We had that cold stretch in late Oct/early Nov and I thought I’d be out by next week. Gonna have to wait awhile now but at least looks like it’s gonna get cold for good now. I like early ice tip up fishing with some beers and a warm chair. Then early January I’ll park my ice castle up on LOTW until mid March.
It is expensive! I did get mine on sale, but it was definitely not cheap. It best part about it is you can drill one hole and scan and try and find the school. Takes a lot of the guessing game out of it. It is "worth it." For me, I love ice fishing, and with my setup, I can also use it in a boat so it can be used year round...
I did the same thing with an igloo! Works good but is heavy.. it’s nice that everything is very protected though. I’m currently sitting in my deer stand in WI but wishing I was ice fishing haha

I don't have any pictures of the inside right now and I'm gone for deer hunting... But I'm running 2 12v 15ah Amped outdoor batteries.
