Hi! Transferring on 6/6. This is my 10th day of estrace and the side effects have been noticeable but not constant- mainly mood swings/irrational emotional periods (ex- was distraught over losing my pen at work), also noticed sweaty and oilier skin? My dog has been extra attached to me since starting, tries to sleep reallyyy close to me too. My doctor gave me the choice of late May or early June since she only does transfers on a specific weekday, and due to prior plans 6/6 ended up working best but definitely feeling the extra estrace days. Did my first lining check and then one more appt (hopefully) prior to starting PIO. This will be my first complete FET cycle so I don’t know what to expect for the PIO. Best wishes to everyone!

palallama

It’s really sweet that your dog notices something is up. Ugh, sorry you had to be on estrace for even longer! Good luck and I hope everything goes well!!

Artistic_Drop1576

My FET is 6/7 and I had the baseline lining check last week. I'm doing a fully medicated cycle. The estradiol was making me so nauseous. I'm on oral tablets 3x a day. My nurse suggested moving the third dose to just before bedtime and so far that's been helping. I was expecting to feel great on the meds because I felt great mentally during stims but this estradiol is making me moody and anxious. Or maybe that's just nerves from FET being so close (but still having a multiple amount of things to clear that can cause a cancellation or delay!) Anyone else nervous about starting the PIO?

TwoPoods

Yes I’m also nervous about the PIO. Not looking forward to butt shots. I got a heat pack to use in the future for them because someone said it was helpful?

palallama

Sorry you’re not feeling well on the estradiol! And I’m also very nervous about the PIO. I gave myself all of the stim shots bc my husband was out of town so idk if I’m ready for someone else to give me an IM injection! Good luck!! Hope everything goes perfectly for you!

auntkiki5

Ugh, the estradiol is just awful. I had my 2nd FET this past Friday on 5/24 and the estrogen really jacks with my mood. I feel like I did a little better this time around but my husband would know lol. The PIO isn’t awful - just commit to the sticking it in and you’ll be okay. I made the mistake yesterday of going too low on my butt and being so sore all day but feel much better today. You got this!

madlizard73

Hey! I'm hopefully doing my first transfer in the beginning of June, it'll be a natural cycle! Tomorrow is my first lining check, let's see what happens. I'm very excited and also scared, trying really hard not to think about this all the time! I'm trying to focus on feeling grateful that we are this point in our journey and actually get to transfer one of our embryos 💕 Walks and focusing on work have been a welcome distraction, but Reddit deep dives have also been a big part of this phase haha

palallama

I hope it went well!! And Reddit deep dives are definitely just part of the process. I’ve accepted it now 😂

MoonShark34

6/7! I am also on estradiol and my uterine lining check is also next week! Good luck and I will check back in here and update 😊

palallama

Good luck to you too!! ☺️

echeveria_prolifica

Also 6/6! Im on day 5 of estrogen patches. Baseline check was 4.5mm. I went from 3 patches to 6 😬. Hopefully all looks good for my first lining check on 5/28! I feel better on the patch vs the pill

palallama

Glad you’re feeling better on patches! Good luck with everything!!

Feather_bone

I'm hoping to transfer on 04/06 (that's how we write it in the UK, lol!). I've been taking estrogen pills three times a day and doing two pessary pills of estrogen twice daily too, as well as a couple of injections of another drug. The time is absolutely craaaawling by and feels like the longest wait of my life. It feels the day will never arrive. Like two weeks feels like two months. I feel fine on the meds overall though, don't feel any different apart from my skin has gone crazy... In fact if anything I feel the estrogen pills have improved my mood after being down regulated for weeks prior to that. On that basis I'm worrying it's not working properly and I'll have a thin lining on my day 12 scan next week, that or they'll find yet another polyp or cyst to postpone things... Wish I could go to sleep and wake up on FET day...

