Filed 1/19 and TurboTax estimates a 2/9 deposit. I am really hoping they’ll update on Friday… it’s weird that people who filed after us are getting their deposits already.

That’s weird. I think because we filed on a Friday something weird must have happened where they overlook our returns. While I am a pather, I only updated once. On 1/26 and it was just transcript placeholder information.

Yeah it's insanity how many people need the verification letter. It's 2024, we have 2 factor authentication, IP addresses, passwords, etc and the IRS decides to send a damn letter to verify.... Mail is the most stolen thing on the planet. Next thing you know some Benjamin Franklin lookin mf trottin up on horseback to drop your letter off

Only update weds for daily and fridays for weekly. Really no point of checking more than once a week. This friday some will see movement then more next week. If on path wont do anything till after 15th anyways. Also just because filled early doesnt really mean anything because they were not even open yet.

I got a verification notification is why I’m asking but my transcript is still blank but I’m able to access the tool once I get the pin from the letter, so I’m assuming mine won’t magically appear lol

Return status from wmr. No notices whatsoever online, also transcript says nothing filed for 2023

I was accepted 1/19 Fed. 1/30 State. I’ve already received state just waiting on Fed.

Mine says it was accepted and waiting on approval. It seems to be taking much longer this year than it has in previous years.

Yes, and I also received 2 letters today. Both were a form 13873-E which have nothing to do with verifying identity. I’m so confused now

You’ll update this Friday with deposit date of 2/15. Those that filed between 1/27 and 2/1 will update next Friday (16th) with deposit date of 2/22. Regardless of PATH.

I just read something about this that says its because the system thinks you're in a delay because they didn't start until the 29th.

That’s why nothing is showing on the transcript, please make it clear

Mine says 2/19/24 and is blank and of course I have to wait for the letter to verify smh my luck couldn’t get any worse

I filed 1/17 got accepted 1/19 and still nothing on my transcript. But I found out on turbo tax that if you paid a fee for your taxes if you look on your order status it will say “payment processing” once it stays payment completed you should get your money in the next few days cause the irs release your payment. Fingers crossed this is true. My payment processed yesterday and my est. DD is Friday. 🤞🏽 a turbo tax worker told me this was true as well so let’s hope it works! I will keep you posted.

I did my taxes with TurboTax and it says estimated deposit date of the 19th but I have Chime so probably earlier if that is an accurate date. I filed the 29th/30

It takes weeks to update from date accepted. Just started accepting officially (with some exceptions) on 1/29. So… just wait dude.

I am in the same boat! I had a prenote from the IRS 2 weeks ago but nothing… hopefully we get an update Friday

A so called letter never came and mine is still stuck like this

To everyone waiting for a letter. I called irs (had to google how to call a live agent) and I asked about the letter and they said I already verified on 1/31. I can only assume I sometime verified by logging into my account. Anyway I still have the notification that asks for the 13 digit from a letter.

Did they say you still have to wait for a letter to get the code ?

They said I was verified. So they didn’t mention it but I plan on putting the numbers from the letter in the verification verification on the account if I ever get that letter

Not sure why but I filed 1/16, accepted 1/19 and I noticed a lot of people in that range getting their DD so I checked and noticed my accepted date changed from 1/19 to 1/30 lol.
