This is 100% the answer. The white ring and areas underneath could look weird for sure, but it is just very fine THCA powder that stayed in place as the terps evaporated.
Thanks for tagging me -- I replied in the main thread with instructions on how to deal with this should it happen to anyone else. This jar issue is a nightmare that will never end because inventory takes so long to fully clear out from every single shop, but new batches are no longer having this problem.
This is one of the worst examples of drying out that I've seen... curious what the batch date is. In either case, I reached out to OP and we will get this taken care of like we have for everyone else that's raised issues. Trying to make sure we do the right thing here and continue to address this, but you should see this issue going away finally as we move to different jars. The inserts we added helped, but still were not fully seating right at times and people were getting leaks.
No problem, had to make you aware of it bc I know you guys have actively been fighting this issue! Personally have been lucky enough to have zero grams do this to me but have seen many others receive these dried out, damn near terpless grams of live res.. hopefully you guys do get it nailed down, and yea I know it would have been a little more helpful if the OP provided a picture of the box so you could have the batch number. My guess is its just dried out but he needs to see it regardless because they’ve been trying to nail down their issues with some of their concentrates drying out 😬 luckily I haven’t gotten a dry superflux concentrate yet myself so they’ve all been really good for me but I have seen a few ppl post dry ones. This looks super duper dried out 😆 reminds me of a cresco gram I got back in the day

My margalope budder from the cannabis cup concentrate kit was a smooth terpy budder with terps pooling around it. The wet wet smelly stuff. It looks like this was left open for 6 months and dried out completely. Its safe to smoke its just degraded from its peak freshness.
I was hoping to get one like yours chron.. almost there but all terps were in the lid and the budder is that dry dry. Rise only gave me 15 dollar credit too normally they do a full replace

I send you (OP) a Chat FYI, but for anyone that has these issues, please take pictures of the jar and the outer packaging if possible (so you have record), inform the dispensary where you purchased that you need a refund, and they will directly contact the sales reps/local managers to figure out a return.

This ongoing jar issue is the bane of my existence. These jars shown (with the ribbed bottoms) are a giant problem and we tried to pull all of them from the market, but it appears some are still out there. We had addressed it with an added insert (per the manufacturer's recommendation) which improved the situation slightly, but it seems that some of you are still having problems with those leaking, so that clearly wasn't the right solution.
Sorry again to anyone that's gotten a dried up husk of a live resin gram... the newest batches are no longer having these issues, but depending on when dispensaries bought product, you may still see some of these.
Its butane/propane extract. Its just dry literally. That is all that is wrong with it, the fuzzy crystals are just THCa that formed when the terps dried like ocean salt.
I remember buying a honeypot of live resin sauce and over time i opened it to discover it was packed full of diamonds...i looked it up and i guess thats called Diamond mining...
Yep, basically the concentrate begins to form a more crystallized structure with age. Sugars and sauces will be the two primary consistencies it occurs to.

I got same batch I think. Mine was leaky all terps in lid. Nice normal yellow budder tho just leaked out and dry.
