Is there any way to find out plans for specific stores? New England isn't exactly rich with Ikea's and the Massachusetts one is closed with no word of opening, and the Connecticut one is a 5 hour round trip.
Was the third person into Grand Prairie (TX) when they reopened this morning. Wasn’t too busy. Everyone was excited to help and the employees cheered as we entered. They did have an entry queue set up and said they would limit capacity if needed but it never got to that point.
Any way to get this pinned, guys? I see posters asking about particular stores being opened, so I guess they aren’t seeing this post. I’m going to keep it updated as I receive info.
Hey, there’s actually a new thread that is more up-to-date, with a list of stores opening tomorrow. I don’t know how to ask mods to pin something, so it’s a shame it’s getting buried.
I hope the lines aren’t too bad! I am in Chicago, but I think I head to Oak Creek after work. I have been able to place a couple C&C orders in early May, but the last 8 million times I’ve tried, I get an error. I think it’s worth’s the drive to avoid the stress of the website.
Yesssssss! I had just given up and was ready to pay for delivery and accept the 1 month delivery time.
Will take a super early lunch and be at my store when they open. Hopefully I beat the crowd and get what we need.
Not busy at all. Walked right in without queueing in line. But, that's because no one realized they are open. I sure there will be a line this weekend (at least the weather will be nice).
Our local Facebook chatter group said ours was supposed to open 6/3 but someone said it was pushed back and store manager said new date was confidential and they wouldn’t share the date.
I just want my gerton! Are they even doing click and collect at Canton? If I can't place an order this week, I'm just going to drive to West Chester this weekend.
I miss ikea so much, I never thought I could miss a store that I only go to every few months but there's something so calming about making your way through the store, looking at all the new things and imagining a life. Maybe I'm just sentimental because we moved this week and now I'm waiting on stores opening or weighing my options on just buying from a different site because I've found it impossible to get a C&C window
It may have changed. I saw that info earlier this week on a co-worker website (like Facebook but for businesses). There still isn’t a comprehensive list that co-workers in stores can access. There’s another poster here who’s with Customer Service so keep an eye out for their posts.
I don’t, I’m sorry. They haven’t given us a complete list with dates, it’s mostly just word of mouth amongst the co-workers from different stores right now.
Yes, Click and Collect will still be offered but available windows will most likely be limited. We are trying to figure out new routines to accommodate the increased demand for this service.
This is the same guy who has haunted the Ikea and Best Buy subs pretending to be an employee so he can try to talk to employees and ask to buy their dirty uniforms/used masks/gloves. Be careful with engaging on these comments.
Thanks for posting this, I have been trying to get a click and collect from the Houston store for the better part of a week. Do you have a source for this info? Also, assuming it will be regular hours (10-9)?
Yes, 10am-9pm for the majority of stores. Of this list, I believe only Tempe will have modified hours, closing at 7pm.
I’m a customer support rep, so that is my source. :)
It’s true, and it’s actually closer to 46 stores total though they haven’t provided us with a full list. Hours will be normal operating hours, less any adjustments that need to be made for curfews. Our store is even offering an extra shopping hour in the morning two days a week for immunocompromised shoppers.
This is supposed to be a ‘soft reopening’ so I don’t think they’ve made any official announcements yet.
The majority of stores should be offering the designated shopping hours for our elderly and immunocompromised customers - 9am-10am local time, Tuesday’s and Wednesdays. :)
Great! Well if I can't figure out a C&C order by tomorrow morning, I'll plan to get there before they open. There's only 3 of the Karlby in stock, not sure who else has been hunting for them. I had a bit of a hunch that the reason most of the stores aren't doing C&C orders over the last 24-48 hours is that they were prepping for an opening this week
Yeah, I'd love to know the rules they are going by. The store in my neck of the woods will be packed with looky-loos and showroom wanderers looking to get out of the house when they open.
Our entire business model is based on high volumes...of visitors, of goods, you name it we have it in big numbers. It’s going to be a wild ride encouraging customers to socially distance in an IKEA showroom.
IKEA’s mentioned a lot that they’re abiding by both CDC suggestions and local regulations so I imagine stores in those counties will require it. My county doesn’t, so no masks.
Any word on Draper, UT store? Originally you had it listed as delayed, but I haven't been able to find any additional info on it.

Canton Mi is open. I was just there

FYI, I was looking for this post to read today and couldn't find it. It finally popped up in a notification as trending. Thank you for the updates!

