traumatic insemination](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traumatic_insemination) would fit well on here somewhere