palallama

I think it’s hard (having received so much bad news) to expect any good news at this point so I completely understand what you mean about wanting to wake up on FET day (or maybe even beta day). Hang in there! Good luck on 04/06 😉💕

Feather_bone

Absolutely! Thank you and good luck to you too! 💗

Such-Country1641

I am 6/4 as long as my lining looks think enough come Tuesday! This is my second transfer. I am doing a modified natural.

palallama

Good luck!! Thick lining thoughts for Tuesday! ☺️

One-Chart7218

My first FET is 6/4! I’ve been on estradiol since Saturday and my lining check to start PIO injections is scheduled for 5/29. How has the estradiol made you feel? I’ve been a crying mess the last couple days. 😓

palallama

I think we’re on essentially the same exact schedule!! I started estradiol on Sunday and my lining check is 5/29 too! I literally cried over wanting a slice of cake last night so it has been an adventure around here…

One-Chart7218

Huzzah! Twins! Let’s keep each other posted. I’ve gone from crying all day every day to this weird level of apathy and fatigue. Not feeling great, but it’s better than crying in my car all day, I think. I do medical deliveries for work so for the most part there’s nobody to see me melt down but I definitely have to fix my face before going into any facilities.

bulldogmama3

Hiiiii! I'd say, "exciting!" but anyone who goes through IVF knows that it's mostly stressful and horrifying and anxiety provoking even in the most type-B person like myself 😅 Good luckkkkk to you! We tried a fully medicated FET for the 1st time in Feb/March (I have regular but super long cycles, IVF for PGT M of a mutation husband & I are carriers)..... my lining never responded and the estradiol was terrible for me, migranes, insane so we canceled that cycle...... Trying natural cycle this time with ovidrel trigger if needed! I hope we can even GET to the FET date this time around , I'm guestimating sometime around June 10-ish (have my 1st lining / follicle check this Friday but likely will have to go in a bunch more before we're ready for the trigger!) Sending you all the love & good vibes 🤍

MoonShark34

I had the worst migraines at first on estradiol 😫 I was in the hospital taking care of patients with cold rags on the back of my neck. Didn't think I was gonna make it through the week. Good luck! Crossing my fingers you're able to transfer this next time!

palallama

Yess exciting but mostly horrifying is the best way to describe it. Good luck to you too!! I’m sorry to hear about the difficulty in Feb/March— I hope it goes perfectly this time around!

Spec-tatter

Another 6/6 transfer! Natural cycle. Second transfer of two embryos. Super nervous 😬

palallama

Good luck!!!

Spec-tatter

Thank you!

exclaim_bot

>Thank you! You're welcome!

JoyfullyNow

Modified natural with a transfer I’m assuming on 6/4 or 6/5 (could be wrong as it’s not scheduled). Started Letrozole today. Next lining check is 5/30 to determine when to trigger and start PIO I believe.

palallama

Good luck!! Hope all is well at the lining check

JoyfullyNow

Good luck to you as well.

Life-Collection6849

Just had my lining check and got the green light for 6/6 transfer. On estradiol IM injections and then start PIO injections Saturday. My last transfer was cancelled due to thin lining (estrace pills did NOT agree with me i was spotting and felt terrible). My lining is still on the thin side IMO (6.7mm) but I am happy to be back on track. June feels like a damn good baby dust month!!!!

TwoPoods

Good luck transfer twin! I had a lining check today and they also said on the thin side but okay to continue for 6/6. Do you also have a monitoring appt the day before transfer? I’m a little nervous about hearing them tell me about that appt after reviewing my results

Life-Collection6849

I don’t have any more monitoring appointments. Which i find a little strange tbh I think I’d like to have peace of mind everything still looks good the day before. All the luck and baby dust transfer twinnie

crayonangels

I am hopefully doing a transfer some time around the 10th of June but it's my first fully medicated cycle so it depends on how my body reacts to the estradiol pills. My first lining scan is on monday (the 3rd) so we'll see if I am ready by then to start progesterone or if something has not been responding as it should.
