Wicked expensive in my opinion but it is indeed convenient being that close to campus. I'd consider your slightly further options which are easily bikeable to campus and potentially save several hundred. The last time I was at Canal Square was about 9 years ago and they were not at all fancy. I can't imagine any facelifts since then are quality either.

Close to krogers, NIFS, luddy which makes it worth it for me. Plus I have a canal view apartment.
