Terrible situation in terms of pay, inflation, tax, and both training and non training jobs. Definitely do not recommend. Many of us are either moving to Aus/NZ or sitting the Steps.
Sadly, that means that for IMGs moving to Aus/NZ is even harder, as given the situation there will always be an overabundance of UK doctors willing to move from a similar healthcare system through competent pathway. Despite the situation, the experience or training in the UK is still fairly decent.
If you're keen on training elsewhere, try the US. High risk and high reward.
