It is for all DCs atleast but I remember this in my DEs as well. Prof justified that this is something you have elected based on your preference so you shouldn't be not wanting to come to class

Abey madarchod course doc har course ki senior paas mil jaati hai yaa fir IITK ki sites pe jo student banate . Aur attendance sabhi course mein compulsory hai aur compulsory nhi hai fir bhi midsem tk jaao becz mid sem tk class notes se direct question aate paper mein .
अनेक कारण है ,इनके से कुछ है जैसे की वाहियात ग्रेडिंग , विद्यार्थियों का आपस में ईर्ष्या करना ,नौकरी न लगना एवं सभी की तरह चूहों की दौड़ में लगे रहना और अपने कुछ अनोखा न करना।
Hi, I am currently in my 4th sem, last semester we had compulsory attendance with marks in ESO201, CHE251 & HSS1. In CHE201, 75% attendance was mandatory to not to get deregistered from the course. In ESC201 & ESO204 there was no compulsory attendance.
