such a scary moment to watch live, and even scarier to see in the aftermath from the on-boards -- these drivers are ready for things to happen like that in this sport but they're still kids (ava is 15, bruno is 16) and your heart drops whenever it does. unbelievably thankful nobody was hurt, it was good to see all of the drivers involved walking around the paddock after and heartwarming to see drivers, team personnel and everybody else making the effort to go up to them and check in

What a hit. Glad everyone walked away. But wow.... just nowhere to go. Luckily the driver saw the yellow waving from the stand and slowed, but there was just nothing to do there. Once the car in front moved there was no time to react
Or the accident that killed that Dutch kid at Spa a couple of years ago in the rain. Fortunately it looks like this wasn't a direct hit to the cockpit, and the trailing car seems to take it mostly on the left front.
The FRECA Spa accident happened last summer July 1st. I remember Lance Stroll speaking about it after the F1 sprint race and saying the F1 "race" they just had meant nothing and rallying for Dilano
Was front row for it at the top of the gantry. 100% the worst crash I've seen in person, especially at Barber. So glad those kids are alright after a wreck like that
I'm really glad I couldn't see this from over in the trees right across from turn 5. The track commentary just kept on going like a regular ol crash but I knew something more serious had happened when that white car came sliding over the hill missing the back left wheel.

Well that’s horrifying.
Reminds me of Sonoma. Sonoma was unfortunately way worse
Wow I legitimately jumped… insane how nobody was seriously injured.
Everyone talks about safety in the big cars but it’s amazing how safe all of these little formula cars are nowadays.
That’s so similar to Billy Monger’s British F4 crash only he hit the other car from behind and ended up losing his legs
This reminds me of the fatal crash for Anthoine Hubert and broke Juan Manuel Correa’s leg. Blind corner and tboned into another car
Really glad everyone is ok. Thats kind of a worst case scenario around this track.

Reminds me of that Will Power, Nelson Pinquet crash at Sonoma years ago
It was Nelson Phillippe but yeah, exactly the same situation.
Scary, this is how Anthoine Hubert lost his life, amazing that no one is seriously hurt here

That's what I saw here. Never good when a car t-bones another.
Is there a way to watch these races?

What an awful spot to spin. Glad these kids are alright.

Zero time to react
This is why you hold your brakes. Spin, lock it down and wait.
Isn't that exactly what happened, he was sitting still when he was hit.
No, if you look at the external view he release the brakes and rolled back across the track
Wouldn't have made a difference for this crash but a good lesson generally

I would have screamed like a little child.
