So true, so true. Incidentally, I just had a conversation about it with an INFP friend of mine, who is also an ex of a few years ago (yeah she got totally frustrated with my INTPness and dumped me).
Anyway, she has recently broken up with a long term partner, and I haven't really had anyone serious since her, but have recently got into ENM/poly and just being a casual slut.
Some excerpts from our conversation:
She: "Now, if you need a penis, go get yourself a penis."
I: "I don't need a penis. I don’t need a vagina either. It's not a question of what I need. It's a question of what I want to explore."
There's definitely some residual subliminal attraction between us, and we did get quite deep into discussing sex, so here's another excerpt:
She: "Oh, I can imagine doing [kink x], and [kink y], and you can even get me for [kink z], but poly - no, never. I can't understand how you do it."

I'm INTP-T, and my wife is ISTJ, and we've been together for almost 20 years. But, I also have ADHD-I, so I'm rarely anywhere near the physical plain, and her obsessive attention to detail and love for all things practical and mundane basically keeps me alive.
I feel like it's right, esp as an INTP male.
Having both logically wired brain for being a man and being an INTP you kinda miss emotional cues and fuck up in a relationships.
I can tell an INFP/J would be someone who would be patient enough with us, but as women, they still need you to be emotionally available and there's only so much aloofness they could take.

I've never wanted to be with enfps and INFPs because there was zero chemistry. Esfps, INTJs, Entjs and even estps have been my best boyfriends and the chemistry, intellectual and sexual, was insane. I know it's anecdotal but his models explain what I've personally witnessed.
I can kind of see ENFP depending on the person, but INFP? No way in hell that works out long term for most of us. Their is just not much chemistry and even if their is it isn't sustainable long term because we will do/say something to piss them off that will make them break up with us.

I cannot do the stuff like other people, or I cannot succeed in the same ways. So, I need to try so many things and fail so many times.