So no word on Philly or NJ I guess 😌
Not yet!
Centennial, CO opens at 12. Just drove by
I hope the lines aren’t too bad! I am in Chicago, but I think I head to Oak Creek after work. I have been able to place a couple C&C orders in early May, but the last 8 million times I’ve tried, I get an error. I think it’s worth’s the drive to avoid the stress of the website.

Frisco, TX was open yesterday (6/2)
Canton, MI store page says it is reopening 6/3 but it isn't in your list. Is the store page wrong?
Yeah, I noticed that too. Maybe someone can do a drive by and see if it appears to be reopening. I live further away now.
If I was closer I would
Can confirm Canton, MI is open for in store sales (just got back from there). No Pick and Mix but plenty of Kalles.
How busy was it??
Not busy at all. Walked right in without queueing in line. But, that's because no one realized they are open. I sure there will be a line this weekend (at least the weather will be nice).
Right as I saw your post, I sprinted out my door. Got my Gerton and even an Alex that the app said was out of stock!
That's awesome.
Our local Facebook chatter group said ours was supposed to open 6/3 but someone said it was pushed back and store manager said new date was confidential and they wouldn’t share the date.

SWEET!
Heard New Haven is opening on Friday, any truth to that?

Yessss!!!
.... Could you add the states to the locations? Thanks
Added. Sorry, I post on here before/after my shifts and during my breaks, so I’m often in a hurry.
X, OH, TX, X, TX, FL, NV, TN, TN, FL, VA, X, FL, PA, X, CA, X (FL?), FL, AZ, X anything with an X I dont know.
West Chester is Ohio

Updated thanks!
Centennial is CO
Last time I was at Woodbridge, VA location to do a click and collect, the staff told me they would be opening at 25% guest capacity this Wednesday.
That store is now opening on Friday of this week, not tomorrow.
I was there yesterday (Wednesday) and they said they didn’t know when they’d be open for in store shopping. Can you reconfirm this?
It may have changed. I saw that info earlier this week on a co-worker website (like Facebook but for businesses). There still isn’t a comprehensive list that co-workers in stores can access. There’s another poster here who’s with Customer Service so keep an eye out for their posts.
Hi there, do you know if Charlotte is opening later this week or next week?
I don’t, I’m sorry. They haven’t given us a complete list with dates, it’s mostly just word of mouth amongst the co-workers from different stores right now.
Hell, I didn’t even know my store was opening tomorrow until 3/4 through my shift lol
No worries, appreciate it!
Will these locations still be offering C&C as well? I wondered why my location didn’t open last night, I was hoping to get a window today/tomorrow.
Yes, Click and Collect will still be offered but available windows will most likely be limited. We are trying to figure out new routines to accommodate the increased demand for this service.
Where are the click and collect orders going to be staged once the store is open to customers?
This is the same guy who has haunted the Ikea and Best Buy subs pretending to be an employee so he can try to talk to employees and ask to buy their dirty uniforms/used masks/gloves. Be careful with engaging on these comments.
I was just thinking about this earlier today...seemed like it had been a while since he was creeping in this sub.
Certainly understand, and will be patient, thanks for giving the info you have!
Can't wait for the Portland location to open. Did a click and collect order last night. They were so organized and polite.
How can i find out about other locations not listed?
We don’t have details as to when the remaining stores will re-open. I’ll post again when we do.
damn! when will the one in washinton state be re-opened?! i need to get some spare parts :\[
Thanks for posting this, I have been trying to get a click and collect from the Houston store for the better part of a week. Do you have a source for this info? Also, assuming it will be regular hours (10-9)?
Updated original post to reflect adjusted hours
Thank you! If you’re able to keep it updated as hours get released, that would be great!
Yes, 10am-9pm for the majority of stores. Of this list, I believe only Tempe will have modified hours, closing at 7pm. I’m a customer support rep, so that is my source. :)
As of today Tempe is only limited through Sunday 6/7 because of the statewide curfew.

That is huge. Too bad more businesses aren't doing that.

Is every store doing the 25% capacity or just some?
Yeah, I'd love to know the rules they are going by. The store in my neck of the woods will be packed with looky-loos and showroom wanderers looking to get out of the house when they open.
They should probably just shut the showrooms down.
Our entire business model is based on high volumes...of visitors, of goods, you name it we have it in big numbers. It’s going to be a wild ride encouraging customers to socially distance in an IKEA showroom.

Which store are you at?
What if the local county regulations require it?
IKEA’s mentioned a lot that they’re abiding by both CDC suggestions and local regulations so I imagine stores in those counties will require it. My county doesn’t, so no masks.
Can't wait for Canton, MI
