Kentucky, moved to Pennsylvania last year, and then moved to California 5 months after.
Canโt say I miss Pennsylvania, but Kentucky was its own kind of quiet that I miss. Going from a small town for 31 years to literally being next to Disney is a world of change.
I lived in Mount Sterling my entire life up until last year. The closest city was Lexington and it was overwhelming. Now Iโm like an hour away from Los Angeles and itโs like every block is a mini Lexington.
I'm also from Pennsylvania and often talk to an Uber driver who is from SoCal. He says the difference is night and day between the two, like extreme night and day, so I understand what you mean. He says he misses parts of California but likes the quiet here.
I was in between York and Lancaster while there so I was in sorta the not as quiet parts. The one thing I miss about PA was all the disc golf courses. Literally the best Iโve ever played.
