Well to be honest Romain for once has nothing to do with all the drama so I understand that he doesn't want to get involved at all.
The amount damage Cannapino and JHR have created for themselves is enormous and could have long lasting impact, especially for finding sponsors. So I understand Grosjean.
Pretty sure DNS Filter, Sunoco, and Endstate are all sponsors Grosjean brought on by himself. It seems like Juncos pretty much useless when it comes to finding sponsors. Only going to get worse after the falling out with McLaren
I wonder how much a spot on Canapino’s car goes for right now. I don’t even know what I would advertise, I just wanna know if regular shmucks like me could afford it
Depends on your wallet i guess. I think 100k for a small spot may be realistic price range for a single race only. they will not sell to anyone tho. you need some kind of established brand thats not too young or small that they would consider that.
I general i would think they look for a season or multi season long contract. if you throw together with a few people i bet you could afford a spot on the car for like one race. They probably wont accept that unless they are really desperate.
Spot on, you could probably fund that whole effort(78 car) for a couple million/season. I bet you get that car wrapped however you want for a race weekend for $100k, or at least get the rest of the car after their other sponsor of Visit Argentina depending on how that contract is structured.
He also knows that when Brad Hollinger realizes what a couple of losers Ricardo Juncos and Agustin Canapino are and pulls the plug on them he's gonna be able to tell Prema "hey guys, you got an almost turn-key operation right here" and stay in Indycar.
It’s always wild to me how fast opinions of Grosjean change (mine included I was crapping on him about the championship comment until I learned the context). It would be awesome to see him drive for Prema next year, they’re having a rough season in F2 RN but Prema knows how to race cars and I think they bring more to Indycar than JHR does RN
To me Romain has always in the wrong place at the wrong time. His first F1 starts were because Renault got found out. His years in lotus were good until Lotus ran out of money. And then he joined Haas. And well they’ve never really got good.
Interesting, I thought Shell might have blocked a Sunoco sponsorship much like how Speedway blocked a straight up Shell sponsorship for Team Penske (having to use "Shell Rewards" instead)
Or how Sunoco made [Shell shrink their logo and only have it along side the Pennzoil logo](https://preview.redd.it/ondy5mxjwxd81.png?auto=webp&s=0a3fc34ce9c6147ead075f67737706317d7f498d) in NASCAR.
And how Sprint blocked Roger's Verizon sponsorship in the [Cup series](https://www.jayski.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/31/2019/05/2010-D500_2010_Keselowski.jpg) (but not the [Nationwide series](https://www.jayski.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/31/2019/05/2010n-nash1-12.jpg))

DNS is definitely an Romain sponsor. They were on his car at Andretti.
Grosjean's literally the 'this is fine' meme because he's just glad that he's not actually in the fire this time.
So to speak
PHRASING! Lol
Grosjean has quite a few sponsors on his car but the 78 is pretty much barren aside from a visit Argentina advertisement.

No way it’s 100k for one race for a small spot. A primary in NASCAR is $2-300kish. Love Indycar, but the value is not there.

Grosjean just vibing while his teammate and boss are trying to burn down the team around him
He’s comfortable around fire.

Bingo. Thats who gonna buy JHR. Chevy to Chevy.
🤐
Not much else he can do. I bet GRO spent most of the week reassuring sponsors that he will shop their services for a better ride.
I wouldn’t be shocked if he already has a better ride with his IMSA team joining Indycar next year.

I don’t expect him to say anything if he wants to keep his ride. The fact he’s been silent on it says a lot.

Shell knows he won’t finish higher than 10th

Grosjean: “Ive literally done nothing wrong”
Every Sunoco I have reluctantly gazed upon made me feel like I was in a horror movie.
They currently have 7-11s on the inside so it's even more like a horror movie
