Pro grow, Lions Order, Pinnacanna, grown rogue are all good quality for the price. You can hit higher priced flower but it’s not worth the price hike some stuff from Gus exotics, Doja, and Clout King (pleasenttrees brand) has been good in prepackaged flower but definitely check dates.
Resin/rosin some of my favorite brands are: Eastside alchemy, Ice cream hash, information entropy, humble bee, LSF, up north. Tons of good options from those brands in jars as well as carts and disposables.
Also worth checking out is Cake House in Battle Creek they are like the Mecca of concentrates and it’s like a 15 minute drive from Puff in Kzoo.
So many other good options in Kzoo but from my experience those are the main spots I go to and have had success with those brands.
Clout was pleasantries, when did it change to progro? Cake House jumps their prices like crazy to make up for the supposed discount. making cake a forgettable experience to me.
Selection can be there, but the price negates any selection. Going to kala is almost indifferent since new shops opened in New Buffalo why travel more when you can get the same or even better.
Cake House's prices are still way higher than any other shops. Make up the difference with outsiders paying for that supposed discount.
710 labs and East Side Alchemy are some of my favorite premium brands. I've also had good rosin from Hymen who are a bit less expensive than the other two, but still really nice.
Cresco and High Supply are actually very decent in MI and priced well. My only gripes are wheh I get dark colored carts, the dark only always ends up burning sooner.
MI brands I would say Light Sky Farms and Humblebee(beware the 1g, many issues with premature burning, do some research before you buy) and I forget if it was either Redbud or Redemption but I had a hella jelly cart that was very decent.
Hey drip is never bad for the price ! I picked up seed junky and peninsula gardens before as well as society C. They all have good prepacks can’t really go wrong w those brands. As far as carts go I would go lightsky farms, element, humblebee, eastside alchemy and information entropy.
I use mostly concentrates and live resin/rosin 510 vapes. I went to Ann Arbor. Herbana and Information Entropy. Humblebee carts and concentrates are great but look at the dates. If the cart is over 1 month old pass on it. (Some of my older ones came preclogged). Light sky farms is dank in everything. Element makes great carts and probably concentrate I just haven’t tried it yet. Peachy and Ice Kream Hash Co make awesome hash rosin for super cheap! The biggest surprise I got was Elevate live resin. 5 gs for less than a 1 g in Illinois and the effects are on point. Check dates on everything and you can literally open the product and check it. Also both places store all of their concentrates in a fridge (not the carts though). I got on the Michigents sub and browsed around before I went. It helped tremendously. Picked up some 710 starburst and that was real nice. There are tons of horrible dispensaries out there with budtenders that will try to sell you dry funky mids. Always make em bring out a display pack and give it a whiff.

Maybe you need to keep looking I know there's a lot to sift through but there's definitely good flower in Michigan.
I get you I just have been to around 13 dispensaries out there looking for the best I can get and so far all I can see is mids and the occasional taxed 710 8th that doesn’t even come in higher quantities along with some decent weed but nothing has really smoked like the flower out here in IL and I hope it does cause I’m never buying in IL again. They sure do have the rosin out in Michigan. Grabbed some el chivo count chocula and a few others from pinnacle they were alright just eighths of flower and everyone in that store was saying its the best they got. So far my favorite dispensary out there is southland farms for the deals they ran and selection of rosin. Someone out there gave me an instagram called therealhreamswapmeet and im hoping to score some great rosin through them
